  At that time vcs is not that kind of password policy. but you can use LDAP to connect on VCS and LDAP, you can set the password policy.

  I know not if that would be accepted by the customer or not.

  Maybe someone else have an alternative workaround for this.

  Same thing here. Grayed. Windows 8.1 seems to fill the observer of events with many more errors than previous versions.

  Edit: OK, discovered why it is grayed out. There are 2 reg key, you must set permissions before going to the Configuration of DCOM in component services. The CLSID key and the APPID key.

  From another forum, although it applies to a different application, same principle:

  1. open Regedit.
  2. go in HKEY_Classes_Root\CLSID\ * CLSID *.
  Note: * CLSID * stand for the ID that appears in your event viewer error. In your case, it is {C2F03A33-21F5-47FA-B4BB-156362A2F239}.
  3. right-click on it and select authorization.
  4. click on Advance and change owner to administrator. Also click on the box that will appear below the threshold of owner.
  5. apply a full control.
  6. close the tab, then go to HKEY_LocalMachine\Software\Classes\AppID\ * APPID *.
  Note: * AppID * is the ID that appears in your event viewer. In your case, it is {316CDED5-E4AE-4B15-9113-7055D84DCC97}.
  7 right-click on it and select authorization.
  8. click on Advance and change the owner to administrators.
  9. click on the box that will appear below the line owner.
  10. click on apply and grant full control to the administrators.
  11. close all tabs and navigate to the administration tool.
  12. open component services.
  13. click on the computer, click my computer, and then click DCOM.
  14 find the corresponding service that appears on the display of the error.
  15. right-click on it, and then click Properties.
  16. click the Security tab, and then click Add a user. Add the SYSTEM and then apply.
  17. check enable local.

  Then use the relevant keys here and the DCOM Config utility should give you access greyed onareas:

  We have 7.2 VCS server control, I'm not able to see the option of user account under maintenance-Login accounts. Please advise.

  We don't have find me and TMS provisioing Extension service license, don't you think that's the reason.

  I just started my first deployment of VCS, MCU and TMS and I must add customer movie, cisco Jabber video for Ipad and integrtaion with CUCM. CUCM has some end points of polycom and C40 and C60.

  You precious advice will give me comfort during this deployment.

  It's probably because that VCS runs in TMS PE commissioning mode, in which FindMe is managed by the portal user in TMS, meaning there is no need to set up the maintenance > logins on the VCS.

  Edit: You added information that you do not have the keys option Device Provisioning and FindMe. Because user names relate directly to FindMe, the absence of an option key FindMe would explain also unable to see maintenance > login accounts > user accounts.

  You don't need a VCS-E for this.

  Just go to the plan of numbering - Setup and call to unknown IP addresses as Direct. The alternative would be to create a subzone with a membership rule with the IP of your endpoint. Depends on if you want to only allow the call to this particular or to any endpoint IP on your network endpoint.

  This problem has been resolved.

  The book of Z 17 HP installed their software: HP Client Security.

  This software prevents the use of external hard drives and flash drives in its default settings.

  Each customer is on their own in discoverinv and the resolution of this problem.

  Here's a consumer might encounter problems:

  The HP support assistant on Z book provides updates of drivers for windows, but the support phone number book mobile z is not listed.  There is a phone number, but it is a regular support, not z book mobile support or elite support.  Mobile Z book users are supposed to call the number fo elite press and the number is for a regular support on the wizard of book z mobile support.  Support assistant has cat support method and the HP chat support is not trained to book support z mobile.  There is a feature to contact the technical support and the transfer of data to the technician, and again, it goes to regular support who is not trained to support the mobile z book.  If you call the phone number provided some of the choices on the automated line includes desktop, laptop and office work.  If you choose Notepad you won't get z mobile workstation support.  If you choose work center you will get no support of z book mobile workstation.  Instead, you must have someone answer and then ask to be redirect to support elite.  On the first call, you never know that the support you are looking for is elite support until they give you this information on the next contact.

