  • wired keyboard and mouse not recognized after sleep

TL; DR after waking from sleep, the wired Mac keyboard and mouse are unresponsive.

I have a new Mac Mini.

    OS X El Capitan 10.11.2, 16 gb Core i7.

I had a keyboard and a compatible bluetooth mouse, but I had the problem that after the Mini for sleep, the keyboard and the mouse were not detected.

I bought an Apple mouse wired and wired keyboard.

I have the same problem.  If I SLEEP the Mini, when I wake up it (short press on power) or the keyboard or the mouse are recognized.  It's like I have no connected.  If I disconnect it from the usb and the re - attach they are not always recognized.  I have to press power to force power off and restart and then my keyboard and mouse are recognized.

Sometimes when pressing the power button to wake up from her sleep, I also get a "flickering" image monitor, which improves if I turn on and off to sleep a few times, or restart.

It is very annoying, any ideas?

Try turning off blue tooth - it seems to me the pop up screen searching for the mouse Bluetooth turn on the lock.

  • Some applications does not respond after sleep (El Capitan)

Product: 13 '' Macbook Pro retina (12.1) (base model sheet)

    El Capitan Version: 10.11.6

    The problem:

When I connect after that my Macbook went down, I often have problems with some of the stock apps. In particular, I had this problem with the Mail Messages, reminders and calendar. This seems to be a problem when they are open before putting the macbook to sleep. This same problem happened with non-apple-stock applications.

Once logged in, if I click on the application icon, the application window will come into focus. After that, I'm unable to use the application (as if frozen) and I often just see the spinning Rainbow mouse icon.

Can I force quit the app and then open it again, but now the application does not load.

To solve the problem, I can restart the macbook and all is well.

Some others probably associated with funny things I saw (only attracted to this once... but did not look at one time or another):

I open the calendar application after the macbook was sleeping and my full general calendar was empty (which would be nice if it were true!). In any case, I checked the 'accounts' and also found that there was no accounts! (I have 3 goes). So I wonder if there is a problem with the accounts after sleep since these apps I've had problems with all iCloud account and mail also uses some other accounts.

Big Question: Is there something I can do to make that happen?

Thank you very much for your help! Sorry if this is a double post, it is difficult to find an answer via google search.

  • Satellite T110-121 - Wireless does not work after sleep in Win7 Home Prem 64

    Hello

I bought Toshiba Satellite T110-121, with Windows 7 Home Premium.

    Problem:

    1. after going into Sleep Mode, when he wakes up, my WIFI does not work, unless I'm in wireless network card setting, Advanced tab, then I change the Tx to say 100% to 75% power level, then the WLAN will work.

    2. I tried to adjust the setting for power management on the network card for maximum performance and does not disable during sleep and also in the Bios but nothing is

    3. I use Realtek 8191SE drivers have been updated (wireless card, Ethernet, Bios)

    Thank you

As much I know Tx power level option must be set to Auto.
Have you noticed the same behavior with Auto option?

  • Windows Mobile 8 turns is not on after sleep.

I have a Haier laptop with windows 8 is installed. Few days back my laptop got problem with mode 'sleep', it might be light not after sleep and I had to stop it to turn it on. This time after sleep, I tried to turn it on, but it has been set for the auto repair, after some time it says "Your PC couldn't be repaired" with options like system restore, refresh, reset, guest... Whenever I turn on the same process repeats... Now what should I do? Any suggestions?

Since your laptop now Windows 8 OS, you will have an error "the inserted media is not valid" when inserting it with Windows 8.1. To get this fix you are trying to insert the media Windows with Windows 8 OSrecovery or installation. Then, try to update your PC or reset your PC. Otherwise, you must reinstall Windows 8.1 with your media recovery instead of use the refresh or Reset.

  • Mouse and keyboard does not work after sleeping on a laptop

After awakening from a sleep of my laptop, my keyboard and mouse went crazy, pushing buttons at random on the screen, beep and completely freeze then both. I restarted my computer and got to the login screen which I was able to type in, then he connected and the keyboard and mouse do not work. I plugged in a USB mouse and the mouse that works very well. After some playing around, I got the keyboard works by accessing the control panel and change the speed at which the keys type and for some reason, this fixes the keyboard. However, I am still unable to get the mouse works.

So three questions, 1 - what happened in the first place? 2 - why my keyboard was working to connect, but not once it really connected? 3. How can I get my mouse back?
    Thank you!

  • HP Photosmart 5520 will not feed after sleep

I just bought the HP Photosmart 5520 and connected via USB to my computer (under Windows Vista Build 6002). I tested all the functions (print, scan, copy) and they work fine. Only problem is that after a period of inactivity, the printer starts 'asleep' and no amount after you have pressed the button On / Off he wakes. I have to resort to pulling on the power cable to the back and reinsert, then the printer starts. I see that others have had similar problems, but I see no solution. Looks a little basic features and base so why is this a problem?

I'm about to pack and bring it back to the shop. Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance

I have now received my replacement of HP printer and it works as it should which is when he goes to sleep, you can wake him up by tapping the button On / Off on the front panel.

I had a little problem because when he goes to sleep and you submit a print job, the printer does not automatically wake up and I had to press the power button to start printing. I followed the advice of Mulespinner about disabling automatic start/stop and this morning I sent the first print job to the printer "awakened" and fine print. My printer is connected via a USB cable.

Thus, it has been a bit of a trip since I posted my original message (October 15, 2013), but everything works as it should be now. So, if you encounter the problem initially reported by myself and Mulespinner, the only solution is a replacement printer.

About HP, the hard bit was getting to them that there was a problem, but once that has been established, the replacement option went like clockwork, and it's a good printer.
