  • Unable to connect to the network wireless company after Win7 upgrade

My network is not broadcasting the SSID, so on Vista, I used to set up the connection manually.  However, with Win7 64, I get an error "an unexpected error has occurred."

    Reference Dell xpsM1330

    Intel WiFi Link 4965AGN

    Any help would be appreciated.

OK, let's see if we can keep it active and come up with a solution...

Got a POC MS to give me some info that may help...

I have known many above have, while I can connect to wireless networks, including my home wpa2, plus any time, I tried to do a my wpa2-Enterprise don't, go and had errors in the event log. also the similar failures whenever I would try to manually create any wireless profile using wpa-enterprise or wpa2-enterprise.

Note also mine was a machine that got USMT data migrated, and I have a feeling that it was responsible for migrating the keys below...

So here was the final solution, and maybe you guys can check if it is the only necessary thing that I had tried various other things without result, but it was the 'last' modification I did that things work...

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\RasMan\PPP\EAP

There are a number of subkeys with different numeric values...

while I can not tell you exactly what to search for, in my case I noticed there was a key pointing to what I expected, a related key ras in the ED. of windows\system32 however, I had also three other keys pointing to the files associated with Symantec, which I did not on my machine newly built.

So I exported keys of a newly-built machine that did symantec. He had four keys under EAP, but only one, the last of them, was related to Symantec, underlined all the other files in system32.

I have imported the keys in my broken machine, removed the a key which was related to symantec and without even having to restart... everything has been corrected...

so... here my suggestion and I hope everyone can comments if it works, so we have more information if it's the order of the keys or just the presence of bad entries... but I would say, start by looking at your key under EAP and see if there's anything that references the dll files which may not exist on your machine.

If you don't have these keys, either remove the key, either try to put the file in place which is referenced, assuming he hasn't.

We will do other tests internally, so I'll feed if we have additional findings.

    Good luck.

  • Unable to connect on the Messages or FaceTime after upgrading to Sierra

Good afternoon! After upgrading my MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2010) to macOS Sierra (10.12.), I am unable to connect to Messages or FaceTime. They worked fine before the upgrade.

    • Messages: After entering my Apple ID and password, I get the message "Could not sign in iMessage." "Could not sign. Please check your network connection and try again. "or"an error has occurred during authentication. "My network is connected to the network (where this message), and the password is correct. Also, I have generated a password app specific to Messages. Enter just grew the message "your Apple ID or the password is incorrect." Messages is works well with my Google Talk and AIM accounts.
    • FaceTime: After entering my Apple ID and password, the engine just turns and it never connects me. Similarly, I have generated a password app specific but use it just gets the message, "your Apple ID or the password is incorrect."

No idea how I can regain access to these applications? Thank you!

Reached out to the Twitter account of Apple Support. He proposed to restart. It worked.

I started this thread on the debate under of the "Fusion free v2.0.3" but Michael suggested I post this as a new thread, because it turns out that my problem was not due to the much discussed most recent update security Max OS causing ThinPrinting to break.  Whenever I have start up of my (Win XP and Windows 7) VM beta I get the above error message, and therfore cannot take advantage of the ability of merger of ThinPrint print on my printer Mac network.  Michael asked several log files, I have attached 3 in this post and others attached to my next post, so I hope you smart people of VMWare will be able to help me with this problem.  Thanks in advance!

    Ron

I got a response from ThinPrint with a possible solution - the problem may come from a file/etc/printcap obsolete, which refers to a computer that no longer exists. The DNS lookup may be a delay of 30 seconds and can block the process of thnuclnt. The file/etc/printcap file contains a copy of the configuration of the printer, but it is not necessary for the thnuclnt. It is generally not yet created by OS X by default, but it seems that previous updates to the OS X system or printer drivers can be turned on at any given time. Subsequently, the option got turned off, but the old file was left with outdated information.

Could you try to rename the file/etc/printcap file and see if it eliminates the delay of 30 seconds? To do this, run Terminal and use the following command:

    sudo mv/etc/printcap /etc/printcap.bak

  • Unable to connect to the App store on iOS 4.2.1

    Hi guys!

