Unknown status alert

I have about 50 iDRAC to OME - a mixture of iDRAC6 & 7. Every day I receive 1 or 2 of the following "Status unknown" alerts raised. Generally followed a warning of "Normal State" 50 to 70 seconds later. There is no visible trend for these, but the frequency makes OME virtually unusable due to the high number of false alarms.

Is there a solution?

Enterprise SNMP OID:. 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.11000.1000.100.1
SNMP generic Trap OID: 6
SNMP specific Trap OID: 3001

Hi and thanks for the post.

Your discovery range includes both iDrac IP and the IP of the server of this box as well Strip in the same range?

I saw some people are having similar problems with lines configured in this way.

There is also a setting preferred (preferences |) I think that the alerts).  On this screen, there is a single checkbox.  If this is true?  If so, you could try unchecking it.  What is OME send an alert to additional State for health change to the console.  The reason that it is for people who don't use SNMP.  Assuming that allows you to track your physical/alerts failures SNMP, you really don't need to have it checked.

Let me know.  THX

Rob

    (3) can we ignore this alert?

    Hi Lee,.

If the State of health of the device then changes to a stranger in the status survey OME automatically generates this alert to say that the health of the device has changed.

If you don't want to see these alerts, you can disable this alert settings option in the preferences. Uncheck the box enable internal health alerts and you will not see these alerts.

  • Unknown status under ITA

    Hello world

ITA recently reported 10 servers PE2950 in the unknown state under the Group of servers.  I tried to solve the problem by performing a discovery/inventory of the affected server, unfortunately, the problem persists.

To resolve this problem, I run the troubleshooting tool and determined that ITA was unable to talk to my server via SNMP.  I restarted the SNMP service on one of the affected servers and then made a discovery/inventory to solve the problem (status is returned to the green).

Around the same time, I met this "unknown status" issues I have restart my DNS server.  I'm not sure if it was the root cause of the problem, however, I can solve all hostnames after the DNS server has restarted including the 10 affected servers.

Could you please help me with the following questions?

-What is the cause of this problem?

-Do you recommend an easier way to restore the functionality on the remaining servers of unknown status?

    Thank you in advance,

  • NEITHER MAX unknown status and entry name box missing

I have a lot of instruments connected via a USB-GPIB. It was working fine. Several instruments came out for calibration, but are now back. All aliases are gone. Visa alias names that I use in my application LV cannot connect. In MAX for an instruments defining the name input box is missing and the status is unknown. In the help pane rename my resource is missing too. Oh HE discarded with stuff this weekend.

I can communicate with all instruments

    Hi Viper,

You have information on what IT changed on your computer?  It is possible that NEITHER MAX somehow has been corrupted.  You can try to repair NI MAX using the instructions available on this link: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/AC6ED75D3D93375686256E8E00245F0D

  • Ports of unit - is not registered & unknown status in CallManager

The unit 4.1 (1) unified with Exchange 2003 out of area

    Sr2c CallManager 4.0 (2A)

I've had a few calls from users today who said that their MWI has not worked. I looked in the event of the unit logs and found the event ID 126 (CiscoUnity_TSP). Then, I went to CallManager Admin and found that the port described where the newspaper was to State "unknown".

I tried to reset the port of CCM, but nothing helped. I also have another port which is hardly used and has the value "unregistered". In addition to presenting evidence running the unit in the middle of the morning? Thanks in advance.

Cisco Unity device - CM TSP 75 (port of Cisco Unity 71): an attempt to market the indicator message waiting (MWI) to extension 7891 failed because Cisco Unity lost connection with Cisco CallManager 10.40.0.10.

This condition can occur occasionally in normal operation, and the MWI request will be retried once Cisco Unity reconnects with Cisco CallManager. If the MWI status remains unchanged for a long period of time or if there are a lot of these warnings from Cisco Unity in a short period of time, there may be a configuration of MWI problem or another problem.

For more information, see the "On-hold Message indicators" chapter in the Cisco Unity Troubleshooting Guide.

