USB2.0 uvc webcam hd - command manual?
Odd question perhaps, day 4 old ASUS laptop with Windows 7, works perfectly. Too perfect, is there a way I can disable the usb 2.0 uvc hd webcam? I continue to go to the Control Panel, then system, then Manager of devices, and imaging devices, and bingo, it is my perfectly built in usb camera works very well so I have 'disable' but every time that I reboot, possibly without restarting, can not tell yet, it is "activated" again. Without my permission, the system seems to switch on "ON" but I want to 'OFF', unless I decide to reactivate it, if and when.
I checked, and some programs seem to have access to my camera all the time. I don't like it and wish him off until I'll use actually, you know as with ALL my paintings on etc. I want it out otherwise, and I can't keep.
Can anyone help?
I thought to uninstall the drivers, but I don't want to take the risk of damaging the camera, I like, but not when it is all the time.
Mike

Satellite U500 - USB2.0 UVC webcam no longer works
Hello
I just upgraded my Skype to the latest version and now my integrated webcam usb2.0 UVC does more work. In fact, she seems to light (blue light that appears next to it on my screen) but the image is black with a grey circle search turning in the middle.
My PC is a Satellite U500-1DZ.
To be honest, not been use my webcam for 3 months before that, but the last time worked perfectly with the old version of SkypeAt the same time, my Council of Toshiba Tempro update me my driver my BIOS and display
I tried to do this several times but it doesn't work.
For the BIOS, I'm just able to download 44% of it, and then it just stops. Same with the display driver. These 2 problems could be related?
What can I do?Thanks in advance for your help and response
It is not easy to say what the problem is here, but what you can try is to reinstall the software of the webcam of the Toshiba download page and check again.
If there is no problem with your laptop, in my view, there is no reason for updates, including BIOS update.
Anyway, the latest versions, you can find on Toshiba download page - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
Check it out. -

How to insert entire atg command manually via the sql DB script?
Hello group,
I have the obligation to insert command entire atg in db for purposes of unit testing.
I appreciate if someone can help me in this.
Thanks in advance,
Satya.
Hi Satya,
What is the purpose of import new orders in db,
Are to be tested and you large orders need as samples.
I think that the table of patterns is not updated because
(1) u could have used commerceItemId Similarly, if no new trade item will be created.
(2) u could have changed its trade item id, this Id might not be present in the database, so at the time of importation not found this element in the repository, so left this area under vacuum in order of db.
If you want to add new item of commerce id in the order, you will first need to create it.
To create the sql or xml command, you need the following minimum elements:
(1) item trade
(2) profile id
(3) certain relationships
Now, after this conversation, I start thinking it's a good idea to create the command through automated scripts.

Webcam does not. View "locked by another application."
Hello. I own a Toshiba Satellite L500D - ST2532 Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I'm having a problem with my webcam that everytime I try using yahoo messenger, a pop-up comes up and it gives me a drop down menu to the choice of the webcam to use (only one "USB2.0 UVC webcam") and then you can either click on 'ok', 'Cancel' or 'apply '. Cancel or apply can be clicked countless times and nothing happens. If you click 'ok' then the same dialog box appears and you click 'ok' and the window that would have normally your face in there for yahoo messenger webcam has a message that says "Sorry, no webcam was found on the computer" and a smaller dialog box that says: 'error' as the name of the box, then the box says "the webcam is not connected. I tried to open the webcam with toshiba software and an error message of "device is locked by another application". The only software that works is face recognition software. My webcam has worked before and I read another forum that other users have had the same problem but with windows vista and I still find any forum for windows 7 users. If I could have some information on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi MajorWaters
Try the next step. The problem should be solved:
Control Panel > system > Device Manager. GOTO imaging devices and right-click on the device (for example the Chicony USB 2.0 Camera) and choose "update driver software".
Best regards and thank you

