  You can access from the finder Time Capsule? If this isn't the case, then Time Machine will not work.

  You upgrade the computer snow to El Capo and keep the same name?

  If you want to backup, it is best to start again... clean the new backup any attempt to add a previous backup failed.

  I recommend that you actually erase the TC... do a complete factory reset and start again.

  The previous backup if necessary can be archived on a USB drive connected to the TC assuming that Airport utility can still access it. Airport utility accesses the TC?

  With update installs all sorts of things can go wrong... so tell me more if you can not get anywhere.

  About a month after moving to OS X 10.11.3 calendar application does not load. I thought that ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iCal deletion would empty it. I no longer get the error earlier, even if it also started with the ApplicationSpecificInformation:

  Please, back up all data. If you have iCloud calendars, archive them by following the instructions on this page under the heading "download a calendar of iCloud.com." all you need is a web browser, not the calendar application. Do the same with the other calendars of network you have, if possible.

  If the problem is not yet solved, put back to each of the points you have moved in this step, crushing the that may have been created in its place. Do not put the files that you moved in step 1.

  Move this folder on the desktop:

  Note: you do not move the application to calendars; you move a folder named "calendars". If there is no change, put the folder back where he was.

  Restore the snapshot folder Time Machine or another backup prior to corruption.

  Use a third party application like "Calendar cleaner" (not tested by me) to try to repair the database.

  Cannot perform vMotion, let me explain you about my Infrastructure.  We have 3 ESX4.1 host and the NAS/NFS data store, while I'm trying to migrate a virtual machine from one host to another, but I get the error message below

  

  But when I checked and found that I am able to migrate the computer virtual ESX2 (ESX2 to ESX3) but impossible to migrate the virtual computer ESX1.

  and the name of the data store is different in ESX1, find the screenshot below.

  Photo above shows the path name or the Datastore NFS ESX3 folder.

  I intend to migrate all the VM from the data store (ESX_ds04) and disassemble the data store and mount it again.

  Could you please guide me IF I am doing wrong or if you have a KB or resolution for the same.

  Its a rather long question and I have been scratching my head for a long time.

  But the problem has been resolved,

  I not mounted on the datstore of the ESX host and installation rear with good file name and path.

  When we set up initially we set up with the wrong file name,

  example: \esx_ds01 in some of the ESX host and esx_ds01 in some of the esx host.

  now I set up with esx_ds01 to all esx hosts and everything seems fine

  Hello everyone, I'm getting the "unable to perform the backup because the database is closed" error after performing a backup scheduled on the database. The database is clearly open, already tried rebooting the database/system, but without success. This is probably related to the very recent change of password for SYS. As we changed it, we were able to run the backup... Can I ren hollow backupset backup RMAN command, but without success with Enterprise Manager.

  You tried to perform step 1 and step 2 provided in method 3 to check the issue?

  If you did not do the 3 method, try the steps in the same and check if that helps.

  If the problem persists, you can try the following steps and check.

  Method 1:

  You try to run a SFC scan on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.

  Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

  Method 2:

  You can run the following DISM command from an elevated command prompt and see if the patch will install after you run the DISM command.

  a. drag from the right edge of the screen and then click on Search.
  b. enter the command prompt in the search box.

  c. in the list of results, drag down on or right click command prompt, and then press or click on run as administrator.
  In the administrator command prompt window, type the following commands. Press ENTER after each command:

  DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
  DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

  We have 3 ESX servers on Virtual Center 2.5. One of the ESX Server suddenly restarted due to hardware failure. There were 5 virtual machines on this particular ESX host.

  When an ESX host is down, the migration of all virtual machines to other ESX hosts in the cluster is not a VMotion functionality, but this is a feature of VMware HA. The vSphere availability Guide:

  "VMware HA offering high availability for virtual machines by pooling their and the hosts they reside on in a cluster." Cluster hosts are monitored and in case of failure, the virtual machines on a failed host are restarted on alternate hosts. »

  Therefore, enable HA of the cluster to achieve the desired result.
