Unable to play 3 Simcity and origin in Windows 8

Original title: program programs Application Applications compatibility

I am trying to download Sims 3 & original is not compatible have tried to change the compatibility setting for it for windows 7, but with still no luck.

Hi Juliet,.

Let us know a few details about the issue.

1. What are the compatibility settings you changed?

2. what happens when you try to install the games? You get the error message?

It seems that games are compatible with Windows 8. See the following links to check for this.

Sims 3:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/win8/CompatCenter/ProductViewerWithDefaultFilters?TempOsid=win8&Locale=en-us&TextSearch=Sims%2B3&Type=Both&CurrentPage=0&TotalPages=1&ShowCriteria=0&SortCriteria=Relevance&Compatibility=Unknown&LastRequested=14

Origin:

You can try to install the games in the State of clean boot and check.

Clean boot: To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to perform a clean boot for a problem in Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista

Note: Please refer to the section: How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting section of Kb to start the computer to a normal startup after you fix the problem

If this does not work, then try to install the game in compatibility mode and check.

Follow the steps to install in compatibility mode:

a. right click on the driver installation file and select Properties and then tap or click on the compatibility tab.

b. check the box run this program in compatibility modof e.

c. press or click the menu drop down and select a previous operating system, and then tap or click OK.

  • Unable to play media, source and program windows empty

I have Adobe CS Production Premium installed 5.5 and generally operating at 100% of features on a computer Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) (AMD FX-8150, 16 GB of RAM, 200 + GB of free space on the disk). For the second time recently, I ran into a problem where the source and program windows/frames does not display my video clips or sequences at all; as usual I double clicked an item in my frame of window/project to modify something or open a sequence of reading, and I get nothing. (Screenshot below.) By clicking on the play button after a few minutes can lead to hearing some audio, but it does not always work, and it is very delayed, sometimes by minutes. This happens through all of my projects, so it does not appear to be linked to an individual, and it keeps restarting.

I'm not sure what I did to heal the problem the first time around; It seemed just to get over. Nevertheless, does very difficult editing, and I'm about to start a new project...

No idea how to solve this problem, or at least what might be at the origin of this?http://www.badlucksoft.com/premiere_problem_small.png

For this kind of problem, I suspect the graphics driver.

Unable to play the song in iTunes.  When I double click on a song title, I get a msg "original file could not be found is located."  You want to locate? I click on locate, it then takes me to the music library folder that displays a list of the itunes library by date files.  If I click on one, it then brings back me to my list of songs.  I then double click on the song, and then get the msg "original msg was not found.  I can play the song in my folder to \My eMusic.  I think he's using Windows Media Player to play the song out of this folder.  Any help would be appreciated.

  • Is there a way to re set Lightroom to the original settings, I've been playing with it and got somewhere that I don't know how to get out of... not particularly computer savvu

Is there a way to re set Lightroom to the original settings, I was playing with it and has gotten, somewhere, I don't know how to get out of. Not very computer savvy

    For starters, stop Lightroom

    On Windows, do the following

Click the Windows Start button and in the search box type: -.

    %AppData%\adobe\lightroom

    Then press Return\Enter

This will take you to the folder Lightroom (see image below)

Select the Preferences folder and click on delete to send it to the Recycle Bin.

Close the Lightroom folder, and re-start the Lightroom program.

  • Server Stream.play () and original put edge up

I'm stuck getting a call from Stream.play () on a saved video file (.flv) of origin in edge servers.  Don't even know if it's possible.

If I call Stream.play () on a server and connect a viewer directly to that server, the viewer sees the flow of play.  If I call Stream.play () on the original server and connect a viewer for the stream edge server is not.

Is it possible to set up in any way as the play() call to spread of edge servers?

According to FMS 3.5 docs on the Stream class, here's the deal:

«When you call Stream.play() on the server, the server becomes Publisher.»

    See 5e-7e42.html#WSF74EED77-5C4C-423d-B879-7C02DF8FEC5F http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/FlashMediaServer/3.5_SS_ASD/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d11a11afc9

If this server becomes a publishing server and lets say it was an origin on a CDN server, should not the other machines in the configuration of receive the published stream?

When you publish a live stream on an origin server does its way somehow to the edge server.  This analogy is not relevant to the scenario in which you call Stream.play () on a saved file?

    Thank you

If your facility of edge and origin are works well in the way that they have been configured by NCR so all you have to do is to make sure (Stream.play) that happens on all origin servers that you would use. There is nothing else to do on Edge server.

When a viewer connects to the edge server, it is routed to one of the original servers and would be able to underwrite the livestream served by the FMS app (via Stream.play ()).

    Thank you

    Mamata

  • Unable to play the video due to the incompatible program and need to change the resolution

Hi, I just bought BBC Get Active in French.  I live in France and I have Windows 8.1.  Video on this CD does not work, or not the speech, and he tells me that the program is incompatible. Having said that, also, I need to change the resolution of screen 1600 x 900, that only about 800 x 600 but when I do the screen becomes too small and the program returns to a large screen at 800 x 600.  He mentions the help of Vista or XP but as Windows 8.1 is more advanced I expect him to be just as compatible.  I changed the country of origin of the CD in the UK and hoped that that would solve the problem but no luck.

Does anyone have a solution for me please?  I'm a child of 74 years, and not quite abreast with the technical jargon so its simplest form would be appreciated.

Original title: BBC GET INTO WINDOWS FRENCH INCOMPATIBILITY 8.1?

    Sunday,

Hello again, just to make it count that I finally solved myself the problem by reinstalling QuickTime 6 in version 7, but I think the problem was to DO NOT to install it via the program itself, but to install itself as a separate installation, I think I read this somewhere in the course of my research, but at this point I could not remember which way I had installed it.  Hope this will help someone else in the future.

    Kind regards
