When should I use the IRIS PRO that came with my 8600 instead of the built-in OCR scan-to-text?

I just bought the Premium Pro 8600.  I installed the HP software, that gives me an OCR option for scanning.  I also installed the second disc, IRIS PRO, which is OCR, too.  When should I use each?

I would use the software OCR supplied with the printer during the formatting of the document to be scanned is simple and use the IRIS PRO when the formatting is more complex.  You should expect some distortion of the two programs well formatted.  Hope that helps.

  • When should I use the 23.98 timeline?

First of all, sorry for the rather ignorant question. But now. I noticed that quite a few tutorials use a 23.98 timeline. I shoot in 1080 p with the new Panasonic AG-DV200. What is the advantage of a 23.98 timeline and if I where to use this timeline, what should I get in? And then, what would the parameters should I export in if final distribution is for the web? Currently I have film in 1080 p, change in 1080 p, and then export in 720 p. Although I found a model in FCP for export Vimeo and who really look great. Bottom line... I am very confused. Is there a simple guide that I can speak on what to shoot in, change into, then export? As I said, I apologize for my confusion. I should know this stuff now.

    Thank you very much.

    Tom

Everyone was new to this thing of frame rate at a given time, welcome to the family.

Frame rate is a creative decision and a technical necessity. It can also be a ridiculous assignment. If you know that you are releasing a project than a film House, turn in 23.98. But less frames per second indicates your shutter can be opened a little longer for some sweet butter blurry but this is not always desirable and a few cameras will use a conversion process to bake to look like 24 of 30 frames per second. You know your equipment. More images gives you the opportunity to throw some away, farther in the post. Or say that you know that your car breaks down and explosions will require ultra slow so you shoot at 60, 120 or 10,000 frames per second (with specialized equipment).

But there are tons of other creative and technical factors and the buffs will be in line with the suggestions for you. Try a simple search of "when shooting 23.98?" and you will find links to dozens of sites explainer and forums.

We never pull at 23.98, but we, for effect, added a filter of conversion of frame projection film for a group of people watching a film projected on a screen. Our corporate stuff is always distributed online and it is (almost) always 30 fps (or is it 29.97) but sometimes 60 (or is it 59.94?).

  • I have a Dell computer that came with Windows XP Home edition. When I start my computer the monitoring of ERROR appears: RUNDLL error loading \3\DLBUtime.dll

    Error loading \3\DLBUtime.dll

I have a Dell computer that came with Windows XP Home edition.  When I start my computer the monitoring of ERROR appears: RUNDLL error loading specified not found \3\DLBUtime.dll module

I just click 'ok' and he goes, but, as for what it stop popping up everytime I start my computer.

Can someone help me with this?

    Aprilm,

You are LuLu5119, who posted a question last August?

If this isn't the case, you should have started your own thread.  If so (and even if not), you should have responded to questions about Dell printers.

Assuming that you complain of a "Error loading \3\DLBUtime.dll" message that appears when you start your computer, you should know that the DLBUtime.dll file probably has something to do with the software from Dell which has been partially deleted, but could also be indicative of malware as well as partially withdrawn.

In both cases, the best way for start you to prevent the message at windows is to download Autoruns http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

Install the Autoruns and let it complete the scan of your computer.  Then click on the "Connection" tab and uncheck the following entry:

Look for an entry that has 'DLBUCATS' in the first column.  If you do not see that, look for "rundll32 \3\dlbutime.dll" in the last column ("path of the Image).

Uncheck that entry, close Autoruns and restart your computer.  You should get is no longer the message.

If for any reason, you find later that you need dlbutime.dll running, run Autoruns and check the box. If you decide that you need never again, run Autoruns, right-click on the entry and select Delete.

As General precautionary measure, in case your entry dlbutime.dll was related to malicious software, rather than the Dell printing software, download the following free scanners:

    MalwareBytes Anti-Malware: http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware Portable: http://superantispyware.com/portablescanner.html

For MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, download, install, update and run.
For Portable SAS, follow the instructions on the Web page (note that the instructions assume that you use a different computer to download; if you're not, just make a note of the name of the file).

  • I have lost my Windows XP Professionsla installation disc that came with computer and I see the message asking me to insert disk 3 to reinstall the files. What should I do?

I lost the Windows Professional disc that came with the computer. I get a pop up requires me to insert the disc 3 of which I don't have the installation disc. Even if I try to do a system restore I need the disk. I can't lose information that is on the computer and do not have an external drive. What should I do?

There is no disc 3 of Windows XP Professional.  Windows XP (other Media Center if I remember well) was a CD.

Please copy the message down verbatim - including the title bar - and who post here.

You can move this pop-up window on the side and also do all the following - in the order given anything of it periodically, you're already doing...

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

  • why I have no sound when playing DVD using the media. ?