  After many hours spent barely pull on the problems of not being able to view files on an external hard drive or external dirve flash, I was able to change this HP software.  It now unfortunately produces a humming noise when parts of it are displayed.  This has not yet been set.

  The thin client HP security prevents click right change of ownership and prevent changes, right-click in the security, etc..  Change of Director fails also as the client security administrator HP overides too.

  So end users must change the HP Thin Client Security so that it does not block access to files on external hard drives or flash drives.

  Hello Manas, do not use the Installer 3.1, it is obsolete. Do this instead...

  • Download the Windows Installer 4.5 for Windows XP from here... http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=8483
  • Right-click on the configuration file, and then click Run As...
  • Select the suite of the user and type in the username and password of the administrator account
  • Press OK
  • Follow the installation instructions and that's it.

  Screenshots as soon as you have provided and since the last post you made, it seems to me that AVG is installed in the D drive on the computer and it runs in the computer. As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, if you have any program installed in this folder in the D drive in the computer, you will not be able to remove the contents of the folder.

  At this point, I would ask you to uninstall AVG (and any other program installed in this folder in drive D) and check if that helps. In order to completely uninstall AVG, you must download and run the utility of deletion there, provided by AVG at this link.

  Hello, I'm testing a Cisco ASA 5515 x with firepower (IPS, AMP, licenses of URL filtering). I created and implemented an access control strategy. The traffic of the L3 - L4 moment in our Organization is blocked by Firewall ASA. With SFR module I want to block Skype, Teamviewer, Torrent and intrusions from the Internet.

  My IPS policy is applied to the rule of Inspection of the threat which is the last rule in the policy of the CA. What I understand all traffic will be allowed, if it will be accepted by the IPS policies and AMP. The problem is that if I disable rule number 8 (Torrent of deny), then I can download torrent files and I am able to download torrent using Utorrent application content, but I think that this traffic should be removed by IPS policy. If I activate the rule number 8, download the torrent file is prohibited but not all torrent traffic fell (continue some of my torrents in Utorrent to download). I thought that IPS policy that is attached to the rule of Inspection of the threat will block all traffic that matches the IPS policy because the traffic of the intrusion. When I check the events I see that result Inline for the torrent traffic "fell". Why am I able to download torrents in Utorrent?

• VCS do not trust certificate - configuration of the LDAP user

  I have a cluster of 2 Telepresence VCS-control in the same network (vlan) and a bunch of 2 telepresence Expressway to same DMZ network (vlan). And both are on the same site. The two masters counterparts I managed to synchronize the servers against the ldap server (AD), but two of the slave with the same config for users/certificate/ldap settings fail. .  "DNS Uable to resolve the address of the LDAP server It seems to me that the peers do not trust the certificate.

  Newspapers that you attached are newspapers events and diagnostic logs not VCS. However according to these newspapers, it seems that VCS slave is not able to connect to the ldap server. If DNS resolution is probably ongoing, but the tcp/tls connection is not established.

  I recommend to make a journal of diagnosis (Maintenance > Diagnostics > diagnostic logging) everything by reproducing the connection failed to see what part of the connection fails.

  If you root for VCS slave access you may also connect as root via ssh and then run the following command:

  > tcpdump-port tcp s0

  Insert the port you use to connect to ldap in the field and then press ENTER. you will now see all the traffic to and from the port. Do you see some resets? Is traffic in one direction? This will help you understand why failure is implemented.

• Cisco not getting customer not DNS

  I have a cisco asa 5510 configured to work exactly as I want it, except that customers do not get a dns server when they connect. I thought that the presentation text below should take care of this, but unless I specify the dns on the client, it does not work.  If I put the dns in the network configuration of the client, it works very well.  When I look at the client log, the DNS is set to 0.0.0.0,0.0.0.0 when the virtual card is enabled.  What Miss me?
