  I understand that you can not get the printer connected to your Windows laptop. You are on the right track, you need to download HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one of the printer drivers.   HP Auto Wireless automatically sets the printer without connecting it to a USB port, only if your computer is also connected wireless to the network. If your PC does not have wireless connectivity USB cable would be necessary, except if your router supports WPS.

  If your PC is connected wireless to the router, restore the pritner as follows:

  I recently had a problem where printing of pdf documents is out as unreadable solid ink lines. I have it narrowed down to only occurs with specific policies and only a reader of pdf special and only on my hp printer. I suspect that this was due to software updates, but I don't know if it's windows 10 updates or updates of adobe or some other updates. Now I just avoid using the fonts of the problem.

  In any case, an attempt to solve this problem, I decided to uninstall my 5740e hp software and reinstall the software in the hope of resolving the problem. Unfortunately, it has not fixed the issue but left us with a problem even more serious.

  Whether or not you can use AirPlay to print is dependent on the capabilities of the printer.

  Removed all HP utilities and restarted first. Then reinstalled using the HP Easy Start and ensuring that the security settings have been set to "Anywhere".
