Using Samples of batteries

Hello!

So I had a quick question-

If I wanted to use a kit of drum samples, how I'll go on using that at the hearing? I can't seem to find a setting of MIDI instrument or sequencer like other DAWs, I worked with. Any help would be appreciated; Thank you!

Hearing is not a built in abilities noon at all - it majors is an audio editor.

(An earlier version of hearing... Aa3... had a very simple MIDI implementation, but this has been removed from future versions as necessary development time to make it a complete MIDI sequencer would have taken away from more important things.)

I use C for XNET "FD CAN Frame Input Stream" samples where I put the valid values of "nxPropSession_IntfCanFdBaudRate" between 1000000-8000000. (according to http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/372840k.pdf#page=983)

    I am getting following error

NOR-XNET status: NOR-XNET: baud rate (Hex 0x3FF63040) The FD CAN you provided is beyond the capability of the manufacturer of the specified transmitter/receiver. In our internal testing, we found this baud rate to run, but bus errors may be detected or generated during communication. See the Presentation of the material NOR-XNET CAN section in the software and manual equipment OR XNET for more information.

I have a loop back configuration with a PCI card with 2 ports.

It is a warning and not an error to inform you that you may be exceeding the capacity of the physical hardware. While the FD CAN protocol supports very fast transfer speeds, none of the manufacturers transcevier still created talkies that they ensure that all transfer speeds. Talk to them, the number one problem was do an EMC low enough to run in the vehicles. They tend to be actually able to follow the signaling rate.

Therefore, we allow you to use NOR-XNET to communicate to a wide range of transmission speeds, but sound you the alarm if you are exceeding the rates allowed by the manufacturer. For most use cases, this can be ignored safetly.

FYI, what baud rate you try to run to?

  • My Magic Trackpad guard unload its batteries

My Magic Trackpad (21.5-inch iMac) has worked well since I got about five months ago.  Recently, I received a warning of battery low so I changed the batteries.  The replacement pair lasted only a few days before I had to change again.  When I started the computer yesterday it could not connect to the trackpad at all.  Once more, I changed the batteries and it connected correctly.  Now I get another warning of low battery after only a day of average use.  Replacement batteries were of two different packs.  I'm starting to think that the trackpad is faulty, but before starting down the road of guaranteed repair is there anything else I should look at?

  • Synchronization of analog and digital output with the external sample clock

    Hello

First of all sorry for my English, I will try to explain what I want to do.

I want my PCIe-6321 to send two custom signals (modification sawtooths) on a mirror controller. I would also like to generate output with my card at the beginning of each tooth of saw. Everything must be synchronized with an external k-clock signal of 100 kHz. The idea is that whenever the PCI receives a trigger to external clock, it sends two analog output voltages and when he received 1024 clock ticks it will also send a pic of triggering TTL. What I do is first prepare the map and after that in a loop sending and modifing the output values of the two signals and at the same time send a digital signal Boolean in each arch, so when's done it 1024 iterations of the loop I send an event to the digital port. Attached you can see.

The problem is that I don't know how to synchronize both. Can I use the sample clock just to the analog output? I can use sample for the two outputs clock, or do I need to use the output of the meter? If don't know how to use it here.

If I do nothing else bad/wrong, I would be grateful for feedback.

    Thanks in advance,
    Pablo

I don't know how but I find the solution. I'm generating more than a positive value (as I was triggered maybe very fast the oscilloscope has been absent there). If I put the sample clock of digital output to use the sampling/ao/Dev1 clock that it doesn't, but if I put to use the same source as the OD (terminal where my external clock is connected), but the trigger to start the DO to be Dev1/ao/StartTrigger this works. I don't really know why, but it does.

Thank you for your patience and your help. I put here the final code.

  • With a sampling of the data with DAQMX, error-200279 occurs when making 2d array dbl

    Hello

I did a system of simple analog voltage with DAQMX data acquisition.

It is made for reading of capacitance, where output capacitance value out of a circuit in the periodic voltage signal.

What I want is to get data from four capacitors simultaneously through four channels, using samples n n (dbl 2d).

The structure of my VI is almost similar with examples of continuous sampling of voltage in LabView, with the exception of a few other calculations in the loop.

And for the synchronization of the trigger, I've corrected the edge of release with the external signal from the capacitance reading circuit.

Version no. 1 has a channel for data input voltage. Version n ° 2 has four channels for the input data.

While ver.1 can get accurate reading of four capacitors circuit data each (a single channel at a time),.

ver.2 acquires four channels of data, with a single thin data channel, all the others were wrong.

I saw a 200279 error occur in the DAQMX read part 2d dbl, so I tried increasing the buffers by changing the sampling frequency or the number of samples, but it wasn't everything.

I rose for most of the forums with the 200279 error, but the solution would not work on mine.

Anyone can find the problem? I will attach my screws it may include a bit of Korean language, but most of them are in English, shouldn't be too hard to recognize. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Oh I forgot, my DAQ is NI USB-6259, and it works in Win XP sp3 and LabView 8.6.

    Thank you.

    Hello Azurenight,

The 6259 is a DAQ card of the M Series Multiplexed, which means that it is not possible to sample each signal at the same instant, rather the channels are all sent through the ADC even and must be sampled in order. More information on this can be found here:

LabVIEW Help: Multiplexing compared with simultaneous sampling

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/370466W-01/mxcncpts/multisimulsamp/

It may still be possible to get the data you need with the card you have - could you give more information about the maximum eligible period between samples on different channels?

If you require * real * simultaneous sampling, you will probably need different hardware.

    Kind regards

  • Problem with the generation of multi-sinus wavefrom of random phase using PXI-5412

    Hello

I am trying to generate random phase multi-sine waveform using the PXI-5412 14 bits 100 M/s AWG on LabVIEW8.0.

The version of LabVIEW8.0 for the PXI-5412 comes with a sample VI on multi-tone waveform generation. When I tried with a different combination of frequency and amplitude, there is no problem with the sample VI.

Because I need the phase to be random for each frequency component, I had tore the tone cluster containing 3 elements, i.e. frequency, amplitude and phase, which feeds the generator of signals, and rebundle the cluster with elements of reading a CSV file by using a loop, a fixed value amplititude and a number of random phase of the frequency generated by a random number (formula lournies elements (: pi - 2pi x r). When the waveform multi-sinusoidale generated on the PXI-5112 100 MHz Digital Oscilloscope, it was pointed out that the waveform would change with the tested frequency range.  However, the amplitude of the wave is always ~1.4V (guess that's always default to 1 V x sqrt (2)).  There is no question also when testing the same combination of frequency and amplitude by using sample VI without modification.

Please find attached the VI of the sample, snatching up to the version and the CSV file I used. Is there something wrong with the table 1 d of the cluster of 3 elements that I built and assembled causing the signal generator to ignore the value of input amplitude and, possibly, the input value of the same phase (as it seems that the amplititude is always set to the default)?

The other question that I found on the two sample VI and ripped version is on the news of sampling.  The waveforms appear on digital Oscilloscope PXI-5112 always default to 10 cycles no matter how changed the sampling frequency and the number of samples.  For example, if the frequency is 10 Hz, sampling frequency is 1000 Hz, and I put the number of samples to 10000.  I'm supposed to get 10000/100 = 100 cycles.  However, I could see 10 cycles no matter how, I changed.  What should be the correct way to change the number of cycles?

Really appreiciate your help and advice. Thank you.

1 phase unit is in degrees (-180 to 180), no - pi pi.
2 standardize Waveform.vi always normalize your amplitude of the signal. You can remove it to use your desired amplitue, but must make sure that it is not above 5412 spec.

  • Storage of samples of several analog channels (life-long)

I use a USB6356 to read 5 analog channels (more digital input port A)) simultaneously until you press a stop button. The idea is to represent all the signals captured on a temporal scale after the acquisition.

I am convert and storage of the 2D array that is captured in each iteration of the loop in another 2D array in order to have an output of 5 table lines (one for each input signal).

However, Labview can not handle so much treatment in so short a time table (I think that the main bottleneck is the 2D Transpose VI table) and accidents very soon (I have to kill the entire process and restart Labview). Is there a better way to do this?

    See you soon

Your problem is that you have horrible memory management here.  Whenever you add in the table, more memory is allocated, then the table is copied.  You are basically out of memory.

    1. use samples of N, N channels, 1 table D of waveforms for your Read DAQmx

    2. change your chart to a chart and move it to be inside the loop.  Maintain chart, a story, so you can still see the X last samples on it (1024 by default).

    3. save your data in a file.  I recommend using the DAQmx configure connection before starting the task.  This allows the stream directly to a TDMS file for further processing.

  • Buffer size different sampling rate.

    Hello

I'm new to Labview and me has encountered a problem.

I did some measurements using two Renault and continuous type used samples. One device was NI 9239 and this one has a sampling frequency possible other than the size of buffer that I put. I put the size of the buffer of 3000 and the rate of possible samples of the device were 2941 and 3125.

From what I understand, this type (continuous type of samples) the size of the buffer is full and send it to the computer.

My question is this: my device sample rate is 3000 or 3125?

Why do you ask? You say that you know that a sampling rate of 3000 is not possible.

  • Maximum sample clock of PCIe 6537 ANSI C

I'm programming a card PCIe-6537 with ANSI C. The application uses sampling continuously, with a reminder to analyze the samples.

