I have BlackBerry 9550 storm 2 it show SMS shows no MMS. Also click BackBerry Word for update, I click on update of this message came up to the top: BlackBerry Word is hurting the BlackBerry server connection. Check your network connection and try again. I have 5 bars for my ATT & T provider. Which is unlock this phone. And when I put the slim card and the battery, it never occurred to register for BlackBerry ID. I can't find any to get ID I need help please to solve these problems. contact me thank you [personal information]

    Using the same e-mail is not an error, but you must have wiped your old appliance before putting it back.

    You have a few things in there, but I'll start with this. These forums are not a formal support of the RIM channel. They are rather a user forum where volunteers try to troubleshoot other kind souls at best. Therefore, what you get here is in no way part of your official support (which you can get from your wireless service provider that can degenerate officially your case in RIM if necessary).

    Accurate and complete error messages are always better... There are some things to look for, but no research is effective without the specific error message, including any punctuation.

  • URGENT blackBerry Smartphones: liquid brand damage on the screen. Pls help!

    I got a new BlackBerry Curve 8520 about a month ago. Today when I rushed to the office, I noticed that there are a liquid dark mark on the middle of the screen. I thought that it would be maybe the screen guard and I removed the screen protector. Unfortunately, I can see this mark still on the screen. When I touch the screen, it moves like a bubble of water on a surface plastic.

    I would appreciate if anyone can suggest me what could be the reason and opportunity to remedy.

    It could very well get damaged in your bag. Quite easily if theres hard objects in their. LCDS (Liquid Cyrstal views), where they have liquid crystals in them. A damaged screen could do it as your description.

    Do you use a case for your phone? This would help to protect the screen. I would take your dealer the nearest phone to see if the screen is indeed broken. you say that the phone is a month. It could very well still under warranty.

  • URGENT blackBerry Smartphones: phone does not start after update (21/05/2009)

    As indicated in the title, my phone does not after that I updated last night. He mentioned that he will not be able to make any calls or anything for the next 2 hours, but after the time of 2 hours, it seems to fail during startup.

    At first, I thought it was battery problem that the screen is not actually light up and so I charge my phone. So I just realized even during the loading, the bright red light (LED) Dungeon blinks from time to time. I look closely at the screen and you can vaguely see the logo of loading.

    It is, he does not meet one of the buttons. None of them activate the backlight on the Dungeon of the flashing display vaguely similar to when I first pluged load.

    I suspect that's not supported properly.

    You can not. Do not forget that you are using a BlackBerry smartphone and not a lower mark. If you can easily reset the password, so someone else could.

    You maybe just bite the bullet on this one. I just hope you did a backup of the data with BlackBerry Desktop Software and/or BlackBerry Protect.

    Automatically move e-mail messages to a different folder is available only when you're using BlackBerry® Enterprise Server.  Messages will be filtered on the mail server but would appear in these folders on the BlackBerry® smartphone.

    Since you just upgraded it, please try to remove instead and then reinstalling BBM fresh and clean. Make sure you first backup (locally) your contacts:

    Personally, NEVER above the Air software update .the are a few suggestions for restore you your device from this situation:

    There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

    One:

    • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
    • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
    • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
    • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

    Second:

    • Start your BlackBerry in safe mode.  Article ID: KB17877 how to start a mode BlackBerry smartphone without failurehttp://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17877
    • Connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software and allow handheld to connect. If you are prompted to update, cancel the upgrade for later.

    • Go to device > delete > SELECT DATA > select this option to remove the Social flow and smart card data bases and follow the rest invites you to complete.

    There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

    Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

    The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

    I can easily open the file history through Excel on my laptop, but I can't open the backup files, and it is these conversations that I need.

    I have a storm2 9520 model and I have been enjoy up to 3 weeks ago, it began to hit up after 2-3mins called. If a friend told me ITI might be the software problem that I must use security wipe top, which i did.now I do not see some of my bb as the map icon and email icons, and also I lost my documents to go that too.i open process my application list and I saw the card application and email it but I do not see the desktop. Now my question is:

    (1) I will be able to receive and send an email if I activate my bb service again?

    (2) where and how can I retrieve my documents to go abck installed on my device?

    (3) what can I do to stop my camera hitting upward after that 2-3mins call or do I have to get a new battery for it?

    I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning.     Then, you may need to reinstall the missing applications that have been removed by the WIPE:
