Unnecessary documentation. Community help needed w / upgrade
I'm trying to upgrade the stand-alone version of w bpel process manager / jdeveloper for the 10.1.3.4.0 the 10.1.3.1.0 downloaded. Unfortunately, it's a quagmire as the instructions mention not all kinds of necessary information. I constantly have to go on google and search for default passwords and names and what are databases bpel installs Oracle lite and discover as I need to use msql instead of sqlplus which none are covered from anywhere in the instructions.I downloaded a patch near 800 MB because he claims the bpel information is included, but when I run the Setup it says that my product is up-to-date. When I search bpel in the massive installation guide I see told me to run a sql script. After visiting several sites of google to find the login screen and the name of user and password / sid of the database installed bpel (not in the instructions tyvm) I get and run the script and it full well. I restart the computer, since I can't figure out how to restart or shut down the instance (shutdown does not work) and I try to run beats the file to start the bpel, so I can finally go back and test the creditreportingservice application and it does not start correctly.
I'm sure I did something in the upgrade is bad, but I am at a loss to understand what these instructions are terrible. The irony is that I used to write the documentation of lockheed on how to patch oracles for OAS/Oracle and convert them into instructions that normal people could follow (for customers, etc.) and I can't understand such things all bpel. At least with the OAS/ODB stuff, you know the user name / instance etc. Apparently, oracle decided that was not necessary for bpel and you're just supposed to randomly guess or google for it.
I would really appreciate help with the process appropriate for the installation of default bpel to upgrade to the current version so that I can work through the examples.
Thank you for your time - I wish that oracle had done their job, so I would not have had to deal with it.

I have the same setup as yours. Installation under Windows, SOA 10.1.3.1.0 base and upgrade 10.1.3.4.0
I tried a couple of times to do right. . I have successfully completed a tutorial, if everything seems OK on SOA10.1.3.4.0.
One thing might be different from yours, mine was a new install 10.1.3.1.0 vs yours perhaps your data in SOA 10.1.3.1.0.
Otherwise, I would recommend that SOA to uninstall and reinstall by following the oracle documentation:

In the first attempt, I got the problem to understand how to operate CSIS upgr stated in 2) and found the note 74356.1 . then the installer hanging for subscription 10.1.3.4.0 SOA 10.1.3.4 update hung I had to uninstall SOA because the installer can reinstall not 10.1.3.4.0 with 10.1.3.4 information loaded into the inventory of the oracle that was my first attempt.
I have deintalled SOA; reintalled 10.1.3.1. and improved to 10.1.3.4.0 without any problem.
If you could not uninstall the SOA because of you gave in 10.1.3.1, you may need to look at the inventory to see if you can remove 10.1.3.4 info here. You should make a backup of the inventory before moving forward. You may be able to find some notes related to manipulations of the inventory. I had done the same in the past and couldn't remember what were those notes.

Because I would upgrade PowerShell first PowerCLI is based on PowerShell. Although I don't know if it's important.
ESX 4.1 is not mentioned in the VMware vSphere PowerCLI 5.1 Release 1 Release Notes. This means that it is not supported. In this case, you can better keep PowerCLI 5.0. Or upgrade to PowerCLI 5.0.1 you can download from http://www.vmware.com/downloads/download.do?downloadGroup=PCLI501.

Satellite 4090XCDT - Memory Upgrade help needed

I own a Toshiba Satellite 4090 XCDT notebook and it came originally with windows 98SE and 64 MB of ram, but I installed Windows 2000 pro and I need to upgrade the memory, I did some Google research on the specs of this laptop and found that this machine is capable of 192 MB of ram , but there is one memory slot, how is possible to get this upgrade when require sticks of memory 128 + 64 = 192 MB, that would mean I'd need two memory sticks to reach the range of 192 MB, from what I see here is therefore the only memory of memory bank.
Could someone please point me in the right direction and provide me a solution to my problem, any help will be greatly appreciated.

When the memory is empty, the amount of memory is reported?
If its 64 MB, then you simply install a 128 MB module to achieve 192 MB

In recent years, I also use A300 and have very good experiences with this machine. To be honest, I was not satisfied with the original version of Vista.
I did follow the steps:
-I ve upgraded RAM
-I ve bought 265 GB SSDS
- and last step was the installation of Windows 7.Trust me, machine works like a rocket. Windows 7 is fully supported and all the drivers, tools and utilities, you can find and download from Toshiba download page - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

Just got a laptop A100-596 & guard lock up on me. I think I need to upgrade the memory because it has only 512 MB.
Question is what should I? I know that RAM DDR2 (533 MHz) but what voltage. The news of the Toshiba site do not help much, & scan critical system does not list the laptop model.

The tension is not very important.

The laptop supports FSB 533 Mhz and so there is no sense to upgrade the memory with a 667 Mhz modules.
So take the PC2 - 4200 SODIMM 200-PIN and you're on the side course ;)

You cannot transfer the operating system from one hard disk to another. But you can use the backup utility to backup data and restore it on the new hard drive.

OK, I apologize for leaving out the most important step. Click Start > Control Panel > user accounts > your username. Now, follow the steps above. If you can't see all these options for the account, then you don't have administrative privileges and cannot perform the changes, unless you are on an account that has administrator privileges. You will need to do one of two things. First and easiest, are to ask someone with administrator rights to make the changes for you. Second, you can restart the computer in safe mode. When you are prompted to choose an account to log on to Windows, choose the administrator account (it is the default Administrator account and is only available in safe mode). Then, go to control panel > user accounts > username > change account type > account with Admin rights.

December 2012, I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro XI for my Mac Book Pro. A month ago, I got a notice my Adobe Acrobat was a trial version and I need to upgrade. My Adobe Acrobat stops working. I had no choice, because I was in the middle of a big project. Yesterday, I bought the DC Adobe Acrobat Pro for $215.00 plus tax.
(1.) download says it's the classic version despite my order confirmation with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
(2.) the installed product would not allow access to my stored documents.
3. the installed product deleted each watermark on all my documents.
4.) and there is no way to get help unless the poster on a forum?

2.), I made a mistake. We could open the stored project documents but not to make changes. The password for the project/documents stored was no longer valid after the upgrade.
(3.) the watermarks have been added on top of Word documents using Adobe Acrppobat Pro XI. some watermarks had to be cleared up, but they could not be changed after the upgrade. In addition, the entire project was wiped clean of watermarks. We had to start from scratch, add watermarks, again: "Property of Swedish Colonial Society", etc. Some watermarks were on the face of the Word document and some were in right margin