The maximum sampling frequency should be 50 000 000 samples/s. The internal sample clock is assumed to be 200 MHz/N where N > = 4.

    I can run to 40.000.000 samples/s (N = 5), but if I put the sample clock to 50,000,000 samples/s (N = 4), the callback is never called.

I created the task with the following calls.

    DAQmxCreateTask (TaskName.c_str (), & m_TaskHandle);

    I calculate $thisline = ' Dev1/portX/BEHLULI for X = Y = 0.7 and 0.3 and I call for each

    DAQmxCreateDIChan (m_TaskHandle, ThisLine.c_str (), "", DAQmx_Val_ChanPerLine);

Then I put in place of the sample clock.  It works:

    DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming (m_TaskHandle, NULL,
    40000000, DAQmx_Val_Rising, DAQmx_Val_ContSamps, 16000000
    );

    It's not:

    DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming (m_TaskHandle, NULL,
    50000000, DAQmx_Val_Rising, DAQmx_Val_ContSamps, 16000000
    );

    I save the callback so:

    () DAQmxRegisterEveryNSamplesEvent
    m_TaskHandle,
    DAQmx_Val_Acquired_Into_Buffer,
    4000000,
    0,
    NI6537_EveryNSamplesCallback,
    This
    ) ;

The callback increments an integer that came out when I end the program by pressing ESC.

Y at - there a trick to getting the sample clock to work at the rate increase? Or it is limited by the PC somehow, so that the callback just won't happen to 50Ms/s?

    Frank

    Frank,

You can check and make sure that the BIOS of your PC has been updated to the latest revision.  This can have an effect on the maximum transfer speed on PCI Express.

There are some cases (depending on the maximum packet size allowed by the chipset of your computer) where a PCIe-6537 cannot acquire 32 channels of data at 50 MHz.  It's strictly a limitation of the PC.  If your BIOS is up to date and it still does not work, you can try your code with the PCIe-6537 on a newer computer?

  • How constantly sample meter signal for quadrature linear encoder

    Hi all

Trying to permanently change value of Schneeberger linear encoder quadrature at certain frequency as 10 Hz of the sample and the output to the text file. Everything I choose in the external clock that I can't run the DAQ assistant. No one knows how to fix? I don't know what kind of clock can be used.

I have read a few replies that ppl would connect to an another sample clock in parallel with the meter channel. But I don't know what is the principle of operation of this method.

I spent already as 10hours on it. Could someone tell me that some information?

Looking forwad to your help! Thank you very much!

    Best regards

    George

    Hi George,.

You'll want to use the DAQmx API rather than the DAQ Assistant.

The task of the encoder itself would look like this.  You need not use the trigger options.

The problem is that you will need to generate a clock from another source that the card is unable to generate examples of clock counter directly.  The simplest is probably to use the second counter.  Here is an example showing how to use a meter to output as a sample clock (although the example shows the analog inputs, simply replace the task of analog input with the task of the encoder shown in the previous example, I linked).

So, you would use a counter (say ctr0) for the task of the encoder, and then the other (ctr1) meter for the generation of sample clock.  You must specify your task of encoder using the InternalOutput of ctr1 as the sample clock (if the internal counter output appear in the drop-down menu, click with the right button on the terminal and select the e/s name filtering > include Advanced terminals).  Start the encoder task before the output task (although given that both are running continuous it doesn't really matter that much).

In addition, 10 Hz is not too fast.  If the exact date is not as important and the above seems a little overwhelming, it might be easier for you to just run a loop of 100ms clocked by the software from example like this.  Note that the exact time loop pourrait will vary from cycle to cycle, so this method is not very good if you use sampled data to perform calculations of rates.

  • 3rd party on VIXIA batteries

I ordered an extra battery with my VIXIA HFG10 because it is bundled with that does not last long enough.  However the extra battery, I received is a 3rd party battery and it will fit the camera, but it shows me a message that it can not communicate with the camera.  This means that I can't know how long I have the battery before recharging. Should I live with?  Or y at - it a firmware update that communicates with my spare battery.

    Thank you

    Hi stahld!

Welcome to the Forums of Canon and thanks for your inquiry! Canon does not support third-party batteries since Canon cannot control the quality of the battery which produce other companies. Our batteries are 'smart' batteries that communicate with your camcorder so that he knows exactly how cool is remaining. It seems that your third party battery does not support this communication, and maybe that's why the camera shows the error message. We recommend only using genuine Canon batteries for this reason and for the safety of you and your camcorder! Hello

You can get the battery checked as to his condition.

But as you use XP and if it's the original battery, I would say that it is past its date of use.

    Batteries wear out.

And for the reliability and the warranty on the battery, buy a new one from Sony.
