  You probably did not read the details of the subscription during your registration.  The $49.99 is a per month charge.  You can pay for the whole year, but the price is much higher (multiplication times 12 for an approximate expenditure of $50).

  I just bought a MacBook pro 13 ", which was announced as including applications like GarageBand and iMovie.  I had the installation of the dealer (a specialized computer music store, and Apple authorized reseller) a larger faster hard drive for my record, so had to download the complete operating system (OS X El Capitan).  It worked, and some applications such as Mail, Photos etc. have been installed, but not others such as Garageband and iMovie.  When I go to the App store, it wants to load $5.79 (Canadian?) for GB and $21 for iMovie. I don't have no need of these applications now, but would like to them available as a free download when I want to.  I bought and registered Applecare, but which should not be relevant and gave my credit card information to the App store.  I saw another response indicating here that sometimes free applications have a symbolic charge just to authenticate you as a user, but I see no indication that this is the case here.  There isn't a ton of money, but I should have these free apps with my Mac, right?  Thanks for any help on this.

  Click here , or contact Apple. If it's important, the normal process is to sign in the Mac App Store with your Apple ID and accept other applications packaged inside before erasing or replace the drive from the computer.

  I'm a film student and I paid for one month of the suite of student discount creative cloud just hoping to use it for the one month that I needed. Now that I do not have this software I decide to cancel that I did, but I was not informed about the cancellation until the end when I had already cancelled and I was told that I would be charged cancellation fees of £82 that I found to be very stupid and as a student, I can't afford the money with what I earned. So what I want to know is there is a way that I don't get charged that tax or do it where I am charged much less frequent? I find this very unfair and I said no then I would appreciate your help with my situation. Thank you

  To give you a point of view when you talk to Adobe, the cancellation fee is part of the user agreement that you accepted when you registered for the subscription. Then, they told you about this before you even signed. They have mercy (and I hope they do - I was a struggle once student who had to work my way if College), but if they are not, consider this a life lesson right to read contracts before signing their.
