  I have HP photosmart 6510 while 1printer-B211a.

  It goes through all the movements of printing or copying, but the page is empty. That's what I tried to do to fix this problem: I installed the new black cartridge on printer according to the instructions, I removed and reinstalled x 2 and the page is still empty.

  Depending on which Windows operating system you are in, there are different steps to choose.  Most likely, you need to reset your printer.

  Follow the steps listed in this document to reset your printer and see if that helps.  Let me know if this step or an other steps do not work.

  Thanks for keeping me posted. I found a document I suggest you use to solve the problem. This document is titled "the all-in-one is not looking for upward or feed paper in the Photo Tray '." I know that's not the problem you are experiencing, but the steps described in the document may resolve the problem you are experiencing.

  I have a HP laptop and an HP printer B110 all in one. I used the printer a week or if there are printing from my iPad I did through Air Wireless print and it was very good. I use my laptop now and try to print; I get no error message on the computer or the printer, but when I try to print, nothing happens. I get the printer briefly area that seems to be absolutely perfect, but it disappears very quickly, as if he does not give up.   I read on the printing problem, you meet with your Photosmart B110 model and wanted to make a suggestion to you, to add, for troubleshooting, you've already tried. I mean to restart the print spooler. Here are the instructions!

  1. click on start
  2. type 'Services' in the search field.
  3. open SERVICES
  4. at the bottom, click "extended view.
  5. search for the print spooler
  6. right click and choose Properties
  7. Select Automatic from the drop-down list, close the window
  8. right-click Print Spooler and select 'Stop', wait until it stops and then again right click and 'Start '.
  9. close out Services and try your print.

  I hope that help, let me know the results! If there are still printing problems, also try to print from other programs and try to make a stand alone copy to test the equipment.

  Thank you very much. Despite the age of the product, I can assure you that it was purchased from an electronic retailer of large surface and has no USB cable in the box. This does what you suggest, but it seems unlikely.

  I see by your post that you want to know if have a color cartridge installed in the printer for over a year can affect the printer. I want to help you.

  With empty spaces in the head of printing and impoverished cartridges can affect the quality and may damage the printer.

  The printer will regularly work maintenance cycles that use small amounts of ink to clear the nozzles and keep them clearly, if the printer is not used for long periods of time. Without regular maintenance cycles, the print head gets dirty. (months to a moment turns off)

  Lizzy-beff-Thank I'll check you for the reply, this thread of Bob Headrick. He will tell you not only soak the print head, but also run the cleanup utility later to get the best results. If go you through the process and you find that you can still not able to print. You can call HP Total care for the purchase of a print head. There is also a program known as the program level HP where you can call to find out get a reclamation printer at a reduced price. This printer will come with a full factory warranty and have an extended warranty that is placed on it. The only reason I mention this option is that the printer option may be about the same price as the print head and give you a warranty again.  The number of HP Total care for US and Canada visitors is 1-800-474-6836.   Just bought this all-in-one today. Everything works except when I try and scan, then get the documents saved on my computer. The message says "no found computer." I don't know what to do. The printer is connceted via USB and wireless on my iMac.

  I'm trying to scan a picture to my Mac.  The scan is clear, but missing one side (not the complete picture).  I tried to move the image around the screen area to prove that it is in the right place and it is.  The same phenomenon occurs when you scan word documents too.  It's as if the calibration must be adjusted to get the scanner to scan the entire image.

  To scan I select the following on the printer - scanner, computer, the computer name, print to a file, start the analysis.

  The default analysis workflows configured to scan photo 6 x 4 in. make sure you change the scanning settings to not crop the area swept as follows:

  If you use Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), make sure to install the critical update below, otherwise skip to the next step:

  Now change the settings as follows:
  1 open the HP utility and select your device.
  2. based on Scan Settings open the "Scan to Computer".
  3. click on the tab "scan tasks.
  4. Select the shortcut Scan allows to analyze, and then click on edit.
  5. in the section of scanning from an HP device, click the blue triangle to expand the menu.
  6. in the expanded menu now, open the drop down next to cultures in and set as none.
  7. click OK and try to scan.

• HP Photosmart 5520: Factory definition and "time".

  I have a Photosmart 5520. While I was away I used a different printer and when I came to change the printer to my own he asked me a name administrators and password before proceeding. Of course like so many others I have not the slightest idea what is despite trying many combinations. Then, I tried to find out what others have done and took the printer back to factory settings. When trying to connect to the WPS PIN, (which lasts 4 minutes), he repeatedly said "timed out" just before the end, twice when he had only 1 second to go.

  Can someone please tell me what I should do next.

  At this point, the fact that you try to connect by using the pin code WPS tells me that you try to reconfigure the printer to your wireless network. If this is correct, run the Wireless Setup Wizard instead. To run the wizard, tap the wireless on the top of the screen (this is the 2nd of the 4 icons at the top), then navigate to and select Setup Wizard wireless. This wizard will search your network and then ask for the password.
