  I just bought the Premium Pro 8600.  I installed the HP software, that gives me an OCR option for scanning.  I also installed the second disc, IRIS PRO, which is OCR, too.  When should I use each?

  I would use the software OCR supplied with the printer during the formatting of the document to be scanned is simple and use the IRIS PRO when the formatting is more complex.  You should expect some distortion of the two programs well formatted.  Hope that helps.

  First of all, sorry for the rather ignorant question. But now. I noticed that quite a few tutorials use a 23.98 timeline. I shoot in 1080 p with the new Panasonic AG-DV200. What is the advantage of a 23.98 timeline and if I where to use this timeline, what should I get in? And then, what would the parameters should I export in if final distribution is for the web? Currently I have film in 1080 p, change in 1080 p, and then export in 720 p. Although I found a model in FCP for export Vimeo and who really look great. Bottom line... I am very confused. Is there a simple guide that I can speak on what to shoot in, change into, then export? As I said, I apologize for my confusion. I should know this stuff now.

  Everyone was new to this thing of frame rate at a given time, welcome to the family.

  Frame rate is a creative decision and a technical necessity. It can also be a ridiculous assignment. If you know that you are releasing a project than a film House, turn in 23.98. But less frames per second indicates your shutter can be opened a little longer for some sweet butter blurry but this is not always desirable and a few cameras will use a conversion process to bake to look like 24 of 30 frames per second. You know your equipment. More images gives you the opportunity to throw some away, farther in the post. Or say that you know that your car breaks down and explosions will require ultra slow so you shoot at 60, 120 or 10,000 frames per second (with specialized equipment).

  But there are tons of other creative and technical factors and the buffs will be in line with the suggestions for you. Try a simple search of "when shooting 23.98?" and you will find links to dozens of sites explainer and forums.

  We never pull at 23.98, but we, for effect, added a filter of conversion of frame projection film for a group of people watching a film projected on a screen. Our corporate stuff is always distributed online and it is (almost) always 30 fps (or is it 29.97) but sometimes 60 (or is it 59.94?).

  I was curious, if other members of the community never use Microsoft Paint for tasks and if so what?

  In addition, should I do this or would it benefit me to use Photoshop for resizing and cropping of images?  I intend using Photoshop, but I rarely have it open since I mostly use development within the CS5 programs and there are orders of magnitude more time to open Photoshop painting.  But even with a Fireworks image and running attended Fireworks I still through my image in paint because it seems faster.  Am I stupid? Should I give up painting? Some shortcut keys for this task would be probably better ahhhh... any idea?

  I don't think I've used MS Paint, since on Windows 2.0. I didn't even know it was still there.

  I just use PS for everything, except JPEG, with butt header information, the PS does not open. Then I just use ThumbsPlus, or IrfanView, open, and then save it with the appropriate header information.

  I did all the data on the algorithms of scaling (resizing) in the paint, but would think that PS would be better. They offer a good range of choice, but perhaps only a similar painting? Even when cropping. What part of these operations do you find easier in the paint?

  If I use PS a lot and have for a long time, image editing software is just a tool in a process. Using the appropriate tool, or that the artist is no longer at ease, is the trick. I use the (now Corel) painter for a large number of treatments, but almost always end up in PS. Over the decades, PS became closest to painter, as in days past. Yet, there are treatments that I want to apply to the painter, and some of those choices will be my personal comfort level. I have something very similar to my most recent PS, but if I know that each step by heart in painter, my comfort level increases.

  Use what you like for different operations, but I have a Visual control with surgery, as the scale/resize. Do the same exact operation of each program, using the same base Image and the same exact settings. Compare the results of two critical programs.

  Not always necessary, of course, but if your movie is loaded by another movie and you try and stage of reference in the constructor, that it won't work - that the constructor runs until your file is completely loaded. In this case, you can use added_to_stage.

  Archives and local folders are not related. You can create an Archive folder under "Local folders" account however.

  All the time. in my opinion there is no need to disconnect. But that's just me. iCloud works in the background. synchronizes photos, bookmarks, passwords, etc. All data, which must be recovered, when for example you lose your phone.

  I agree with the previous user. I never installed all the patches page download Toshiba, just used Windows Update option in Explorer. So far, I've never noticed some problems.

  If you clean the OS installation I recommend you to install SP2 (if missing) and after doing this run Windows updates.

  I can't tell you much on Intel, but I repeatedly used newer drivers directly from the Intel download page.

  Something this two modes:

  The difference between the standby and Hibernation mode is the method of saving the State of the system data:
  -in standby mode, the RAM is used to save the State of the data, and therefore, the RAM is always fed in order to maintain the saved state.
  -in hibernation mode, the State of data is saved on the hard disk, in a special file called Toshiber.dat.

  Standby mode keeps the saved state of the computer for only a few days, that is until the battery is empty.
  Hibernation can persist the State of the data indefinitely, but start and stop times are longer than with the Standby mode and require more energy while saving and recovery of State data.

  1. Yes, I think that this McAfee product not suitable for the configuration of your computer. It can slow down your computer.

  McAfee may be able to detect the virus/malware but is know that it is not the fast/more lighter AV.

  I suggest you completely uninstall and restart your computer.