My built-in webcam does not work on new Skype
Hello everyone
A few months ago, I updated my Skype. On the updated version, I couldn't use my webcam (USB2.0 uvc vga webcam on ASUS x52f, windows 7). I asked Google to solution and I got it: we will install an older version of Skype.
I did and the problem was solved.
Now that Skype blackmailed me to download the latest version (6.18.60.105) the problem is on again once. And the solution (installing a previous version) is no longer relevant.
I installed the new K-light codec pack. Still nothing.
I uninstalled and reinstalled my camera and drivers. Still nothing.
So the question is: How do I get my built-in Skype new and brilliant camera work?
Thanks for the replies!
Robert
Uninstall the version 6.18 and install Skype 6.14.0.104 version:

Hello Joanna,
Because this webcam is internal to the laptop, it would be better to contact Asus on this issue, because they know more about the way in which the laptop is built.

Webcam on Satellite U500-17 x only shows black photo
Hello
I bought a portable 17 U500 x about a month ago. I'm on Win7 64 bit version that came with the pc.
The webcam worked perfectly in the early days. Then I didn t use it for awhile and now it only shows black picture on webcam of Toshiba, msn or Skype software, all have the same problem.
I didn't change any setting of the device. they have all of the default settings. The blue led on the side of the camera turns on but only a black screen.
If I use the software Toshiba cam and try to take a picture it says "failed to capture the photo.
On "Device Manager", the tab for imaging devices shows usb 2.0 uvc webcam without error and with the updated drivers. I get no error at startup or when opening the cam applications.I got drivers win7 European Toshiba webcam website "20091112111752" and them again after uninstalling the cam Toshiba Software I had installed. Also reinstalled the device of face recognition.
The problem persists...Any idea?
Best regards
Hi Costa
It is not easy to say what the problem is here. All that you have done is just but I think it's time for a more radical, but also more effective solution (test). Reinstall the operating system and test the features of cam with the factory settings.
It should work again. If it's not... maybe service?

Portege R600-108 - the tool to run the TRIM command to improve the performance of SSDS
Hello
We have a couple of R600-108 with SSDS, they run Vista Business 32-bit.
I was wondering if there is a utility I can download to run the TRIM command on drives to improve performance?
Thank you
James
Hello
To be honest I m not an expert in the increase in performance of the SSD, but according to the Wikipedia article, TRIM has been implemented in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 and came out with the final versions of these operating systems in October 2009.
It seems former SSD drives have firmware updates, otherwise the new command will be ignored.According to Wikipedia, there are utilities that can send TRIM commands manually.
These utilities are available from various manufacturers such as Intel or G.Skill.
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/trimYou can consult the Intel tool called "Intel Solid - State Drive Toolbox and Optimizer".
http://download.Intel.com/support/SSDC/hpssd/SB/intel_ssd_toolbox_fqa.PDFI hope this helps a little

Hi guys,.
I want to send orders from SCPI in BT in order to communicate with Agilent B2901 make the pulse of sweep.
I have already read the Agilent 2900 SCPI command manual and find the Figure 2-2 is what I want. But I'm not sure that all the commands I've written is nessary?
In addition, I don't know how I can check my orders or not is fair? Spy NOR can help, but I don't know how he's going to work.
Thank you
Agilent has provided the list of commands. Ask them if they provided a blacklist. Place orders. If the measure does not work, these commands are needed.
Please enjoy your troubleshooting basic skills and knowledge of the communication of the instrument. You can send a command and display menus of instrument to see if it has changed as expected. You can issue the query error after each order or more.

Grid Version: 11.2.0.3
OS: RHEL 5.8
I have correctly installed cluster (GI) and RDBMS software installed on my RAC 2 nodes. But I don't want to use dbca to create the database because of some custom conditions. Instead, I want to run the CREATE DATABASE command manually to create the DB JAR.
As soon as the DB is created in a single node, what are the steps I need to do to ensure that this DB DB CARS?
James_P wrote:
Thanks Billy
Abort DBCA after the scripts have been created.
I hope oracle will allow me to generate the scripts without actually launch creation of DB. But this isn't the case. On the screen last dbca where you check "Generate scripts", you must press the button 'Finish' which actually initiate the creation of DB. Abandonment of the creation of the DB don't seems to be neat.
You do not deselect the check box 'create database '.
