  I just bought a 2050 all in one used to the Kenya

  In the box, it says I need 122 cartridges

  However, I can't these 122 cartridges to the United Kingdom (where I am from)

  When I use the HP software to buy new cartridges

  in > series controls Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers\HP Deskjet 2050 J510

  IE I need 61 cartridges

  However, when I try a google for "HP 2050 cartridges" in the United Kingdom most sites say that I need 301 cartridges

  1 is it

  2. What are those which I use with my printer

  Very confusing for the customer! not impressed with what headache is for me (my first product HP)

  Anyone would have thought that you would be just normalized this? !!

  122 cartridges are hard to find here, when you find them, they are very expensive.

  I assumed I could just pick these to the United Kingdom and just get back with me, but I'm not bad

  The printer you have 122 cartridges.  If you bought the printer from the Kenya and brought back to England, you can Contact HP to ask a "regionalization Reset." Do not charge for this, it is covered under the warranty of the cartridge. You will need to have access to your computer and printer then on line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once completed reset cartridges of region of origin no longer works.  Webpage of HP on the subject is here.

  Regionalization reset will be unavailable if you bought the printer from the Kenya and I just want to buy cartridges from a different region.

  My Hp Envy 4504 gives color impressions.

  Its keep giving only black & white or gray scale images.

  Also, I couldn't find the printing color profiles or presets under the printer settings.

  I only 'Black and White' and ' black and white - gray ' presets.

  What should I do to get the color print.

  I have two hp color and black ink cartridges installed.

  Help, please.

  I understand that you are unable to print in color on your HP Envy 4504 printer. I will definitely do my best to help you.

  You are able to print a test highlighted report? The printer prints a blank Page or does not black print or ink color for the HP ENVY 4500 and Deskjet Ink Advantage 3540 e-all-in-One Printer Series.

  The problem only occurs when printing from Mac? It seems that there is a problem with the printer driver. Please see these instructions by my colleague Anti-double-U-di.

  Publish:

  10.10 yosemite, foot, make sure you have the latest updates, including Apple updates as well as updates from HP by Apple Software Update (ASU), currently HP printer software update Ver3.0

  Look for the updates (ASU) Apple
  1. click on the Apple in the left menu bar
  2. click on "about this Mac".
  3. click the button of "software updates... »
  4. make sure that the "Updates" icon is selected, click on 'Store' in the top menu
  5. click on 'reload the Page.
  6. install the HP updates (look for the last 'HP Printer Software Update"by the version number)

  Note: If you can't print or scan if he is an all-in-one HP printer, and then follow the steps below.

  Delete the print queue HP printer
  1. click on System Preferences
  2. click on printers & Scanners

  Before continues, the following steps will remove all printers to printers and Scanners, you may need your software and drivers for the printers to re - install if it is not part of the Apple software updates.

  Reset the printing system:
  1. open System Preferences
  2. open Printers and scanners
  3. on the left side where would be referred to as printers, right click and select "reset printing system...". »
  4. click on the "Reset" button when asked to confirm
  5. Enter your password, and then click OK (if prompted)
  6. Once completed, (notifications cannot pop up) you will simply see the Virgin 'printers & Scanners', just close

  Remove the software from HP/Hewlett-Packard:
  1. go on 'Finder '.
  2. go in "Applications".
  3. Locate and open the folder "Hewlett-Packard".
  4. If you see an "Uninstall HP program" listed here then run the uninstall program, otherwise, go to step 8
  5. click on the continue"" button.
  6. Enter your password, and then click OK (if prompted)
  7. When you are finished, click "exit".
  8 remove the HP folder or Hewlett-Packard (if still listed after uninstall) drag the folder to the trash
  9. right click on the Recycle Bin in the dock, click on "Empty" - and then confirm to empty the trash

  Repair disk permissions
  1. in the Finder, click Applications
  2. open the Utilities folder
  3. double-click on the disk utility
  4. on the left side, click on the hard drive which has Yosemite 10.10 installed to highlight
  5. click on the "repair disk permissions" nearly half lower the window (time may vary to finish)
  6. what repairs completed, a message near the bottom window 'Fix full permissions', now you can close the disk utility
  7. click on the Apple in the upper left corner, click "Restart" to restart your Mac

  Manually the drivers of HP printer install v3.0

  2. click on the button 'Download' (remember where your download is if your downloads are not on the dock)
  3. open the "HPPrinterDrviers3.0.dmg".
  4. double-click on the "HewlettPackardPrinterDrivers.pkg".
  5. click on the continue"" button.
  6. After reading the license agreement, click the continue"" button.
  7. click on the button "I agree" If you agree
  8. click on the drive that Yosemite 10.10 is installed on and click on continue
  9. click on the 'Install' button (this will install the drivers for HP to your Mac)
  10. Enter your password, and then click the button 'Install Software' (if prompted)
  11. click on the "Close" button when the message "installation succeeded."

