Why my subtitles appear in the program monitor?

Howdy!

I'm doing some captions, body CC 2015, horrible on a video with an audio track.  I created the subtitle file, turn on the display of the legend on the program monitor and made sure legends I created (just a little far) are activated without a doubt too.  When I saw the legends in the monitor, I exported just the section captioned a. MOV file, with embedded captions once and once with them "engraved" on the video.  The subtitles are displayed, even if they are a bit of a mess (spaces, etc.), so I know that the first known legends.  So... why they do not appear in the program monitor?

Any help appreciated!

(- Jim 8 ^)

Looks like that the first default - folder > new > legends > video settings > new legends

default values for the Standard CEA-608

and the program, the default monitor - key > legends display > settings > CEA-708 Standard

Thus, with the legend, the program monitor's two default settings does not appear

for me to have the subtitles to display in the program monitor, I had to 'match' standards of legend

but, what happened to change the font size? Are you able to do? I thought I read in the legend help first, this type of policy, the size, was editable, so am I missing something?

  • The program monitor shows only half of the picture

Hi I'm new in preview, for some reason any when I open a photo in the program monitor, it shows that half of the picture, straight cut, in the Center (see below). I used to be able to see the entire photo and add the title and text to it.

what setting should I bring back to normal?

    2016-10-05.png

The first thing I would look at is the Sequence of parameters - click, on the top menu and ensure that the settings are - post a screenshot please. Your program monitor looks like a size extra-large, much wider than the standard ratio 16:9 HD or 4 K.

The setting sequence is the basis for everything in your project - if it's wrong to start, all you will be affected later.

Once you have a correct adjustment sequence you are satisfied, still images or video clips you want to use may not be the same dimensions/dimensions you chose for your sequence (such as 1080 p which is 1920 x 1080 pixels). You may have a still picture with larger dimensions, and then it will appear cropped as you currently see as its size does not match sequencing. Think of it as the photo was too big for a picture frame.

As Jim mentioned, you can use the effect Adobe path across the source to fit, however it can be quicker and easier to simply with the right button of the image on the timeline, and then select define framework - this will automatically go to the media in your sequence.

  • Export lack contrast compared to the program monitor

First of all; I'm running on Windows 10 first CC 2015.1 and using a GPU Nvidia GeForce Ti GTX750. I use Dell U2412M twins IPS monitors that are calibrated using a Spyder4Pro.

Any codec I export to it always seems to be the same discrepancy between what displays the program monitor (as well as the preview to export) and video after export. I used VLC, the native Windows! 0 Reader (film & TV), Quicktime and HTML5. I have all these images will appear less saturated and lacking in contrast. Play exported images on an other machine parts, even relatively faded image.

I've been reading a lot of posts on this topic, seems to be a common problem, and try to find a solution that works, none of the suggestions I've read have solved the problem in my case.

    • I checked the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel, everything is configured to use the Nvidia settings. Returning to the video player settings makes it even more flat.
    • The only one who came close it is make some additional adjustments when exporting via the effects tab. However, it's something drastic workaround with the overcompensated preview.
    • It isn't just Quicktime that has this issue, it is in all areas.

Y at - it a setting I have not spotted, either during the export process, or to set the display within the first I missed which would give me a parity between the preview that displays the monitor program and exit? This seems a little silly that the Visual tool used when the color correction and classification of images seems to be a rule in its own right...

Below screenshot shows the same part of a few images, VLC on the left and the program within the first right monitor.

    20151213_premiere-export-saturation_01.jpg

Thanks in advance for any idea on this issue.

After a little experimentation this morning, I think I can find the answer. I use some Look of Tom Antos LUTs as part of my process of dimming on my current project. Without these elements in the equation for the difference between the program monitor and images exported in VLC is almost the same makes no difference.

It is interesting export a file from .cube since Lumetri color Panel with everything Tom Antos LUT applied and then using this file in the ranking. .cube seems to cure the problem. There must be either something wrong with the formatting of the original Tom Antos LUT where changes to the image have been applied in the program monitor but were then omitted in the rendering process. Tom Antos READ appeared in or an earlier version of the first, and there is a kind of incompatibility. Anyway, to re-record the LUT as a native first CC 2015.1 .cube file seems to fix the problem.

I take this opportunity to thank R Neil Haugen and J. Simon for their valuable input

  • Cause of multi Cam in the program monitor PPCC. Help?

    Hello

For the last week, I've been editing Canon. MXF a five camera images shot in Multicam PremPro CC.

Everything was fine.  I progresses and has been able to export some preview episodes.

Late last night, so that the edition Multi Cam in the program window, half Multicam window becomes black.

    Screen Shot 2014-12-31 at 9.39.03 AM.png

Multi cam is activated in the program monitor.

The Source window can see the multiple in the sequence cams - as seen here below.

    Screen Shot 2014-12-31 at 9.41.04 AM.png

And the timeline has everything enabled for Multicam as well.

    Screen Shot 2014-12-31 at 9.40.27 AM.png

As I say, I've been editing this project even for more than a week now, and it suddenly stops the multicam in the program monitor.

The footage I had finished editing is no longer will show Multi cam in the program either monitor.  And the project has the same through other computers in this studio.

CC is a bit different than CS6.  It is the most recent update the PPCC2014.2

I'm looking for suggestions of ideas for what to do here before we start the project more in CS6.

I hope I won't have to go back to CS6 a second time on a Bill this year.

    Your comments are appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.

    Right,

So here was the problem, if any of you out there people are going nuts with what appears to be a broken project.

In the timeline above layer multicam, I was falling into the graphics. I cut and paste into.

In order to so I highlight the layer I want to drop the graphics on.

    As shown below.

Once a layer is a highlight that the layer of Multicam, the program monitor will show is more multicam.

Remove the layer as shown highlighted below.

    Hope this helps someone.

  • No video showing in the program monitor

I ran recently in a strange bug where no video does appear in the program of my first CC (latest version) monitor when scrubbing through the timeline. Hit the SPACEBAR to play / have also no effect. no time code runs, the scrubber moves not, nothing at all. This is a screen recording of what I see.

I tried deleting prefs, cleaning hide caches, deleted entirely, and I even tried the awesome tools more at digital Rebellion to see if it would help to get things to work - nothing helped. Just as a tip: when you open the same project of the same disc on a different machine, the same thing that is happening - so I have at least reduced to something inside the project folder. (??)

Also, when I try and save the project to stop out first to try troubleshooting, first DC crashes, and I end up having to force quit the application. After that, I see a file named project strangely pop up next to my original project file.

Someone at - it other ideas on how to troubleshoot and resolve this problem? I searched these forums, google, etc., but have not been able to find someone with a similar problem. Thanks in advance!

    It is a puzzle game.

What are the effects you use? In particular, are third-party plug-ins in game?

By chance, the two computers do not have the same model of graphics card and the driver? If Yes, then the first thing to do is see if a new driver is available.

If they have different graphics cards or drivers, so here are a few things I'd like to try:

    1. A copy of the sequence, select all track items and remove the effects.
    2. The red bar over the timeline given, try to make at least a segment of it.
    3. Create a new project and import the sequence problem of existing project.
  • EN: Selection/direct manipulation of clips in the program monitor

If you accept this workflow improved, please add your own voice here www.adobe.com/go/wish.

    Improvement / FMR. *

Short title of your desired function: direct selection of clips in the program for the change monitor

How would you like the feature works?

We should be able to directly monitor select a clip/active in moving/resizing/rotation program.  Even better would be the ability to SHIFT-click-select 2 or more items to move/scale/rotate them in tandem.

Why is this feature important for you?

The current workflow is convoluted/intuitive because it forces users to: 1) select a single element of amendment under the ICT in the scenario, 2) click on 'Motion' in the effect control window. (3) make the changes of the Motion to the ECW and/or the program monitor. (4) repeat steps 1 to 3 for all clips/additional titles in the program monitor that had to be changed in tandem.

