When connecting my laptop to a TV LCD TV screen has scattered green lines

I have Sony Vaio S13118GAB and TV LCD Sony laptop, I have connected my laptop to TV cable HDMI sound is perfect and the image is there, but there are a lot of green lines on my tv screen. How to fix that and make the image more clear and free of these disturbing green lines on-screen?

have you tried another HDMI port on TV or another HDMI cable?

If you have done the above and tried different screen resolutions and have the
latest for your video card driver, you should contact Sony support.

    Hello

Try changing the VGA cables and check if it helps.

If the problem persists, then I suggest you to update the firmware.

Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. The SW2 is not a device that will be detected as a connected external device - updates are performed via an update to the app and apps are done via the phone - so you can not transfer files simply load it via your laptop

  • Re: Satellite P300 - no sound when connecting computer laptop to TV via HDMI

    Hello

I searched online on several sites and read the messages on this forum too but still could not find a solution that works.
I plugged in the cable and instantly got video but no sound. This cable works fine with my PS3.

I tried to set the audio device by default both HDMI and S/PDIF and reboot after each time, but it doesn't work!
Also, when I choose HDMI as device and try clicking on the Test, I get an error message saying "cannot play the test tone".

I checked for updates for the driver through Windows and it is said that there are no updates. I have a Satellite P300 laptop.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you

  • Laptop computer 32AV700A REGZA LCD TV using WLan connection

I would like to connect my laptop to the new LCD TV - REGZA 32AV700A using WIFI rather than via HDMI or PC connector.
Is it possible on this LCD TV.

Anyone know what type of dongle, I expect to connect via the USB port on the TV?

    Thank you

    Hello

According to this technical data Toshiba this TV has not been equipped with a WLan:
    http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/products/LCD-TV/WXGA/av700a/32av700a/specifications

But you can use a DLNA solution.
    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Living_Network_Alliance

    http://www.DLNA.org/

The Toshiba REGZA series supports the DLNA standard.
Also any PC with network (WiFi, Lan) interface can become a DLNA device by installing DLNA software. Google a bit there are a lot of different software.
    I found this one:
    http://www.tvmobili.com/

Windows Media Player 12 also supports DLNA roles.

I hope that helps a little... I recommend reading on this topic for more information...

  • Red/green line on screen of laptop

So, whenever we go out, my family put my laptop under a couch to hide. This has been done several times, and this time when I pulled it out and opened it, there was a vertical green line on the screen... I lifted the laptop and thought maybe something underneath was loose, then a red line appears beside that green...

Anyone have any ideas on what is wrong? The lines are still there, for two days. I don't drop it or anything, but just maybe I put him on the ground too hard. I searched on the internet and get the results of "broken screen", "broken video card", "Reinstall video card", "some things are cowards"... no idea what to do. If anyone have experienced this, please help!

My laptop is Compaq Presario A900, is told by the way. Had for about... 2 years. Or less.

    Looks like this:

and no, I didn't sit on it or drop it, ever. This is why I still don't think that the cables of the screen are screwed or the screen is broken. Other problems, perhaps? Thank you.

    Hello

1TS restart to ensure that nothing works to influence the following process.

Change the resolution of your screen to a little lower - OK. Change for a bit higher than it was (all the way)
the lines change their locations or they stay in the same place? If they stay in the same place then it
There's a chance that the screen has been damaged. You can reset the resolution as desired.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Now this

Control Panel / Device Manager - graphics cards - writing down of the brand and complete model of the device.
Double-click it and write the version - now click on update drivers (this could do nothing as MS is
far behind certification pilot) - now do a RIGHT CLICK on the device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT which will refresh
    the driver stack.

Then go to system Maker and get the latest drivers (or the same if not more recent ones) - download - SAVE-
go to where you put - top - right click RUN AS ADMIN - REBOOT.

    C
    http://www.Compaq.com/country/cpq_support.html

I hope that your lines have disappeared.

    If not try this-

Start - type in the search box - MSCONFIG will find at the top of the list right click - RUN AS ADMIN.

General tab - note what settings are there now - select Diagnostic startup - APPLY / OK - REBOOT

Are the lines still there? If this isn't the case, then you have a program or service starting up causing their.

If the lines are there after updating the driver and using the diagnostic startup so I think it must be
a screen problem so you will need to contact Compaq.

    I hope this works.

  • Connect a laptop running Windows XP to a LCD via HDMI

    Hello

I did a fresh install of windows XP SP3 on my Sony Vaio Z series. I bought a HDMI cable to connect my laptop to an LCD (DYNEX 32 '') so that I could watch movies and so. Unfortunately, the LCD doesn't detect any signal from my laptop. Is there a solution for this problem... I have to install some driver or what?

    Please advice...

    Hello, mykhtarz

Since you have made a new installation, it is likely, that you do not have the required driver installed software to automatically switch to the HDMI. I recommend first check with the manufacturer for updated driver software.

There may also be a combination of keys on the laptop to change HDMI manually, usually a combination of # FN + F. You'll need to refer to the documentation of your laptop for which key can control the HDMI.

You can also go into the display properties and change the default view for the HDMI. To check the display properties, follow these steps:

    1. Click Startand then click Control Panel.
    2. Click appearance and themes, and then click display.
    3. In the settings of the display properties dialog box tab, click the icon of the monitor that represents the monitor you want to designate as the primary monitor.
    4. Click to select the use this device as the primary monitor check box. Note that this check box is not available when you select the icon of the monitor that is currently set as your primary monitor.

  • Laptop screen disabled when connecting to a projector

    Original title:

Hello, I am trying to connect to a projector Acer H5360 to my computer dv9750 Pavilion laptop under Vista Home Premium using an HDMI cable.

Whenever I connect the projector, or noting happens and typing FN + F4 I can have my proposed office or automatically after a certain time, my office is planned (without typing anything). In both cases, the office disappears from the screen of my laptop (!)
The only way to have my laptop active screen is again by disconnecting the HDMI cable AND it's not completely deterministic: it happens that the laptop screen remains inactive after extraction of the HDMI connector and until the power is cycled
My question is how can I configure the system to always reflect the tower to the projector screen, whenever the projector is attached, while leaving the tower still active screen? before, during and after the setting of the projector.
I would add only that I did not imagine it's be so complicated to just fix a projector. For example, when I move the same projector with the same cable to my xoom Tablet I just see projected! without doing anything more than the * physical connection *.

How many times do you have to press the key combination?

FN + F4 key combination is to switch between monitors. Try pressing the fn + f4 several times until you get show both monitors ON.

When the monitor of the laptop is turned OFF and the projector is on, press the key combination, the projector must be OFF and the monitor of the laptop must be turned on. By pressing the key combination twice turns the laptop screen and the projector. There should be no instance that both will turn OFF.

If it does not try to activate your dual display:
Right click on the desktop-> Output To-> Intel Dual Display Clone-> notebook + monitor. It can vary in defense on your installation, I use a laptop HP and Acer LCD as a second monitor.
