Satellite 1800-921 simply uses modules SODIMM 144 pin PC100 and you should check out some offers from online dealers.
I m you will find something interesting!
Oh the laptop supports max 512 MB and that's why you can use modules of 2 x 256 MB max.

Satellite 1800-921 material updates
Hello
My daughter received a Satellite 1800-921, but it needs to be updated.
I need to allow him to become compatible wireless and also update the RAM.
In addition, they are easy to do?
Thank you
The update of the RAM is possible. You can update for max max 1024 MB and these modules can be used:
PC100 256 MB (PA3069U - 1 M 25)
PC100 128 MB (PA3005U)
PC100 64 MB (PA3004U)The situation with the WiFi network is a little different. The laptop does not support any card of minPCI of WLan and the internal upgrade isn't possible.
But you can use a USB WiFi key or a PCMCIA Wlan card. -
Satellite 1800-921: antenna integrated behind the screen?
Can someone tell me if the Satellite 1800-921 has an antenna behind the screen?
Thank you
PeterI guess you mean a kind of antenna? As far as I know behind the screen is placed antenna WLAN for supported models with WLAN connectivity.
I wasn't able to find info on Satellite 1800-921, but if the unit is supplied without WIFI I guess that there is no WLAN antenna behind the screen. By the way: I believe that the Satellite 1800 series is delivered without a WLAN option.

Need Driver USB for Satellite A30 921
Need Driver USB for Satellite A30 921.
I can't find.Please help me
To be honest I really don't understand why you need the USB drivers? :|
Is it all the USB drivers are one included in the OS. It s no matter what operating system you have. Win XP or Vista.
Operating systems use the own Microsoft USB drivers and installation of the USB driver is unnecessary. By the way; There is no 3rd party USB drivers ;)So now, it would be useful to know what operating system you have installed.
If you are using XP then you should install SP2 and should update the operating system to the State.Furthermore, you shouldn't t forget to install the utility of chipsets Intel (pilot).
You can find these drivers on the European driver Toshiba-> Sat A30 page area download.Hope that this information could help you get the USB port works again

Cheech ChongHello
Seems that the laptop can not find the bootable source.
This means that the HARD drive is malfunctioning or the boot sector is defective.By the way; have you tried to change the boot order in the BIOS?

On the Satellite 1800-921 black screen problem
Hello
My satellite 1800-921 has started to give me a black screen after I turn it on. It loads well, go to the desktop and then the screen turns white and I can't make it respond. We can just distinguish the dialogs on the screen so I don't know if it is a screen problem or things I see on the screen are just ghosts...
It's a bit worrying!
Does anyone else have this problem? So far, it seems to happen when I turn it on. Usually, I have to turn it off and reboot to get it back and then it works very well.
Thank you
Nancy :)Hello
to the old series, it may be that the FL inverter is broken or damaged the tupe of backlight. In both cases, you can see the screen but without backlight!
To differi if it is a hard - or software error, you should start the laptop and ESC immediately to enter the BIOS. Then the machine must be running half an hour in the BIOS. When the rupture occurred it is quite sure that some hardware is broken. Otherwise, it is a software based and a restore with recovery CD Toshiba should solve the problem!
Goodbye, TOK

Size of RAM required for Soa Suite 11 g in the development environment?
Hi all
I have a question about the optimal size of RAM required for soa suite suite 11 g in the development environment. I can see the facility of documents which
Logic of Web-> 2 GB
SOA Suite(soa server and BAM server on web logic) - > 2 GB
Developer of J-> 1 GB
A total of 5 GB, since we are new to 11g we're not sure, cannot therefore anyone who uses the comment 11g on the optimal RAM necessary for execution of soa suite 11 g with the developer of J.
Thank youTry to have a separate for the SOA Suite, for example the server machine. Then use JDev developer machines.
It really comes down to how much load you put on your environment. I would recommend 4 GB but I ran fine with only 2 GB. The question of having JDev on the same machine is that JDev can very very hungry memory and can / will affect developer experience.
see you soon