    For more information, click: http://www.CiscoUnitySupport.com/find.php

Make sure that you run the plu software recent and TSP. If you can download this at

    http://Cisco.com/Kobayashi/SW-Center/SW-voice.shtml

Former TSP software have a history of becoming not recorded by the CTM. If you reboot the CCM server, it seems to bring back... But if update software TSP, he'll settle all this.

    Good luck

  • Unknown status of blackBerry Smartphones / notification

I just got a new indicator status / notification appear on my screen and I don't know what it is or how to get rid of - hope someone can help me please!

It is a small black circle, white outline, with a white arrow pointing into it - the arrow comes from the upper right in the circle, with the tip of the arrow in the center of the circle. There the Red Star / new symbol notification on this topic as well as a '1' next to it, just as a text / email notification etc. I opened all my apps to see if it goes away, but it's not. I also checked the user guide, but once again, nothing.

    I hope someone can help.

The notice says you have an application that you previously downloaded or purchased in App World > My World, which is ready for an upgrade on your device. Look there for the upgrade.

To clear the notification on the screen, find the alert message in your main folder, read or delete it.

  • Unknown status of blackBerry Smartphones

I have a BlackBerry Storm and I do not know what you the how to display status indicators. At the top, in the Middle, under the date and time, I have a 5 (this number was originally a 1, but it has now been incrementing for awhile), followed by a blue square. To inside the blue box is what looks like a tiny white f (sometimes looks like a small t with a red & white on circle to the right - there's a f, with a red circle that covers the top of the page offer of right of the letter).

I looked in the manual online and updated road guide and do not see anything like that. I called Verizon tech support, and they have no idea what it is. Please note: this isn't an indicator of an e-mail, voicemail, SMS, etc - I know not what they are, and this isn't one of them.

    Thank you very much

  • Unknown status indicator on the homepage blackBerry Smartphones

Does anyone know what means the status indicator that resembles a smiling face with a red star on a look? He is the number 1 beside him. I know this means I have a kind of new message (or something) but no idea what or where.

You find the icon for Yahoo or AOL and click on it. Look in any folder of applications, Instant Messaging folder or where ever. Look for BlackBerry Messenger too. Look for an icon with this same red asterisk indicating a new message.

Could you hide it?  On your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL although SHOW EVERYTHING checked and look brand new.

  • Hardware acceleration of unknown status

    Hi all

    I have the strange situation:

I am using vCenter server + virtual environment LabManager. Recently, all the infrastructure has been upgraded to version 4.1.

So far as I understand my ESX hosts could now use command VAAI to SAN storage. I did not disable VAAI support:

    # vmware - v
    VMware ESX 4.1.0 build-348481

    # esxcfg - advcfg - g/DataMover/HardwareAcceleratedMove
    Value of HardwareAcceleratedMove is 1
    # esxcfg - advcfg - g/DataMover/HardwareAcceleratedInit
    Value of HardwareAcceleratedInit is 1
    # esxcfg - advcfg - g/VMFS3/HardwareAcceleratedLocking
    Value of HardwareAcceleratedLocking is 1

But the status of "Hardware Acceleration" in the storage of the ESX configuration is still not changed:

    HW_Acceleration.jpg

I tried to copy the vmdk/place via interface ESX VMs files cloned... as it was written in the FAQ of vmware , but nothing happens.

Someone at - it ideas? Just trying to understand why I have this kind of behavior.

    Hello.

Note: This discussion has moved from the community of VMware ESX 4 to VMware vSphere storage community.

Weird - the operations you have performed should have updated status.  This came recently and the solution was a restart of the host.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unknown status indicator - nobody knows what it is!

I have this weird icon on my "BOLD" coming on the screen during a phone call.  It is in the top right of the screen and is quite large.  It's a rectangle with signs of more than 5 or 6 aligned diagonally inside the box.  Below is my attempt to get it.  No ONE knows what it is.  Not Rogers, RIM or anywhere on the internet. Help, please!  Also, I should point out that when I turn the speaker, the icon disappears.
