  I have problems with the creation of a pilot application based on IVI. I use Agilent N6700B PowerSupply simply configure and output voltage via GPIB with LV2009 (and Win7). The main issue is with the name of the 'channel' I need to specify in the application. Could someone please confirm ChannelName should I use and if the MAX settings are correct? I have attached all necessary files.

  Hi, PKI,

  The correct physical name for the channel is '1' and it was filled for you by the driver under the advanced > Instrument Driver Software Module (see MAX1.jpg). You can name your virtual channel name well you want under the pilot Sessions > section virtual names, but the physical name must always be 1 as specified in the driver (MAX2.jpg). In your application, make sure that you use exactly the same name for the virtual channel as recorded in MAX.

  I saw this post in another place, and there was a proposal to reorganize the properties in your node as well as "Active Channel" is the first.  As mentioned on this post, property nodes run top down and you may need to specify the channel before enabling the peer to peer.  Did you get a chance to try this yet?  You still see the same error?

• Preserve the Filename feature - channel listening

  I get a file from the trading partner. I'm polling a folder where they going to drop the file and I'm also archiving of the file. The thing is whenever the file they fall would be of the same name. So, if I drop the file with the same name again in the channel of listening, the file must be saved with a different name or something like that. I want just all files to be differentiated with another name in the archive directory. I tried to check the setting "preserve filename". Then I dropped the file with the same name (which is already in the archive directory), but the file under a new name is not stored in the archive location. I tried to not checking the "filename" preserve, even in this case, nothing happens. We use SOA 11.1.1.4.0 and it comes to Protocol PFF operation of inbound traffic.

  So, if I get the details of the patch to support and apply them, will be the B2B able to archive the file with a different something like that?

  From now there is no such patch available, so it will take some time for the dev team to provide a fix. Once the fix is available, it will add the timestamp in file name before archiving it.

• reading of multiple channels on the oscilloscope

  Hey there everyone,

  First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm still relatively new to LabVIEW, but I read most of the bases.

  How is this issue work VISA.

  I have an oscilloscope which has sensors to 3 channels and I want to display 3 channels on the same graph. The example of VI, which is included with the driver allows me to access a channel however it also adds other features, such as the control device that I didn't need, I just want to read data from the oscilloscope.

  I will not be able to access the gear for a few days, but have started coding. Here's what I've coded so far.

  

  

  The first blue function is 'Reading of Array wave' and the second 'wave in table scale ".

  Am I allowed to access the VISA like this? Or is it illegal access that would cause problems?

  I tried to access several channels before, so I was in the laboratory, however they have always produced errors.

  I use an oscilloscope tektronix TDS2013C, Labview 2013 and that you have downloaded the driver concerned for my model.

  All relative links to learning tools or help would be greatly appreciated!

  Please read the manual on a reading and extraction.

  As I said, the reading will launch a new capture. When you call it 3 times, each record returned will be later time than the previous capture. Either do what I said or call an extraction 3 times now.

• Performance on the Repeater with DataPrvider

  Just using a tile object with a Repeater in one related to a dataprovider. I use this to generate a bunch of thumbnails of images for a photoblog experience. However, it seems to be performing incredibly slowly when you do any reasonable amount of numbers. For example if I make an array of 100 images (which isn't a lot) it takes forever and quite frequently crashes Internet Explorer. Out the dataprovider element it accelerates in the output window that I created where I just write on the table but of course defeats the whole purpose. Am I missing something stupid here? If it is not for this? This in flash 8 would write out in a pardon flash, the play on words... Don't understand, even when I write just Plains without an image in there boxes, it takes forever. I'm sure that this is not intended to be the case that some examples of this where I saw it, it was the same. The example of flickr on the flex examples page did the same thing.
  
  Is there a better way to do this or is this the only and best solution flex can offer. If yes its back to Flash I'm afraid that would be a shame as flex seems to have some nice features.

  On a Repeater with a tile for the images, it's something I've done many times with reasonable performance. But I see a red flag in your code. In your function of Writelist() you use addItem on the collection. That's right, but the collection is dynamically bound to the Repeater - also OK. Normally, you want this so that the changes can be picked up and reflected in the user interface.

  However, to do so in a loop can cause the Repeater for re - run of the code and re - create components. I recommend that do you these two things:

  1. in the Writelist(), before the loop: photos.disableAutoUpdate (); and then, after the loop do photos.enableAutoUpdate (). This will prevent the collection of change in the middle of the loop of distribution events.

  2. Add recycleChildren = "true" to the rehearsal. This will ensure that the Repeater does not create any unnecessary components.

  I try to activate the key feature and WiFi in my new HP 15 - ac043tu laptop.

  I use Windows 7 Ultimate 32 operating system.

  I installed all the drivers available on the site Web of HP (http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-ac000-Notebook-PC-series/7771404/model/8326116... for my product.