  Add a printer to print the queue
  1. open System Preferences
  2. open Printers and scanners
  3. click on the symbol ' + '.
  4. click on "Add a printer or a Scanner..." »
  5. click on "HP Envy printer 4504.
  6. click on the drop down menu to "use:" and choose "HP Envy 4504 Series."
  7. click on the ' Add ' button.

  Try to print in color.

• Want 4504: Resolution of the scanner

  How can I change the location that I send my scan to?  It is always default to the cloud that doesn't help that I'm not always online when I want to call to the top of my scans.

  Also some scans, even with a 600 dpi resolution come out like the sizes of files such as 400 kb, 197 kb.  Why is it so small?

  I noticed that you encounter some problems when scanning with your printer HP Envy 4504 on Windows 8. And I'm happy to help you!

  Use the HP scanning destination setting to set the folder on your computer where to save all the analytical work.

  1. HP scanning, click on one of the shortcuts, and then click Advanced settings or more.

  2. Click on Destination, click Browse next to the save location box or enregistrer save to folder, select the folder in the folder window's Browse, and then click OK.

  3. Click OK or click the Save icon in the shortcut to save the location of the folder.

  4. Repeat these steps for each scan shortcut, depending on where you want to save scan different types of job.

  Regarding the file size of the scans, it depends on what file type you are scanning to. For example, a PDF file might be larger in size, what about a JPG file and sometimes vice versa. It may depend on what you want to scan as well, if it is of high quality, or documents, images etc.. There are many variables involved with sizes and file types.

  Went to install my first InstantInk cartridges.  Got 61/301 cartridges.  Original cartridges in printer 61.  Customer support says 61/301 cartridges are good, but they are quite a bit longer and I'm unable to install them.  Any ideas?

  My 5530 desire refuses to receive 61XL cartridges. They are suppsed to be compatible, but I get the message incompatible and can not get around.  Tried to reboot several times.   Is there a setting to change or something?

  Yes, finally gave up returned to the store for another which worked like a charm.  Little copper electric bands must have been faulty is all that I can understand.

  I found a place (Storage Options) in the bios where I can choose between IDE, RAID and AHCI.
  Is this the right place?

  Can I change IDE to AHCI without damaging my installation of the system in other words will my work PC after that I changed without reinstalling?

  Western Digital green 6 TB

• want 120 cartridge problem

  I'm having a problem with my printer HP Envy 120 new.

  On switching on, the 'cartridge problem' screen appears, saying: "one or more cartridges appear to be damaged.

  There is a black icon below this text but no color.

  I have assumed that meant that the color cartridge did not work. I went back to the store and got a new cartridge color under warranty.

  However, with the new cartridge installed, I still get the same message. Means, therefore, that it is the Black cartridge that is defective?

  I tried to reinstall the two cartridges, cleaning all the contacts and the reset of the printer off for 15 seconds without result; I still get the same screen.

  As I'm back at the shop soon, I would like some ammo in the case of an argument! The printer is still under warranty, but a resolution may depend on who you're talking about... :-)

  Personally I find the screen rather ambiguous. Thanks for any help!

  Simply put the replacement cartridge in now and the printer works fine.

  My wireless HP Envy 4504 printer keeps telling me that it cannot find my computer even tho ' it is connected to the Internet.  I've scanned something once before and can see no reason why it does not allow that.

• Toolbox Photosmart 7260; I lost it! Want calibrate cartridges

  I replaced the black ink cartridge. Printer works and prints well.

  A message keeps popping up telling me to calibrate my cartridges.

  In order to get rid of the message, I think I should calibrate!

  I can't find the box tool to perform this service.

  Ok! Finally, I found the hp Toolbox and managed to calibrate ink cartridges. For those of you who read this, here's how you can find the box tool in XP. I couldn't do the prescribed ways found in the help or support.

  Click Start, then Control Panel; Click on "printers and faxes". Then right-click on the icon for hp Phtosmart and select Properties. On this screen, and the lowest is a button called "Printing Options"; Select the tab "Services".

  Now, make sure you double-click the service icon on this screen.

  And, voila! The next window is the one I've been looking for; It's "hp Photosmart" 7200 Series Toolbox! Finally this page from the Toolbox allowed me to calibrate, clean, example of printing and print the Test Page.

  The second tab showed me the "estimated ink level".

• Want 7640: Cartridge is installed incorrectly, Envy 7640

  My printer was purchased just 20/07/15 and I get the same error message over and over again. When I look at the app, it says that K cartridge is damaged and replace it. I have 2 cartridges, it came with and I do not see K cartridge. He came wth 62 HP black and 62 HP Tri-Color?

  If I open the cover and close the bottle about 4 times, it is loke it he fine and will be printed in a very light color of the original (photo). After that 1 print it then displays the same error message! Anyone has any ideas how to fix or simply return?

  K refers to the HP62 black print cartridge.  I would recommend that return you it to the store for a replacement.

  If you want to make a COPY of the file you drag (leaving the original where it is and make a copy in the place that you drop the file), and then hold down the control (Ctrl) key on your keyboard while you drag and drop, and she must make a copy in the new location.
