    Hello!

I have my Satellite A300 with Windows Vista for a while now, but it started to give me some problems a few days ago.

All of a sudden, windows not to load, it frozed on the windows logo screen. Because I needed to retrieve files I have installed ubunto from a cd and I was able to get the files on the trunk. Now and ever since I have this partition whenever I get to the screen where I chose the partition and that you try to start windows, a black screen and nothing happens! So I thought let's all format, but I just can't do the recovery or the terminal screen. I tried each key and the thing I could find or remember, but he still goes to the partition screen.

I lost track of my recovery that CD so is there a way I can format without the recovery CD?

    Thank you!

    Hello

If you want your only chance to return to factory settings is Toshiba recovery disc. Generally speaking, it s not a problem if you lost because you can order from Toshiba, but this service is not for free:
    https://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

Alternative, you can use a normal Microsoft Windows disk. All the drivers and tools that you can get on the official website of Toshiba.

  • Satellite M30X: Trojan horse - total Formate with recovery disc?

    Hello

I had a Trojan horse on my Satellite M30X. My Antivirus deleted, but every time I've been connected to the Internet, it appeared again. Not connected to the Internet it doesn't give me any problems. As I couldn't get rid of him, I backed up all my data and do a fresh install from the recovery disc. As long as the button for LAN wireless is disabled, everything works fine, but just a little while, after I turned on it, I get a blue screen. When I restart my computer with WIFI turned on, it produces a blue screen before Windows is properly loaded, even during installation. I tried restoring 3 times, but it's always the same result.

1 is it possible, that the Trojan horse destroyed things of the pre installation?
    2. I can't choose to make a formatting during the recovery process. All data are lost, but I feel that's not formate the hard drive correctly, when everything is destroyed. It crushes just stuff?
    3. is there a way to make a good formatting, then install completely new Windows?

It is not a problem of my WLAN card, internet being no problem under Linux.

  • How to install Windows without recovery disc - Satellite A660 with new HARD drive

    Hey,.

Portable 500 GB HDD of my friend Toshiba Satellite A660 seems to have died.
I tied him to my laptop on a sata dock and runs a data recovery program because nothing has been saved. The recovery takes forever, however, and she really needs his computer to work.

Because the hard disk may be damaged in any case, I am considering buying a new hard drive and install in the Toshiba.

How can I do this without a recovery disk, though?
The old drive was a partition recovery on it, I think, but this seems useless with a new drive.
Operating system is Windows 7 64 bit home edition.

The product key is on the bottom of the laptop.
I live in Turkey and so I don't think there is a Toshiba store is close.
There are individual computer stores, so I'm confident, I can buy a new internal hard drive (I could find the sata dock here), but he must know what to do to install the software, etc.

    Thank you!
    Chris

    > How can I do this without a recovery disk, though?

You either have the recovery disk or you are going to install the system using the Microsoft Windows disk.
The necessary drivers are in internet on Toshiba UE page.

The recovery disc can also be ordered here:

    Thank you very much
    Dave

Each manufacturer is different things about the recovery partition.  You need to contact the computer manufacturer (online - they can publish procedures - or by telephone) for instructions on how to use the recovery disk (there are probably a combination of special keys at boot that activates the process).  Keep in mind that this type of resettlement will completely eliminate your primary system partition, so don't forget to backup your important data until you try it.

Here is an article on the 1935 error and solution to fix it.  Maybe this will help (he has a little advanced, but so is the problem then do your best to fight the operating instructions).  http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2004/11/10/255346.aspx.

    I hope this helps.

  • Can I reinstall Windows Vista professional, a recovery disc on a new hard drive for my 6820 s?

I am selling my old laptop HP 6820 s to put the money to another and the main problem is that the original hard disk having bad sectors that prevent me from reinstalling Windows Vista Professional using the recovery disk. I was wondering if I bought a new hard drive of the same size and type, I was able to reinstall Windows Vista Business on it, especially since I still have the original key on the laptop itself.

If the hd meets the specification, you should be able to install using the recovery discs.

  • HP PC (Vista) format without disc

    Hello

    I have 3 questions.

    1. What is the best way to format my HP Pavilion desktop computer (m8325f) without disc? Which option is better a recovery system or a Factory Reset? The PC has been great so far but I need to get rid of junk files, programs & speed it up. He becomes very slow at startup & at the opening of the files.

    2. I have Microsoft Office 2007 and I know that I won't lose it when I format my PC, but it will recognize the PC when I put in the product key to reinstall? It is only good for 1 PC.

    3. can I transfer all my files on the Local disk (E drive rather than an external drive to keep my files temporarily until the format is done.)

    Thank you.

In fact on a Vista desktop computer, the only option may be System Recovery. Many new laptops have several choices such as Factory Reset, reduced Image, etc..

    Hello

I would like to ask for help. About a year ago I bought this laptop with the original Windows Vista validation but key without a Windows Vista installation disc. Now, I would like to reinstall my system.

I downloaded the file .iso Windows Recovery (of size 120 MB), it burned down and tried to reinstall Windows. I got to the stage where I type the validation key, but always when I typed that key, it appeared that the key is invalid (I checked this certificate stuck on the laptop and it seems to be original).

  • How to recover my computer to factory settings? How to buy recovery discs and which ones?

I recently bought a used computer on craigslist.  It's a HP Pavilion a6700f.  He came originally with Vista, but the previous owner installed Windows 7 32 on it.  I want to put it back to factory settings, but I can't seem to do it without the recovery disks, which I did not.  I have tried F11 at startup, but the system recovery won't be open in this way for a reason any.  I tried to buy HP recovery disks, but they only for Windows Vista 64-bit.  I'm not sure if my computer came with Vista 64 bit or -34, although she has 34 bit Windows 7 right now.  How can I recover the computer to factory settings?  Can I buy the Vista 64-bit recovery discs and use them?  Will they work?  Thank you.
