You can also try disabling add-ons and check if you still get the same error.

 

To temporarily disable all add-ons

1. click on the Start button.

2. click on all programs.

3. click on accessories.

4. click on system tools.

5. then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

 

Before you disable a browser add-on, remember that some web pages, or Internet Explorer itself, can not display properly if an add-on is disabled. We recommend that you only to disable an add-on if it repeatedly causes close to Internet Explorer.

 

To disable permanently add-ons for Internet Explorer 8

1. open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then click Internet Explorer.

    The ASUS drive has yet to play a disc on this particular machine. Whenever I try to play a Blu - Ray, I get the error "unsupported disk in the drive." I did the following:

    -J' tried Corel WinDVD 9 Plus, same error 'is Disc.... »

    As you can imagine, it is frustrating and draining. My skill level is high with the material, but I am really confused.

    I use PowerDVD 10 Standard, which is supposed to read blu - ray discs...

    Link n ° 1 says "hardware changes may not be detected!" after the execution. No change to playback of blu - ray, I always get this message from PowerDVD 10: "There is a disc with a format not supported in drive D:"

    The region settings tab does not appear when I go into Device Manager. I get general, Volumes and driver details.

    Bringing the window even for my second DVD drive (LITE-ON DVD/CD Writer black SATA model iHAS424-08) makes performance a DVD region. The region is set to 1, with 4 changes remaining. However, do not use blu - ray region #, they use region A, region b... no such parameter does not appear in any window of properties of material I have seen yet.

    The third link you posted also gave the same results: no DVD region setting is available for the reader that is supposed to read blu - ray discs.

    I had almost the same problem on almost the same system with almost the same software.

    I had an annoying problem since this morning. I am able to view the homepage of YouTube, but whenever I try to watch a video, the player will work for a short period of time, usually a few minutes - and then Firefox will freeze. A minute or so after that, I get a crash report and Firefox crashes. Here's the error reports generated since that began:

    It's only Youtube that gives me problems. I tried Twitch and Hulu and each site performed normally. YouTube seems to work very well since I was able to access it on Internet Explorer without any problem. I ran Malwarebytes and McAfee scans since this morning, but the two have developed own.

    You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

    You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

    You can check if there is an update for your display driver graphic card and search for hardware acceleration of related issues.

    It works, if you can get it done before you get a BSOD! AND do not take the life of your computer in your hands by updating your video drivers. I do not really recommend doing that!

    Method 1: Try to access the site in compatibility mode and check.

    (a) open Internet Explorer in view of the office.

    (b) click on Tools, internet options , then compatibility view.

    Method 2: Disable GPU rendering.

    (a) open Internet Explorer in view of the office.

    (b) click on Tools, internet options , then Advanced tab.

    (c) under Accelerated graphics , uncheck the option made software use instead of GPU rendering.

    (d) click on apply and ok.

    Method 3: Clear the data cache in Internet Explorer.

    (a) open Internet Explorer in view of the office.

    (b) click on Tools, internet options General tab.

    (c) under the browsing history area, click on delete.

    (d) delete cookies, history, and temporary internet files.

    (e) click on apply and ok.