I have an image of good quality but no sound at all when playing DVD using Media Player, but when I play the music is very well please help.

    Hello Jogly22,

Thank you for posting.  This can happen if the Audio track of the DVD is on anything other than what your computer uses.  We will try to change the audio track of the DVD.  You can do this in Media player by clicking on the DVD button at the bottom near the play button.  In the context menu, you should see audio, from there, you should be able to select different audio tracks.

DVD audio is determined by the configuration of the selected in Set Up Your speakers are involved, the type of audio connection that you use to connect your computer to your speakers or stereo receiver and audio settings of the DVD in Windows Media Center. For more information on the configuration of the speakers in Windows Media Center.  Also, the availability of audio digital is based on the options that are enabled by the audio hardware that is installed on your computer. For more information about the features of your audio hardware, refer to the documentation that came with your computer.

Please let me know if this helps you.

You can use any DVI monitor DVI port directly or have any VGA monitor with the power that you adapter. A HDMI monitor might work with an adapter DVI to HDMI in a pinch, but HDMI tends to be more fickle.

You can not delete Defender in Vista.

It is part of the Vista operating system.

You can only activate / it:

Enable or disable the Windows Defender

Many anti-virus have conflict Defender (McAfee, AVG, etc.), and turn it out / conflict with it.

  • Can I install a copy of Windows 7 retail and use the OEM key that came with my system to activate it?

    Help me asus laptop n55sf
I bought asus n55sf notebook, The OEM OS (Windows 7 Home Premium) it comes preinstalled without any image or cd and I want to ask to download an original copy of Windows 7 Home Premium from microsoft using the key provided with the laptop

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.

    Another option:

Download the Windows 7 ISO Image

For 2 years, I used the built in camera 1.3, somehow suddenly dissappeared and when I click on says it is not installed, I don't want to go into a repair shop because they charge you too much money. Please help, thanks. my pc is windows 7.

Original title: built in webcam 1.3

    Hi, Nancy,.

Control Panel > add a device

Windows will search for devices connected to your system, but not installed. Click on the name of the webcam which shows in the search box and then click "next".

Choose whether you want Windows to search for the device driver webcam using Windows Update on the Internet, or if you prefer research of Device Manager to the driver using a disc provided by the manufacturer of your laptop. Most of the drivers are on the system recovery disk included with your laptop, if you choose to add the driver from the disk. Check the box of your choice, then click on "next >" to continue.

Wait while Windows searches from the driver using Windows Update, if that is your choice. There's an active Internet connection for Windows to do successfully. Allow the computer to install the driver and then restart the system for the webcam to be recognized by the system.

Otherwise, you can use the system recovery disk or a driver downloaded directly from the manufacturer of your laptop to install the driver without using search Windows Update.

Open the CD/DVD-ROM drive and insert the disc of recovery system or place the driver downloaded from the manufacturer in a directory of files easily accessible on your PC, or on the desktop, or in your 'My Documents' folder.

Choose the option 'install the software automatically (recommended)' into the application 'Add a device', then press on "Next >" to start looking for your webcam driver. The Hardware Wizard will search the system recovery disk and automatically installs the driver. Press 'Finish' to close the wizard, and then restart the computer to allow the recognition of the webcam. Choose the option "Install the software manually" in order to access the location of the driver where you saved the driver and install it from there. Use the open file manager and search for the driver. Click on the ' next > ' button to install the driver, and then restart the computer to add webcam functionality. -ehow.com

  • I'm having a problem on line when someone else uses the same router, error message: there is an IP address conflict

Original title: I'm having a problem online when someone else uses the same router I have...

I bought a new laptop with windows 7 premium. I connect to the internet through an external modem dsl and a wireless belkin n router. My daughter has an Android and uses the same connection... The problem is that we cannot not be online at the same time... If shes online using his android I can't connect using the laptop and if Im online using the laptop, she can't get online using his android... The error message indicates that there is a conflict of IP address... And sometimes says that there is a dns error... How can I fix this problem so that we can surf the net using the same connection?

    Hello

Router is the gateway to the Internet, and it assigns the IP address for different devices. With the error message, you have so many IP address conflict, it seems that the IP address is not assigned correctly on the router.

I suggest that you turn off all devices, reset the router and turn on the router. Once that is done turn the whole one and try to connect to the Internet.

For assistance on this, you can contact your router manufacturer or Internet service provider.

    Hope the information is useful.

    k,

It looks like you might be haunted by the Align attribute to the ghost of the pixel grid.

You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher. It is crucial that the checkbox is disabled completely, not just a - which also count as ticked.

It may be noted that even align with the pixel grid is cleared with all the selected objects, align new objects to the pixel grid is checked as the creation of new objects will result in these new objects being aligned, even when they are created from existing objects that can happen with Pathfinder operations.

You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.