  To activate the function key, I installed driver: HP System Event Utility - sp71716, but it doesn't seem to work.

  In Device Manager, network controller shows exclamation as shown below. I tried to install Broadcom and Realtek WLAN drivers, tried to turn on/off, uninstalled/reinstalled drivers referring to other positions, but that did not work.

  

  I also tried to install HP SoftPaq Download Manager, but it did not help. Tool does not show my product described.

  I went through a similar question posted by other members, but failed to get the solution. This question gave me hard times.

• Qosmio F20-136: scanned TV guide channel - save the file so you can recharge?

  I have a Qosmio F20 - 136 running XP Media Center. My question is does anyone know the name of the file that has the channels scanned so that if I do a re scan and don't get all channels from the list, because of my reception antenna I can re - load the file on the system with a complete list?

  What happens, if I make a new analysis of the channels of television at home I don't get that nearly 20 tv channels, but if I take the laptop to work, where I guess it's a better reception from the transmitter, I travel 35 channels found. I would like to save the file when its 35 channels scanned and have the opportunity to replace it in the directory, if I do a re scan at home.

  After the end of my second day of test error, I put this question on the table:

  I use ArraytoChannels function to store ADO recordsets as strings. What is strange, is that for the first Recordset, it works; but for the next time through the loop, it always fails with the error message 'cannot be added because the channels of the target are not all the same length.

  I confirmed that:

  the RowData sizes and the ChannelNames are equal,

  both spend the isarray = true test,

  I change the order of the ChannelNames,.

  I have reconnected/disconnected from the oConnexion every time, nothing has changed.

  Another clue. If you check using DIAdem

  you are able to install the debugger in DIAdem.

  It would potentially have shown that the command does not work as expected.

• Detecting by programming error of channel type (so-called task invalid when I transmit channel in the reference entry)

  I am having some problems of data collection with a VI that I put together using LabVIEW 2010 and DAQmx 9.5. My DAQ hardware is an SMU-6341 in a chassis SMU-1071. I have a single VI which runs through all the tasks and controls that are channels in each task. Channels are then moved into a knot of channel property to check the type of channel. It allows me to adjust program which DAQmx read that I use to read data from the buffer.

  I get error code-200428 stating that the task I'm passing in the channel property node is not valid. It then gives me the CHANNEL name that the task is not valid. Am I assuming I can switch from channel at the entrance to a property DAQmx node reference? I know that the task and the channel of the task are configured correctly because I can see the voltage on the digital output terminal.

  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

  Types of channel properties are weird.

  You must connect the task in the upper left entry of the channel property node, not the channel.

  Then choose the 'Active channel' property and add another property to the node which is chanType.  Son of your channel in the first and get the chantype of the second property.

• How can I change the font color on the title of file name list in a folder?

  When you do a "file save as"..., type a document name... Can have the police on this document at a red name round (or other color) fonts for the list of files in the folder.  I want to be able to open the folder and have a file name "stand out" in other securities of black font in grip my eyes with red font?

  Vista does not have this capability.  There may be some 3rd party programs that might work for you, but I could find no one who were free and no coming to add this feature to Windows Explorer.

  Here "a s business option: http://www.xyplorer.com/index.htm but it's a pretty radical change (it is just to add the ability to change the fonts, colors file, and includes many other options, but it is not Windows
  Explorer - this is a totally different file manager) and it costs money so I do not recommend because I think that it is better to use a totally different program Windows Explorer, even if it means not to change the font color of file names.  And if you check, it's a bit expensive just to get this functionality (and who knows the other features of Windows Explorer that you like that you may lose with this alternative - don't really know us much and that it works well with Vidta or causes problems - maybe even serious problems as far as we know - because I know anyone who has ever tried it).

  Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's like that. I think the right answer is that Vista is not supported this feature, and then remove it.

  type 'run '.
  Press enter
  Type "control userpasswords2".
  Click OK
  Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"

  now, you will not need to enter a password to open a session.

• How to save the map features of polyline to a SQL database?

  I have an application with a plan and I'm looking to add the polyline feature, but I'm a little confused as to how I would add all geographical points in my database?  They all get stuck and added in a column?  Or do I have to continue to add columns for each set of points?

  Right now my DB is configured to save a point location and I wonder if I have to make drastic changes to accommodate the polylines.

  I don't know exactly what is a polyline, but I guess it's an ordered list of gps coordinates (please, correct me if I'm wrong)

  you start with the list and you want to store.
  to do that you first create an entry in your reference table, like "insert into poly_references (name) value ("name").
  take the id of insert QSqlQuery.lastInsertId () .toInt)

  You now have a reference id.
  In your polyline, which has a column referenceId, you insert all entries from polyline with this id.

  To retrieve all you first ask your reference table and retrieve the name and the ID. with the id query you the polyline table.

  I use the firefox plugin sqlitemanager to create and experiment with databases and sqlite queries, I can highly recommend it.
