• HP Envy 4520: HP Envy 4520 - black and white

  Hello

  I want to print a pdf file of the program (default in Mac systems) "Preview" in B & W, but appearantly it is not possible or it is certainly not easy to achieve.
  I tried settings, but even if they are correct, the printer still print in color (and this preview on the left side of the screenshot is colorful, which shouldn't be).
  
  If the cartridges are cheap, I don't care, the real problem is that they are expensive freaking and this seems to be to force people to use them and buy new ones. I'm certainly not one lives, it is not only the problem of this printer and not just a problem I could not find Mac OS.
  
  In addition to my accusations, can someone help me?

  Yes, you can use the mode single cartridge for the B & W prints. You will get a black & white output for the colored parts of the original print.

  I m chemical student here. And I'm not trying on the measurement of the pressure.

  I have a pressure sensor with the specification of 0 to 5 Vdc analog outputs and power supply 9-28Vcc. And I intend to plug the connector which can be used for the NI 9219 (4 analog input). Therefore, there are 6 terminals and I have to choose the correct mode voltage (which is the terminal 1, 2, 4 and 5 which will be used), is?

  So there are four wires for my sensor connector:

  Red: power supply (+)

  Black: Return supply (-)

  White: Output 0 to 5V

  Green: output

  Therefore, how to connect these wires to the national instrument?

  My previous suggestion is wrong, it's good.

  Red (pressure sensor) = + power supply

  Black (pressure sensor) = - power

  Green (pressure sensor) = Hi, pin 4 (9219)

  White (pressure sensor) = Lo, pin 5 (9219)

• Integrated video driver fails to load (Code 12)

  On my HP Pavilion a6040n desktop, I started having white-output screen followed with digital / analog pop-up messages and finally get "no signal found."   Troubleshooting I removed the video card GeForce 7600 GT simply use integrated video.  But strangely does not load driver "Intel 82945 G Express Chipset Family' - listed under display adapters in Device Manager!  Fortunately there is something called "VGA Save" so I can't see what is happening.

  The graphics card has the yellow bang and properties read: "this device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12). If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. »

  I tried uninstalling (with and without control "Delete software for this device") several times followed by restarts or scanning for new hardware.  The material is still, driver install always but never loads.  I tried the latest video driver downloaded from HP for this box and I checked that I have the latest version of the BIOS rev too.

  It looks like stompping of memory (as former IRQ conflicts) but I tried unistalling other devices as webcam with video to see driver if they would re - arrange to install but all reinstalls and loads normally except video!

  Thanks for the reply erico - the box running vista.  He had a weekend to solve this and the subsequent problem:

  The problem loading driver problem has been resolved with the 'ATI PCI Express 3GIO Filter' removal of Device Manager and patiently wait after a reboot for many PnP devices to recharge.  There are a lot of hits on this update of old hardware and optional from 2007.  It is not clear why this happened now when it was installed on my machine IN 2007 (before I knew better?).  But I must have started this problem with some recent adjustments - new monitor and drivers, other drivers, IE8RC1, etc...

  Then I had the problem of conflicting between the edge and nvidia 7600gt graphics cards.  I was getting "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems.   If you apply the effect to the dissemination of the colors (effect > Color Correction > broadcast colors), you will see there two visulization options called 'dangerous touch' and "safe touch". As the name suggests, these options will display out of range color only or safe colors only. If you apply it to an adjustment at the top of the stack of layers layer, it will do so for all layers in your COMP do not forget that these two are viewing options, they do not legalize the colors (that you have other options in the same direction). However, the broadcast color effect does not vary luminance account, so you could use color management, or to complete the effect of dissemination of colors with an instance of levels in which black of exit is defined on 16 and white output is set to 235.

  The thing with color management, is that there are values that are part of the NTSC, PAL or REC.709 (IE, HDTV) spaces of colors, but are still illegal because of luminance/channel values. However, if you are using a color space which clips these values with those legal during the treatment, it could produce bad results. If the correct workflow would be: use SDTV PAL or NTSC SDTV as project workspace and then use SDTV PAL 16-235 or SDTV NTSC 16-235 as output profile, in the color management tab in the output Module. In this way, you use the complete color PAL or NTSC spaces for rendering and legalize the output for the rendered file. Works perfectly. No need to use the broadcast colors effect to legalize the color/luminance values or levels.

  There is more than 1 then option you can click on who makes the black and white output.

  First check the first window you get when you are about to print something. There is a checkbox (lower-left) that if ticked it prints all colors as black.

  If it's not her, then go to the advanced settings of the same window (also in lower left) and check what color profile is used.

