Vista close without warning

Lately my pc has been randomly close without warning.  It doesn't seem to be compatible on when he decided to "shut down".  I noticed that if I turn it on and just leave, so it seems that the time it takes to turn off is shorter.  But the time intervals are different each time.  If I turn it on and use a heavy application immediately (like Need for Speed) and it remains on 90% of the time without problem.  I tried a number of analyses of virus and so far nothing has much turned upward.  I checked my hardware and all is well.  There is a problem in the windows registry, virus, or vista is just corrupt.

I am running:
Vista Business SP2
3 GB ram
3.0 ghz AMD Athlon 2 x
NVIDIA 9500 GT graphics card
PC Chips motherboard
80 GB HD (hard drive was free, hoping to get a much bigger VERY soon)
Hello

1. don't you make changes before the show?

This happens usually if the program or device driver is defective.

Step 1: to find out what is causing the problem, check the event logs to find out what is causing the problem.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-information-appears-in-event-logs-Event-Viewer

You can try the following steps to keep your system up to date, as it has sometimes solves the problem.

Step 2: we recommend updating all drivers for devices on the computer and install the latest updates of windows for better functionality.
To update the device driver, try the following steps.
1. click on start, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.
2 to the list of issues, do a right-click on the following and click on update driver.
a. graphics cards.
b. the network cards.
c. Chipset driver.
3. If prompted, restart the computer and follow the same steps for updating other drivers.

Step 3: check in safe mode.
If the problem does not persist in safemode, it then confirms that some programs not Microsoft is causing this issue.
Visit this link to start the computer in safe mode: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

If the problem persists, check the logs of events and after return details, so that we can help you further.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards
Syed

If it is the fan / repairable or perhaps other components default?

    Hi Yannos

I think that your laptop turns off automatically due to high temperature.
Probably the cooling fan (cooling module) is no functions and therefore the CPU cannot be cooled properly.

The notification that received you today confirm my hypothesis.

In my opinion, the cooling module must be checked and probably replaced in order to solve the problem of cooling.

    Looks like it's overheating.

Use Bing or Google to search for information on your particular laptop (maybe the support forum for your Dell, Toshiba, HP, etc.) and determine how to combat overheating.  You may be able to 'fix' it's using compressed air to clean the vents and/or using a cooling pad under the computer laptop and even run a small fan external imed in the inlet.  May not be recommended by people IT but I often run my old laptop without battery to reduce heating.  And of course, you might have a fan does not properly.

Doubtful that the malware is causing your problem.   You have every reason to think otherwise - no evidence of infection

My Gateway Tablet PC with windows XP stops without warning a few days ago. For me, looks like the system is confused upward... I have no idea if the cleaning system could help with this strange problem, but I recommend you to check the application "CCLeaner". It is small freeware tool that could help you to clean the system registry as well as to remove the HDD of garbage (temporal files).

Also its recommended to defragment the HARD drive.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Photoshop maintains close without warning or errors

    Hello

I have a strange problem.  We just install CS5 about four months ago.  About two months ago, we started having trouble with Photshop untimely closing.  As a first step, it closed after having been open for an hour or two.  When the problem appeared first of all, I have uninstalled and reinstalled.  It worked fine for awhile, but now it closes after having been open for about five minutes.  It is not only a file - we tried with several different files.  Here's the really strange thing - we can open Illustrator or InDesign and have no problem at all.  So I'm new to Adobe, which would cause Photoshop to crash and not other applications?  We have no third-party plug-in installed and photoshop is completely up-to-date - 12.0.4.  The OS is XP pro and the user is a member of the domain and is also a member of the admins local on the computer.  Also, there is no event to the event log registration when it closes.  If there are papers relating to Adobe files, I don't know about them.  Any ideas where I should look at to solve this problem?

Your graphics driver crashes. Install the most recent / accurate to NVidia or ATI and configure it accordingly.

    Hello!

I tried to solve a problem with my CC (cannot open the update by all means) and unnistalled application from my Mac (Yosemite 10.10.5). Now, I have spent several hours trying to install back my request so that I could update my Adobe applications and access to newer versions of my co-workers work, but am unable.

Whenever I run the installer dmg and then open the installer, it passes through 3 simple steps:

-He asks me my admin password allow opening an image downloaded from the internet

-It opens and bed "Installer initializing" then quickly changes to 'Desktop download creative cloud. "

-It closes without warning or error messages boxes

I tried some fixes to internet for instalation problems - tried to change the permissions and installing from the root user, so I know that this probably isn't a permissions problem. tried to completely uninstall applications with Adobe cleaning tool (which makes the problem even worse, because now I can not use even the apps that I need every day because I can't reinstall them). tried to change the OOBE to OOBE.old folder. Re - download setup several times; change my internet connection (to ensure that it is not my internet).

  • a kind of automatic update suddenly without warning started to close all the documents I was working on, rebooted and lost all the changes I had made in the past three hours

I've worked hard for three hours in the middle of the night, made extremely dfficult work on several Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. at the same time - the kind of work that you can do if you're sure not not to be interrupted. All of a sudden a few (probably Windows) update began to close the files one by one, "don't turn off your computer" was the message.
I waited. It restarts, but then I realized all of work my three hours had disappeared. The files are still there, but in their unchanged form. How is it you lose nothing if your battery runs out and you can restore the files, that you deliberately deleted, and there is a permanent record of each tiny websearch? However, Windows can come in the night and boldly to destroy three hours of irreplaceable forced labor without warning! I won't ever be able to replace it.
