updated 64-bit

I received an update from Toshiba disc and installed a 32-bit version of Windows 7. I wish now that I had installed the 64-bit version, which was also included. I JUST CAN'T INSTALL or NEEDS to FIRST REMOVE 32BITS VERSION. ALSO I HAVE BAD TO ACTIVATE THE 64-BIT VERSION

Windows Update has nothing to with the upgrade of Windows. Please post future questions about the upgrade in this forum: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7install/threads

    Hello guys.
I need to update my bios A350D PSAKCE. But I don't know what is the difference between Windows_BIOS_Package_V330_1 and Windows_BIOS_Package64_V330_1. Who should I install? I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit edition.

    Hello

Usually, you should get no serious problems if you would downgrade the operating system to 32-bit and will always use the 64-bit BIOS. But in some rare cases, a few features like buttons FN or similar would not work very well
It would also be possible that only 3.2 GB of RAM would be recognized due to the limitation of the 32 bit OS

So in your case, I would stay with 64 bit OS.

Hey guys! I encountered a problem, I have a desktop HP Pavilion HPE PC h9-1130 Phoenix but I guess I could say HAD one. I changed the GPU for a Nvidia GTX 760, put a H80 Corsair on the CPU to keep cooler and quieter while game, replaced the ram with 16 gb GSKILL 1600 mhz Ripjaws X and I changed the case for a larger case of Rosewill supplies HP one given 1 exhaust which to be honest is not that great when it is exhausting all the warmth of an AMD system based. BUT anyway, I've upgraded to Windows 8.1 a few weeks ago because he said that I could update. I had this problem, even when I got Windows 7 64 bit, where some games like Borderlands 2 or Dead Island: Riptide will be unplayable as he would go from 100 + fps for a unplayable 10-15 fps what constant stuttering, I tried everything BUT an update of the Bios for the motherboard. I can't find one for my motherboard for some reason any. Could someone help me to find one? I've looked everywhere, honestly, it's a last resort. N °

  • Lock keyboard and mouse or never dies updated 64-bit logic

I recently updated my computer to Windows 7 32 bit, Windows 64-bit. Continues to feel something strange. My mouse and keyboard blocking either upward or right dies. I tried to dust off my PC, I tried to reinstall the drivers, the search for new drivers, even reformatting the PC, but nothing works. I was told that there could be something stopping electricity to travel on my USB slots, I find this doubtful however. As I've said a few times they simply to lock, the red light of my still shines laser mouse and my keyboard lights also light up. If I reconnect to another USB port, sometimes they work. The pc makes the little noise that when something is connected. It is even said that it installs the drivers... There is a 50% chance of it remains nonfunctonal or he started working for a while yet. Sometimes it's just one or the other who turns off, it is not always both at the same time. I also tried connecting USB keys and a portable hard drive USB slots that malfunctoned to see what is happening. They get registered very well, but if I try to put the mouse and keyboard in his place, I get no such results until I restart.

    Hello

    (1) did you check connect the keyboard and mouse to another computer?

    (2) what is the number of brands and models of mouse and keyboard?

    Method 1:
I suggest you to run the fixit and check if it helps.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/en-us

    Method 2:
I suggest to start the computer in Mode safe mode with network and check whether you are faced with the same question. If the problem does not occur in Mode safe mode with networking you perform the clean boot to find what service or startup item is causing the problem.

    Step 1:
Restart your computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

If it works fine in safe mode try performing a clean boot in order to find the cause root.
    Step 2:
If the issue happen not in Mode safe mode with networking, try to set up your computer in a clean boot state and check to see if the same problem happens.
By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

  • updated 32-bit and 64-bit Photoshop

    Hello

Today, I use 32-bit photoshop in addition to 64-bit because some features are not available in 64-bit.

To December 18 photoshop downloaded the update to 12.0.3 and installed.

The 32-bit version of photoshop that I installed today is just the version 12.0. How can I update? The program told me that it is not updated.

I tried the manual update, but it failed.

    What should I do?

    Sincerely,

    RazooN

You will need to uninstall properly and possibly manually remove the databases (records OOBE, caps.db), and then reinstall from scratch. This is a limitation in how signatures updates apply to a 'product', not two separate versions of the same product. Yet, shouldn't be too complicated. CS5 installers are fast enough...

  • Bios update 64-bit for the Compact Dx2300 HP version 1.14 Rev microtour format. December 18, 2008

I Dx2300 minitour, I can't use my Ram full I installed 4 GB of RAM and I can use that 3.25 GB of RAM and 770MB is material booked but I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and external graphics card 'GIGABYTE AMD R7 250 2 GB OC'...

In other forums they say its because of internal GPU which uses the RAM as VRAM and it can be disabled in the BIOS...

I found the guide on this motherboard, there must be this option in bios

MAX DVMT Allocation specify memory DVMT/system to allocate video memory size:
    ● 64 MB
    ● 128 MB
    ● 224 MB

But in my Bios Thats the only Option missing...

I can't change my OS just for 32 bit version bios I need 64-bit please help me...

If you have an add on the graphics card, external reserved yet some system memory.