  If those who are not, then you should check the options of the printerdriver. You can get there by clicking on the properties button next to the name of printerdriver.

  I have a M30 bought in the United Kingdom currently I am in the United States
  When I try to connect my M30 to my TV via a RGB cable, it works very well but failed to get a similar result via S-video. The image is black and white and very fragile.

  Is it to do with the fact that the standards of television in the United Kingdom and the United States are different (PAL or NTSC) or is this something else?

  Can you recommend how can I change the output format of the S-video signal?

• Tecra A8-> S - VHS-> only black & white TV output and no sound

  I have a laptop Tecra A8 and want to view files DVD or video on TV.   Your ad made me really curious, and I did a few tests with my Tecra laptop. A few days ago I bought all together of cables and adapters Audio/video.

  For the test I have connected my Tecra to Sony BRAVA LCD TV. Just to be precise, I used cables and adapters follow:
  -10 m S-Video cable

  I tested it using two different options: TV only and extended desktop. I connected all possible combinations and I got the sound and colorful image.

  The important thing is that the image quality is not one that suits and depending on the resolution selected, but its was perfect. Please do not forget to adjust the sound volume on your laptop. If the sound is set on mute or min level you will not hear anything on TV.

  I don't know what TV you have, but I am 100% sure that there is something wrong with the settings of your TV. I can just recommend properly test you and do not forget that the right port on the TV is turned on.

  We have developed a report customized by using xml and the type of report output is Excel. When the report has missed that he completed with normal excel output is generated, we have a column called quantity and have white space before quantity.

  No luck yet on trimout / support, but 3.1 trimspool EA1 includes better support for column: wrap, trunc, format, clear, and so on.

  I tested my laptop tecra with both of them, and it works without any problem. Make sure that you have used the right channel of your TV.

  You said that your VGA port is ok.
  You you connected the external monitor that laptop and have you checked if you can switch the display to the external monitor?
  Please check if your external monitor works fine and if something appears on the second screen.

  This procedure would be useful to know what's exactly wrong with your laptop.
  If you would be able to connect the external monitor to the computer and the external monitor works then your graphics card is not faulty and the problem could be related to a defective laptop internal TFT screen.

  Can you please tell what cable do you use? Maybe a 4-prong cable?
  I read on some sites that a cheap 4 pin cables could be a reason for a black and white TV. Try a 7 wire pins. Maybe it helps.

  I own a Toshiba Satellite A200 - 1 M 4 model, and the problem is with the TV available. When I connect the s-video cable to the TV, the TV shows a signal black and white instead of color. I've tried the settings PAL and NTSC on the TV but nothing worked.

  Went to the market to look for if there is a fault of cable but changed 4 or 5 wires and the problem is the same.

  I guess one of the store people said that there is a software to convert black and white to color.
  I googled to find out more but ended up with nothing

  Can anyone recommend what should I do to get the color of the TV option.

  I have the same problem. I've connected the laptop to the TV of the parents and the captain was black and white. But the captain was fine on my TV.

  I activated the option s-video on the other TV and I got the color ;)

  I think you should check the settings too.

• HP 7520: HP 7520 - size output scanning image problem, excess white border

  I have a HP 7520.  For months I've been scanning black and white photos (one by one, not with the autofeeder) of different dimensions to a pin connected to the scanner code reader successfully. No problem at all and no grand only white spaces surrounding the photo when I opened the scanned photos. And I have nothing special to do this - I have yet to enter the 7520 HP set up menu on my computer. The HP 7520 seems to have missed to automatically size the size of the photo.

  I disconnected the HP 7520 recently for several days and changed my password IP. Now when I scan the pictures, I have a big white page with the photo in a corner. I read the other posts on the same problem, and that the following comments:

  1. Automatic harvest. I can't find this option anywhere on the pages of preferences when I go on the 7520 HP set up menu on my computer. I can't find even in the 100 page manual although autocropping is mentioned on page 21 of the manual.
  2. Clean the scan bed. I did it.
  3. Updates. All the updates appear to be installed.

  None of the above has worked, and I don't want to have to manually set the size each time, unless there is no other solution. But there must be another solution as the scanner worked so well 6 months without effort or installation on my part.

  Probably you (or others) have wrong change the shortcut to scan photos. Now, you can create another shortcut to analyze the size OF the photos and save it. The next time use you this shortcut to scan, you will always get the same result.  Please try to use HP Scan:

  Select your options (size, PPP...) and then save it as a shortcut.

  Moreover, the possibility of harvest in buried under Advanced settings very convenient when you scan several photos at once. I scan normally 4 photos and the culture option gives me 4 files, a photo of each.