I decided to take my iPhone good ol' ' 3 G out of the darkness to use it as a backup phone in case of any situation, unhappy and unable to connect to the iTunes/App store after several tests. I checked my wifi connection and it worked well on Safari. Someone here has a tip on how to fix? Or has Apple really stop its connectivity on the older iOS app store - are

After seeing your post, I booted up my 3G to test and noticed the same thing. I thought it might have something to do with Date & Time settings. I noticed that, even though 'Set automatically' performed, the phone thought that the current date was in September of last year. Since the App Store will not work if the date and time settings are incorrect and that the phone can't connect to the server to get the right time, I would say that is why you don't get on the App Store (assuming that you also see the anomaly of the moment).

I have an iPod touch 2nd generation, which also iOS 4.2.1 and will test it tomorrow there.

Renewal of your IP address.  Works with Windows XP SP2, IE 8.00.6001.18702 file, I think that Version 3.  It has been installed on a disk provided by Microsoft after that old installation became corrupt (in the sense of Microsoft technical support.)  Before that, wireless network worked well.   (So unable to connect to the Internet for updates.)   Have tried to change the other settings and different messages acquired when it SHOWS that I am connected but cannot connect because of something to do with the certificate.  I don't remember what I did to try to solve this problem in the last days.

I should add that I have tried the solutions of the previous forum on this topic, and none worked.

    Hi Marilynnla,

Sorry to hear about the bad experience you encounter. Lets see if the network problem can somehow be archived.

Read this article and follow the steps. Lets see if it helps in any way.

  • series 0: could not connect to the printer virtual daemon after 25 attempts

I get the error message that the virtual printer daemon can't connect whenever I start the guest system and I can't get my printer to work from Windows.  He used to work when I first set up my VM.  Any suggestions on what this means and how to fix it?  I'm on Mac OS X 10.5.6 on a MacBook Pro and have Windows XP Home Edition on the virtual machine.  Also, when the printer works on the virtual machine, it still required me to disconnect, and then reconnect the USB connection to make it work.

If you Search the forums for "Failed to connect to the virtual after 25 attempts printer daemon", the first result from that moment is Re: unable to connect to the printer via ThinPrint error: "serial0: unable to connect to the virtual printer daemon after 25 attempts." The unit will cut'. In this thread, mudaltsov follows the problem down to one/etc/printcap needless - move which should solve the problem.

  • Unable to connect to the website of 'http', steam and App Store

I use a Macbook Pro 13 inch, mid-2012 with OSX Yosemite 10.10.5. I had a problem with my network which I cannot connect to the 'http' site in Google Chrome or Safari. It shows ' site is not reachable, refused to sign, ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED '. In addition, I can not connect to Steam and it shows 'code error - 102, unable to connect to the server. "Server may be offline or you cannot be connected to the internet". I can access the App Store, but most of the app doesn't load the image, and it seems weird that I cannot install or update applications from the App Store. It is said "we could complete the purchase. Cannot connect to the server'. Finally, I can connect to the Web site "https" as google.com, facebook.com, youtube.com, and apple.com. I don't know what I was doing before that happens because I'm not all of the firewall settings or IP network since I bought it. I don't even no matter what antivirus installed on my macbook. I do not think that the problem of my wifi because it works fine on my other devices. I try to fix but still have no luck.

Here what I was trying to fix my problem:

    1. I try to restart the computer, then reconnect to my wifi - nothing fixed

    2. I have try to change the DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 - still not fixed, worse still, unable to connect all Web sites

    3. I try to delete the Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration folder and restart the computer - nothing has changed

    4. I try to start safe mode and it works very well and when I reboot to normal, it still happens

    5. I try to remove and re-add the Chrome in the firewall settings to allow incoming connections - nothing fixed

    6. I try to delete all the data navigation and cookies in Chrome and Safari - still not fixed

    7. I try to plug in the ethernet cable, as a first step, it works very well. Then, when I disconnected and reconnected again for the second time, and then he had the same problems.

What I saw here, I check that iTunes had recently many updates with the same version of iTunes 12.4.1 since June 4, 2016 (1 time), June 5, 2016 (1 time), June 6, 2016 (2 times), June 7, 2016 (7 times), June 8, 2016 (2 times), June 10, 2016 (9 times), June 11, 2016 (1 time) and June 12, 2016 (1 hour). I don't know if this is normal or not because he had to download and installed about 24 times with the same versions! It is possible that iTunes is the cause of this problem? Any help and suggestions that can solve my problem? Thanks in advance!

    Hi AussieEgypt,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.

If a problem does not occur when it is started in safe mode, then you have already determined that the problem was isolated to a few 3rd party software running on your Mac.  Take a look at the information below to start with the removal of some elements of start-up and connection and see if the problem persists:
