Web service: unable to solve current dialog

I'm testing a simple RESTful web service built with Labview.  I tried running the examples (address book, weather station).  When I get to the step of the deployment of the web service, I get the dialogue of conflict resolution with the useless message 'unable to solve current dialogue. "

I thought maybe it was a problem with an incompatibilities (for example if the example was built for an earlier version of Labview).  I built my own very simple VI containing a single indicator.  I thought it was also a good idea to avoid shared variables.  I always get the same error dialog box when you try to deploy the application.

I enclose my simple test project where this is useful.

There is a known issue in LV 2011 with this string is empty. If this is the case, telling us that the Web of LabVIEW server is running, but the deployment Web Service LV is not. Not sure why this would be the case on your system. One thing you can look at to help refine, it's your Windows event logs.

Assuming that Win7 or Vista--> in Run type eventvwr.msc.  This will shoot to the top of the event viewer. Select "application" in the Windows logs. You should see a bunch of caveats and erros in the dialog box.  Try to deploy your VI with the veiwer upwards and see if any new error are reported. The Source of the error should be LabVIEW, and I expect to see the error http 400 or 500.

Apart from LV Dev Suite 2011, do you have something else installed on your system? Maybe an older version of LV? What OS are you on?

I recently bought an Imac, and now I can't get my hp 7525 to analyze correctly. It says unable to connect to web services. I tried to uninstall wirless and re-login.  Help, please!

    Hello

    My apologies for jumping.

To add more, the latest firmware MUST be installed to maintain connectivity of the web services.

Click on the configuration icon and select Tools, then print a printer status report.

Locate the firmware listed, if it is a value lower than ELM1CN1607AR (see "BOLD" kinds) you will be required to update the firmware.

Unfortunately, a Mac OS firmware update utility is not currently available, so you must use a Windows PC to update the printer:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-Photosmart-7520-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5199461/model/5286642/swItemId/OJ-113641-5

Once obtained the latest firmware, try to use Web Services again and check for the difference.

  • Unable to connect to the Web Services Proxy/unused (a HP 7500 JO)

    Hello

    Here's the situation:

    Previous installer:

.  I have connected my 7500 for the corporate network (IP = 172... series)

.  registered the product with ePrintCenter

.  used a PC under Windows to print (and scan) with the printer

    .  web proxy entry "webproxy.phila.gov".

.  However, because homeland security rules, I could never work, so I just let it go

    Current situation

.  has taken the home printer and set up on my home network, i.e.,.

    -using the 192.168.xx.xx series

-Router broadband Netgear ' G' (1 years) set up at the 192.168.xx.254

    -SSID & encryption assigned

-printer, the value 192.168.xx.155 (static IP address, the subnet and the gateway assigned as well)

-My DNS is identical to the bridge and it works fine for all the internet access to this day

-with the help of a PC and a Macbook Air to print and scan and everything works fine

    .  HOWEVER,.

-Initially, 'web services' were active (carried over from when I was on the company neetwork?)

..  Are looking for, found and downloaded updates

-When I went to hp.com ePrintCenter he showed the product as 'registered '.

..  He would'nt I would like to connect (with a name and a password I had used previously), or create a new account

..  I never remember getting an email address of the printer

..  and I had never been able to send anything to the printer to print because of my problem of network security

-Yes, after trying all sorts of things, I:

..  I tried to get another email without success

..  tried to re - enable web services, but he said I need to 'proxy', and I discovered that he had always "webproxy.phila.gov."

..  I have reset the values by default web services and network values

..  I put the static IP address return address in (i.e., printer, subnet and gateway (it has nowhere to put in a DNS one))

..  printing and scanning to 192.168.xx.155 works fine

..  From my iPad AirPrint works very well

.  BUT, I still can not online and therefore web server, web services are not enabled, therefore not ePrint

-everytime I try, it says it needs a proxy

    - but I don't have a proxy installed on my internal home network bit

-Comcast/Xfinity, my ISP, do not use a proxy

So, I'm dead in the water.  I can't figure out how to get the web services enabled; I do not use a proxy, so I don't know how to go beyond this issue. How to regenerate address of the printer; and so, how do I connect an account on the ePrintCenter (or get them to send me my old account information).  I'm dead in the water and cannot use a feature most of my printer that I desperately want to be put in place and functional.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Tommy

Problem solved, but I don't know exactly how I did it. However, I went back in and let the printer assign the IP address. Then I turned the printer off and on again. Last I kept pressing the button "Printer e-mail address", who has repeatedly failed, but then finally went through and print the 'printer' page, I quickly used to connect to the ePrintCenter and put everything in place.

