Video graphics problem Pavilion p7-1233w Check

Video check graphic error, the test does not run in this environment.  Should I be concerned?

No changes to the monitor or graphics settings that Im aware of my screen seems to work very well not noticed no problems with it, like I just live with it?

What is the most common reason for this error?

If it's a problem or a problem of mask what should I check first to solve?

Hello OldDog13,

If everything works well, then you have nothing to fear. What it sounds like trying to run, it's the HP graphic video control, which is part of the HP Support Assistant application.

Something interferes with the application to run correctly or HPSA might not be working properly at all.
http://goo.GL/PRnB3

If HPSA does not, then we solve the whole application to see if we can solve the problem. Troubleshooting is simple because it is an uninstall / reinstall the application.

You must run other tests to see if any of the other tests has errors or if the graphics test is the only one who does not.

Troubleshooting the HP user, it is clear that my Pavilion p6 - 2326 s will not start because there is a problem with the integrated video/graphics card.  I get an error of six-beeping/flashing.  [With external cables all removed, I have re-installed the memory card unique and checked all internal cables were seated correctly.]

So my question is will install a graphics card on the circumvention of the motherboard to do it built-in default part graphic of the motherboard?

Troubleshooting Guide HP tells me that after memory is eliminated as a problem, the other is to remove the graphics card, but not "integrated" means that the graphics 'card' are integrated into the motherboard?   Short of taking the computer to a workshop of repair, is there any other troubleshooting I do to confirm the problem?

    Hello

Six 6 beeps is a videographic pre failed.    Try to clear the CMOS memory. Now the startup, press ESC then F2 to run diagnostics.

If you have installed a discreet graphics card, then remove the six 6 beeps is usually associated with discrete graphics card errors.

BTW - 5 five beeps is a failure of memory video pre.

  • HP Pavilion DV6 video drivers problem

    Hello world

I bought a HP Pavlion DV6-6C52EL, last year, with Windows 7 pre-installed. After two months I have upgraded to Windows 8 and now to Windows 8.1 (I did a new install of Windows 8 and an upgrade from 8 to 8.1).

But I have some problems with the video drivers. In particular, each time I get an error message about 'Application of the load MMDriver. First of all, I must say that my VGA is an AMD Radeon 7470 M + the built-in Intel HD 3000 (my processor is an Intel Core i5).

So I uninstalled the video drivers (the AMD and Intel VGA drivers) and reinstalled the new on the HP Support site, but they are for Windows 8 (not for the 8.1) and not updated. in fact, I always get the error message, and I see that the AMD Radeon 7470 does not work. Only the Intel HD 3000 jobs. In Device Manager, I get the error Code 43 on the Radeon. Suggestions? I've already updated the BIOS to the latest version, without success. Should I downgrade to Windows 8 or 7?

HP, please update your drivers for Windows 8.1.

Thanks in advance for your help.

12/15 PATCH: Finally, I have completely solved the problem. Now, both the VGA and the brightness adjustment work perfectly.

After numerous tests, the pilot plants and the facilities (and a lot of patience ), I would like to share my solution for users with my same problem.

Before you begin, please check the HP support Site if Windows 8.1 drivers are now available.

    • If Yes, you will get your graphics card works only by installing the proper drivers.
    • If No, please go to read this post.

    ==========================================================================================

-If you plan to make an own 8.1 Windows Installer, just download the Windows 8 drivers for Intel HD integrated graphics card and the dedicated graphics AMD Radeon on the HP's Support Site and install them. They must work immediately.

-If you have updated your system to Windows 8 Windows 8.1, as in my case, you may have some graphic problems. I'll show you how to solve these problems step by step.

         1. update your BIOS to the latest version available. Download from the Official Site of HP Support.

2 uninstall the driver of Intel's integrated graphics and the dedicated Control Panel AMD graphics card driver. Do not restart your PC.

3 using the free tool Display Driver Uninstaller (search on Google for the latest version), clean the registry keys and system files to completely remove drivers AMD. Restart your PC now.

    4. download the HD Graphics of Intel and AMD Radeon drivers for Windows 8 on the HP Support Site, but only install drivers from Intel.

5 enter the BIOS Setup and change the mode of "Switchable Graphics"on"fixed".

6 now install previously downloaded AMD Radeon drivers and reboot your PC.

When you restart Windows 8.1, you should get the fully functional Radeon; check in the Device Manager to see if it's ok. If this isn't the case, please follow my guide illustrated in the 'Update 12/08' above post and try with that.

You have now (finally!) the Intel and AMD Radeon graphics working with the brightness setting.

Thanks anyway for users who have tried to help me.

    * NOTE: Those not worked for me, for my setup (Intel Core processor i5 2450 M with Intel HD 3000 and AMD Radeon 7470 M) so use these guides at your own risk. I decline all responsibility in case of problems or malfunction of your system. *

  • Dual display (x 2)-l' one is PINK/PURPLE in color, how can I check for errors of video/graphics card?

