W7 clean OEM install queation

I want to install an OEM W7 on a new generation of PCs personal, but it is planned for a Dell or intel, etc... The installation will work even in commercial version?

It will work, but you will not be able to activate it unless you have a genuine product key.

You can find software OEM System Builder of dozens of online merchants. The current price for OEM Windows 7 Professional Newegg, for example, is $ 140. When I checked a few minutes ago, Amazon offered packages OEM Windows 7 Professional from several vendors at prices ranging from $ 101 to $ 150. When I checked earlier, a package specifically designed for reconditioned PCs cost only $ 50 for a 64-bit copy.

There is no technical limitation to prevent you from using OEM software on your computer, although this software only works for a clean install, not an upgrade. In the past, Microsoft has been remarkably inconsistent in his advice to clients on the question of whether this practice is allowed. (See "is allowed to use Windows OEM on your own PC? Don't ask Microsoft. »)

I get that upgrade to DC will remove my Pro XI and plug-ins (do not have), it is over my settings/preferences or is it a clean and install it? I have a few custom workflow that I don't want to lose or should attempt to reconfigure as that will cost me precious time. Does anyone know if these wrapped, or if I can save and import?

    Hello

It's true that the upgrade to DC will remove Acrobat XI and plug-ins is automatically deleted as well.

However your settings or preferences will not carry over, so it would be clean, wipe and install.

You can save your work and access with Acrobat DC.

How to clean CS6 install on a new PC Win7 64 bit system?

I think I have improved all way from Version 7 th.

There's no problem. If no previous, active software is detected on the system, the installer to upgrade simply return to its secondary mode and ask at the entrance of the old series in a second step for verification. Unless you do some exotic crossgrade / sidegrade stuff, it should work without any problems whatsoever.

  • 12 c - cleaner after the failure of OEM install

OEM 12 c - Agent (AIX 64 Bit 5.3) deployment failed 3 times, but is located on the server, but does not start.

You will need to remove/clean w/o affecting existing OEM 10 g client and the rest of the Oracle homes.

Server/DB production is so downtime is not an option.

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Please see the following doc for instructions on uninstalling an agent of 12 c EM. An agent of 12 c EM has its own Oracle, so uninstall will not affect the other Oracle products on the host.

  • Exchange discs hard btw two identical with XP Home SP3 OEM installed OEM specifications

One of my laptops Gateway 8510GZ is 'die' (issues of video button and power). I want to take the hard drive of the laptop 'dying' and install it in the 'good '.

Reason: The road to the 'dying' is fairly recent, faster and has more capacity. It also has a lot of programs that will require hours of resettlement.

QUESTION: Can I take the dying drive from that and put it in the 'good' and call Microsoft to reactivate?

Two 8510GZ machines came with XP Home OEM operating system (updated subsequently with SP3). They were 100% identical at the time of purchase (only of the different serial numbers - of course). I only have the recovery disc OEM for these machines. I have a family version of XP Pro with an unused license left, but was not enough to mess with a clean install and find all of the drivers concerned.

If the material is ABSOLUTELY identical in every respect then you may find that you don't need to reactivate... If you find my answer helpful, please click the button "Vote as helpful"! Thank you!

  • Win7 clean Post install issues Device Manager

Hi all, I just did a clean reinstall Windows 7 on my XPS of 8700 (in reason to put in a new SDS). All right and it's working great, but there are two point in Device Manager with exclamation points that I can't get rid of. It's Controller of Bus SM and other devices. I tried to look for an update to the driver, but none have been found...

The thing is, everything I want to do on my machine works fine as it is, so my questions are, can I disable or uninstall these things? What are they for? Etc...

Oh yes, another important issue. When I did the re-install, I never invited to activate windows. But it the FACT in Control Panel-> system, show that it is activated and it shows a product key. What's up with that? I mean its fine, I don't want unpleasant surprises later.

    Thank you!

Have you installed Intel Management Technology?

    http://downloads.Dell.com/FOLDER02057483M/2/ME_Intel_Win_A02_DMNV3_setup_ZPE.exe

Licenses Dell Windows 7 OEM use OEM SLP activation. For Windows 7 the 25 digit Dell SLP entered since the reinstallation DVD and Windows is automatically activated if the BIOS contains SLP markers IE Windows active only if a valid Dell BIOS is detected. Each preinstalled with Windows 7 Professional Dell uses the same SLP key.

  • Bought by mistake OEM install W7, may personal about the user install new HD anyway?

I installed two systems of W7 home & student DVDs in the past.  This time I bought W7 Amazon seller, to learn that he needs tools to install OEM.  Unfortunately MS provides the tool for registered companies only.  Try to fix computer from a friend with a * new HD, before his departure Friday.  Y at - it other than his back and starting over, options installation of any other clean?  If this is not the case, this DVD need me?  Thank you!

You may not use the OPK unless you are a system integrator that has an intention to actually sell the computer with Windows 7 OEM.

I understand your concern for wanting to stay in compliance, but using the OEM System Builder not having license will not not Microsoft Authorities come knocking at your door.

If you still want to have a peace of mind, you can try to reinstall Windows Vista by following the instructions below:

  • Ultimate from Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium or professional clean to install the new SSD

I put my turn to level. It came with Vista Ultimate. I bought an SSD that will become my c drive. I want to do a clean installation in each Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional 64 bit on this player.  My drive/d has a backup of the Vista operating system. My drive is resumed. Do I have to buy a new copy of version single charge? If so, how will I know the source of what I buy sells an authentic copy or download? If not, what are the steps I need to take to upgrade? There is a number on the back of the workstation that would allow me to do it with the new drive installed? I don't want to have non-essential files on the SSD.

Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

    Full version (retail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

    -Expensive

    Upgrade version (detail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

-Expensive, but less expensive full version

    OEM System Builder version:

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

There is nothing wrong to use it too, especially that all future versions of Windows will be full versions.

If you choose to buy the upgraded version:

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

  • Clean completely install firefox, no offers

I messed up my Firefox and need a * clean * install. Reinstall using all combinations possible results in 'Firefox-choose user profile' box with nothing in and no way to "Create a profile" - a pop window for a fraction of a second and disappeared without letting me see what is in it.
It drives me crazy. I do not for all my previous settings, history, bookmarks - I need a * charge * install.
    Help, please!
    Thank you
    Vlad

Hi Vlad, please open this way:

    %APPDATA%

The Mozilla in OldMozilla folder, and then rename (I suggest to rename instead of delete so you can dig whatever it is essential you need later)

Then change the "Roaming" in the address bar of Windows Explorer on 'Local' and rename the Mozilla folder it the same way.

Then when you run the installer, Firefox does not detect your old settings and should put in place the new files.

Moreover, you can get the latest installer here:

    https://www.Mozilla.org/Firefox/all/ (scroll your preferred language)

    Success?