    Now it's working.

  • a 6500 - unable to connect to web services 710n

I've been on web services and receive printing applications.  Suddenly, my apps stopped printing.  I tried all other solutions, reset default, etc. and still unable to connect to web services.  It requires a power of attorney.  I put the proxy of google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 but these don't work.  What proxy & port should I use?

    Thanks for your help.

Yes, my problem is solved.  Finally, I plugged the usb cord and was able to connect to web services.  I left alone and when I came back he had printed the eprint news.

  • HP laptop: Hp 7520 all-in-one, unable to connect to web services when you are trying to scan to e-mail

All of a sudden, I'm not able to scan to e-mail. I get the message unable to connect to Web services. One day he was working the next day this error message.
    THX!

    Hi @MMDH

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you are getting a server connection error when trying to scan to e-mail. I would like to help.

There are two ways to go about this. It's either scanning to email app that is having the problem, or the printer it's impossible to connect to Web Services. It is easy to discover this. Tap the ePrint icon located in the upper left corner of the screen printers. If you get a server connection error, try the steps in this post troubleshooting by E - roq. Pro tips: Troubleshooting printing and scanning to Email Issues in e-all-in-one printers

If you do not get a server connection error, then the problem is with the scanning to email app. To solve this, go to the Web Services menu (icon ePrint) and select settings, then remove Web services. You will return to the main menu/home. Press again the ePrint and enable Web Services. Once activated go to scanning to email App. Setting up scan to email. Send a test.

I would like to know if these measures worked for you. If they did, it's great! Give us some reinforcements by pressing buttons of solution and laurels, that we will help and others see that we have the answers!

  • Unable to get web services reactivated on Envy 100 D410

My envy 100 D410a was once working with ePrint, but has not been used for a while.  I've recently switched to connected HP and had to re - register the printer.  The news to save the printer would not print.

After trying a few times, I removed the web services and then tried to turn it back on, but every time I get the message "problem connecting to the web services server.

I have the Group of experts through the troubleshooting to restart the printer, restart the router, nothing helps.  I have currently set an IP address manually and can print wireless via a laptop, but not ePrint and no web service.

I tried to configure the servers manual DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (via the printer IP address URL), but whenever I try, I get an error:

    An error has occurred. (wipv4Page-400)
    Click 'OK' to go back

    The current firmware is: SLM1CN1039HR.

SOLVED!   This can be closed.  I did a factory reset, but not on the tab network/section.  Once I did this and restarted the printer, web services could be reactivated.  I can now access the printer via HPEPrint.

  • 8610 enabling Web Services gives the error "Unable to connect to the server.

    Hello.

I'm looking to enable web services and get the message 'Unable to cnnect to the server. In this case, if I try to make the printer itself, or via the web interface.

I followed the steps listed here: Re: HP Officejet Pro Service webization 8610 and it has not solved the problem. The printer is not connected wireless, it is connected via an ethernet cable. I have a static IP address set, and I have a manual DNS server is entered. For DNS, I tried 8.8.8.8 as well a DNS server in-house, and have solved the problem

I haver tried restarting the printer after you make these changes.

Web services previously worked on this printer, but then stopped, giving me the same "cannot connect to the server" message. I tried to remove Web services and time it and got to this point.

The printer has been already updated the new firmware listed under the product support for this printer, version FDP1CN1416AR page.

    Thank you for your help.

For anyone who is faced with this problem. The problem ended up being that the date was incorrectly set in the printer.

From the web interface, you can adjust the date by going to settings > Preferences > Date & time. There is a checkbox to synchronize the date and time of the computer you connected from.

    Hello

We have a CPO 2.3.1 who refuses to connect to vCenter (see newspaper excerpt at the end of the post).

Recently, we changed our server vCenter (part of a 5.1 update).

    We tried the following workarounds:

    • Remove and add all the elements of the platform from the portal using services SE
    • Re import automation packs (4 of the Starter Edition v2.3.1.38)
    • Re on the keystore password

    No change at all...

Do you have an idea on how to fix this?

You have an invalid key file because the HTTPS certification has changed. You must remove the old keystore file and restart the OPC Server and then reconnect / run something against vCenter.

I understand that your printer is not connected to the web services.  . I would first disconnect the router and the printer for about 1 minute.  I would plug the router first then the printer. I would then try to enable web services. If not successful, and you get the same error message. I'd follow these steps.

1 obtain the IP address of your printer

    a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.

    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.

    3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.

    4. on the left, select network.

    5. Select Network (IP) address

    6. select manual DNS server

    a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

    b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4

    7. Select apply you could get a fair warning select OK.