I'm trying to implement 2 screens (extended desktop mode) and when I connect them both, however, I got a picture on two screens, one of them is color purple/pink.

I have swithced monitors around, it's NOT either of the monitors, they bot work very well... and the cablesARE guaranteed in the monitors and computer ports.

What is the video/graphics card which is the problem?... If so, how can I check these errors?

    Thanks to all who respond!

Try changing the cables, if they are of the same type.

I think that the problem is a damaged cable.

  • Windows 7 Graphics problem: graphics would become all deformed and weird looking

original title: graphic problem Windows 7

Hi, I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7 pre-installed on it.  Sorry if this problem has already been asked before, but I couldn't find someone else with the same problem I have.

Sometimes, the graphics would become all deformed and weird looking.  Look at the screenshot I took:

And it occurs for each program, not only on the desktop.  I could usually get rid of the lines by reducing the window and maximizing it again.  But it's so boring.

My graphics card is a Mobile Intel (r) 4 Series Express Chipset Family.  I updated the driver from last night, but the same thing happens again.  So I don't know what else could be the problem.

    Thanks in advance!

Check if your video card has its own program/parameters adjustment control panel and use it to adjust your settings more towards the side of the 'quality' rather than the side 'Performance' and see if that smooth your edges for you.  Also, you said that your system is new.  You can look into having served through your warranty.  You also need to make sure that it is not getting too hot.  Laptops produce a lot of heat and if it doesn't get good ventalation / or enough, then he can begin to display this type of behavior.  I had to go out and get a 'cooling block' for mine to keep it cool.  I hadn't started to have problems because of the heat, but I decided on my own that he was too hot.   Hope this bit of info helps.

  • Windows 7 graphics problems

I installed Windows 7 (twice now) and I have graphics problems.  It is the most widespread in Windows media Player and Mozilla Firefox.

the only Web browser that is not affected by the present is chrome.  I knew another pile of graphic problems, including a very bright wallpaper, but that has inexplicably disappeared.  I'm sure that I've updated my graphics card drivers.  I tried to load games, and they work without any problem; the problem exists in these programs (that I know).  I'd appreciate any help.  Thank you

  • Graphic problem of mission control

Hi, I have an early 2013 MacBook Pro retina runs El Capitan 10.11.6

Launch of Mission Control, there is a graphic problem: miniature Office are all gray, as you can see in the screenshot.

I already tried to quit smoking Dock in activity monitor and running "killall Dock" in the Terminal. Restart the system, the problem persists.

    Any ideas?

    Hello GalaxyWorker,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that when you use the Mission control the thumbnails are gray. I often use in Mission control, so I know not being able to see the thumbnail of the available screens can be useful. I'm happy to help you to get this resolved with you.

You did a great job trying to fix this problem yourself. First, I recommend that you test the problem in safe mode. Boot in safe mode allows your Mac perform certain controls, delete the cache and prevent the opening and start-up items to open automatically. Follow the steps below to start in safe mode.

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
    3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any key during startup

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

If the problem does not occur in safe mode, but returns when you restart normally, try to disable the login items using the link below.
OS X El Capitan: If you think you have incompatible connection points

If the problem occurred then in safe mode, it is possible the user settings or files are the cause. In this case, please try the issue in a new user by following the instructions in the following link.

  • Graphic problem on my Satellite (green dots)

    Hello
I had problems with my graphics card I guess.
I get these green points, filling the black background on my pc. When I switch off my pc for a while, they r gone!
But they come back after a while or so!
Y at - it something I could do about it or should I just send it to Toshiba.

Thanks in advance for your replies guys!
    Well appreciated!

    Hello

When you write on the green dots, I suppose that you write on the dead pixel. It is not caused by the graphics card and the same graphics driver.

    Please check this document http://support.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB5400ZD0002R01.htm
You can exactly find an explanation about this.

  • Qosmio G30-137 - video card problem - the bug of vertical lines

    Hi members,

Today my Qosmio G30-137 started to make trouble showing vertical lines that look like this:

    ''''' ''''''' '''''' '''''''
    '''' ''''''' '''''' '''''''

After having used the product Windows disk recovery could not start early and came up with a blue screen with the error code:

    + failure of page in the nonpaged area STOP 0 x 00000050 (0xC09C3044, 0x00000000, 0X804DA90AA, 0 X 000000002) +.

Basically, this indicates that the RAM - memory Cache L2 or preserved is dead. But I also learned that the graphics card can be smoked.

After the blue screen, you will not get the system to normal operation, no matter what you try.

I strongly advise to check if your Qosmio is under warranty and see your reseller for Exchange. Fortunately I bought mine 2006/06/06 so its still under warranty (even if only a left view days).