Indeed, sometimes the memory more than you add, reserves as an add on the graphics card.

The internal is disabled, so it should not use memory.

  • Updated 32-bit Windows to 64-bit?

A Microsoft plan to leave in place upgrades from 32-bit versions of Windows for 64-bit versions? Or a release of a version of a Transfer Wizard that runs from 32 to 64-bit?

I see a place in upgrade is currently unavailable and a clean installation must be done. But what bothers me the most, is that even the "files and Settings Transfer Wizard" that is supposed to allow you to transfer your files and setting from an old computer to a new computer do not work if your old computer is a 32-bit version and that your new computer is a 64-bit version.

Come on Microsoft. Ask yourself why customers complain about your new versions of the software. How about lack of support and convenience.

  • updated 32-bit to 64-bit vista if I can use the extra ram for FSX. but many download problems.

    Hello

I'm a nut FSX but have very IT limited knowledge. I wanted to achieve the best result for FSX (this 2 me not a game cos I can afford is more to fly the flat light where I 300hours and noticed a true likeness in fsx to plans I stole) so I bought the new PC i7/920 call t0 3.6 ghz. NVIDIA gtx285. 6 GB/ram/166 corsair.and installs 3 x monitor @22 inch with TrackIR 5.I thought I was going to enter Heaven FSX. However majority or all of the FSX CD I my system 32 bits do not appear in the installation of 100%. I appreciate the new way of loading FSX in 64-bit is different from 32-bit, etc.. My main complaint is I lose my GPS function on mission downloads and it's not good. I understand there is a way to increase the use of the ram for 32-bit (works 100%) where there has never been a problem, but seems very complicated. I currently use the resolution of 1980 but 3 screen in place will be allowed to 1680 etc.. HOW can I REACH 100% DOWNLOAD WITH 64 BIT as I can with 32 bits, which is limited to 3 GB of ram. Any FSX readers in addition to my download problems, what I need to have an incredible fast pc including 4 times cheaper than my cp very dear son. FSX is super super smooth with cadence to the max

    Hey booleyz,

Vista 64 bit is compatible with the game and you should get all the functions. When you download missions and if missing the GPS function, imply that there are no required files on the PC for the game. I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the game once and see if it works.

You can also try to reduce the graphic details in the game Options.

Here is a link I found that contains information about this:

  • Updated 32-bit to 64-bit.

It's my second HP Pavilion v9000. My first one was Windows Vista, I'm guessing that 32-bit. My motherboard gave out so I bought the PC the same b/c my other has a new hard drive, screen, keyboard and a system to windows vista recovery disc, (I used my warranty before the first PC totally gave out so I use it now for parts).  This new (refurbished) PC comes with windows 7, 64 bit. No disk Windows 7, but I have a flash drive with windows on it and the product key. I tried to download explorer 9 and it didn't download right and the PC was a mess. I had to use the vista recovery disc just to get this new right, but now it says I have 32 bit and I can not upgrade to windows 7. Since this PC came with windows 7, 64 bit, is anyway to get it back this way again? A I mess up using a system recovery windows vista disk? I now have SP2. Any advice would help :)

    Hi Lilly24,

You kind of messed up I'm afraid. You cannot 'upgrade' FRO a 32-bit system to a 64-bit system, you need to do a "clean" of the operating system installation. From your description it sounds like everything that you bought was the 'base '. You say that you already had the keyboard, screen, etc. from your old machine. As the "base" came with Windows 7 64 bits already installed, then you should (check your manual) created the recovery for this computer disk. PC makers put a restore partition hidden on the disk hard so that you can recover if you have problems. However, as you have used windows vista recovery discs the chances are that the recovery partition has been crushed. Your only option, either sticvk with Vista 32-bit, or buy another copy of Windows 7 64-bit. You might try the PC manufacturer to see if they can provide recovery disks, but these can be in excess of £50 or so according to the manufacturers. Of course, if you did drive recovery for windows 7, you must use those to restore your system. Check to see how to recover your system in the supplied with your PC user's guide. If you have not one try the manufacturer's Web site, you can usually download a manual from here.

  • Updated 32-bit to 64-bit of Windows 8

Hello.  I recently upgraded a laptop running XP and bought a Windows 8 Pro Upgrade and the product key.  Everything went well and the operating system installed, but I want to use the 64 bit version of Windows.  I have a physical copy of the disk to a complete Windows 8 Pro to a desktop build I did a year ago.  My questions are:

    (1) can I use the installation of 64-bit physical disc I have to reinstall Windows, even if this copy is currently active on another computer?

    (2) if so, I know I have to do a clean install.  My upgrade product key works to activate Windows after reinstall it?  Given that this key is already active on the laptop that I would like to be reinstalling Windows, should I deactivate Windows first?  Basically, is it possible to re-use the product key of my upgrade to reauthorize the computer once the reinstallation completed?

If you plan to use the license (product key) to another computer, you must ensure that is no longer running on the other computer. This means, you must format the other computer or consider buying a new license after having migrated to Windows 8 Pro 64 bit on the new computer.

    Thanks for the help!