Additional information: another Member of this forum has had a similar problem and noted that the entire motherboard must be changed causing costs of USD 700.00 and more!

I will let you know what I found myself with.

    BRgds
    The Q

Unfortunately, this sounds like a serious problem of material as other members suggested, the GPU (graphics card) may be defective and therefore replacement is necessary.

The point is that the GPU is soldered on the motherboard and it of not possible to remove the graphics chip of the card. In most cases, the entire motherboard must be replaced to solve graphic problems.

In my opinion, you should contact your ASP as soon as possible.
Technicians should be able to help you to explain the situation and to issue and ask for later handling.

    Good luck buddy

  • Graphics problems during the game Age of Empire II in mode full screen in Windows 7

Original title: screen resolution and/or graphics problem with Windows 7.

Hi, I had currently two computers in my house upgraded to windows 7, one a Vista XP.

I am trying to run Age Of Empires 2 on both computers, the game has installed and running with ease, however it won't let you play the game in full screen, and also the color of things like grass and trees appear in red and orange, water displays brilliant purple.

I tried to change the windows screen resolution and the resolution of the options in the game, but it only changes in the percentage of the screen resolution, that he chooses to play in.

I can solve this? All advice is appreciated and thanks in advance.

PS I tried to reinstall and update graphic drivers, both computers have the same problem of new clean installations of windows and Age of Empires 2.

    Thank you

It is a problem due to the fact that AOE 2 was built on the platform Windows 95/98 Win9x. It will expose a few graphical artifacts while playing. You can try setting compatibility Win98 or Win95 check. There is also a workaround that may work in my opinion. You will need to search for "how to run StarCraft (1) on Windows 7" in Bing (Alternatively, Google: P) and it would show a site with a .bat file that could solve the problem of graphics in fullscreen.

    I hope this helps.

What I did with StarCraft was this:

On the desktop, right-click and select new text Document. Inside the Document, type this

    Taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe
    D:\"StarCraft"\"StarCraft.exe".
    Start explorer.exe

Just replace the location of StarCraft with the location of the AOE II.

Save the file as: 'AOEII.bat' and then set the file type to the text file to all files.

What happens is that if corrects the discoloration and restart the explorer again after the end of the game. Although there is no easy way to change the icon of the good bat file: P

My last laptop was T61. With all the Nvidia graphics problem before, I am so afraid it would have hit me again. I would return the laptop immediately to Lenovo. I am writing my thesis now with this computer. Really cannot afford not having no not my computer for awhile.

  • Non-functional processor DV7 - what a graphic problem?

    Hi all

Edit: I think that it maybe the wrong section for this so I she published more than crash & block but since I saw some views on this one, did not delete in case someone was following this so leave it here for now. Administrators can remove if necessary.

    I have a product number, dv7-4273us: XZ295UA #ABA. Bought July 11 or 15th, 2011.

    Current problem:

Saturday, August 16, 2014, I visited a friend to download far cry 1, 2, 3 and the DLC via steam. We left my computer download and went out. On our return 2 hours later, when I tried to make out the hibernation mode, it does not start and the caps lock light kept flashes once, indicating a CPU failure according to the error code to connect to this site.

    Performed troubleshooting:

I checked the plug and discovered that the taken light was red, so I went taking points, and the 2nd which shine white.

Connected to an external monitor no dice.

noticed that the light on the drive on the side right hand turns red, so tried the hard reset - removed the battery and tried to start it with just the connected plug, he came but it's same - caps lock flashes indicating once cpu failure.

    Previous problems:

So far, the only problem I had with the computer was that full screen, sometimes the light blue light and I would not be impossible to access anything. I would be put to sleep to get it out or restart.

    My Questions:

    (1) could download have hurt the CPU?

1 (b) if I ran out of har of disk space to download making the failure of the cpu?

    (2) the graphic problem I had known would be the cause of the failure of the cpu?

2B) if I replace the map move the cpu would resume the feature?

    (3) is anyway to get the laptop working again without having to buy a new processor?

    (4) I have used my computer plugged into a surge protector, but when I visited my friend was firectly plugged into the wall, he suggested that the computer overheating. Is it correct?

4 (b) but do not tell the flashes, could something else have been damaged?

    (5) it is just better to buy a new computer and forget fixing it? I can't afford it, but I'll ask just in case.

Thank you in advance for your help, much appreciated!

Note: I'm not in the United States, I'm in Barbados, so I do not have access to online services like amazon - they often don't ship here, and I won't be able to get my computer to any physical location in the United States for repair.

    Hello

You should be able to order a replacement CPU from the laptop. This would occur in the maintenance and Service guide (which is in my previous post). It can be a stand-alone item however, some laptops, it's part of the system board replacement.

I hope you're able to help.