Although this feature request may require implementation of the 2 step, first of all, allowing direct selection of a single item and later allowing manipulation of selection/movement of 2 or more items at the same time, allowing one to select it directly in the monitor of the program for now would be a major step forward by finally allowing to change the attributes of the Motion 2 or several seeds at the same time.

NOTE: For live clip selection work efficiently, including "selectable" of securities would need to be automatically limited to the dimensions of the text itself and not by default to the dimensions of the video settings as is currently the case, because otherwise, it would be impossible to directly select a clip in a title to equal video dimensions.

    2) click 'Motion' in the effect control window.

Top tether can be selected by double clicking in the MP.

If the undelaying clip is visuable and falling outside the bounding box of the element to overprint (in pips) you can double-click this also in the MP to get the rectangle encompassing.

  • The program monitor shows nothing

I just got CC and started to edit a project that I had initially started on another computer in the trial CS6.

Open the project, he has converted format CC, find the files and everything. When I preview the it, the program monitor shows black, but audio parts. I tried with a new project and add a few titles and still nothing in the program monitor. When I exported the media, he appeared correctly, but forecasts were black.

No idea how I could fix this? After Effects displays previews very well, QuickTime seems to work without problems, and I'm a little lost.

EDIT: Checked the file Adobe Premiere Pro preview files: there is a file called Untitled.PRV (my project is untitled) which is empty. Shouldn't there be something in there?

Running on a new computer, 8 GB of RAM, i7-3630QM 2.4 GHz, 2 x GeForce GT650M, etc. I don't think the specs are the cause.

Thanks for this tip. Read all over the web; It turns out that the codec packs is bad (I didn't) and decided to uninstall those that I donwloaded. First is always present, so it was definitely a driver problem.

  • The program monitor keeps going black in first Pro CC

    PC - first Pro CC - AMD Fire Pro (13.101 - 130604 a - 158071E - ATI)

I'm working on a project and the program monitor keeps going black in first Pro CC while I'm working on the script. I got like 28 GB of memory granted to the program and update the latest version of the driver for my graphics card. No idea why this continues to happen, but the only way I can get around it is to reboot. When I go to close the program hangs and I have to stop it in system preferences.

Under a crazy period if you can help? Thank you

    Hi Jonathan,.

We have not seen a response from you because you have created this thread. Please let us know if you have solved the problem completely. For others on this thread, a few things were useful to solve the problem of 'black screen '.

    1. If your computer is underpowered and outdated (especially your CPU and GPU), he will expose the problem of 'black screen '. Consider upgrading your components or by switching to a newer computer.
    2. If your computer is newer and has components that are well within spec (core i7, 2 + GB VRAM for your GPU, etc) and you get the problem of 'black screen', it is likely to do with your GPU drivers or you have two GPUS and the Control Panel has the GPU badly activated for high quality graphics features. Control Panel for your GPU is probably pointing to the GPU to lower power of two.
      • Note that even if you have a considerably amplified GPU, it may be an old one that does not support drivers for a new version of OS X or Windows
    3. The GPU is problematic, in general. Choose file > project settings > general and set the converter to Mercury Playback Engine Software only
    4. Avoid the update to OS X 10.11

    Other workaround solutions include:

    1. Open the reference monitor: window > reference monitor
    2. Turn off the track (eyeball) power off, then on again. (Note: this may take a few tries)
    3. If you have already updated to OS X 10.11, OS X update to the current version
    4. Restore previous versions of video drivers video drivers
    5. Rolling back to a previous operating system
    6. Restoration of an earlier version of Premiere Pro

I will mark this message as the correct answer and will add that other solutions users can have about it. Send me a PM if you think that your solution should be listed.

    Thank you

  • The program Monitor stops the video play list

    Hello

I lose the composite image of video playback in the program monitor and the Source monitor after a few minutes. Audio is not yet.

While the video plays, a random video color video screens near bar overall top 10 lines of pixels from the left edge to the right edge, then the video freezes on video, but you can still listen to. After awhile, an error message appears and the first to be forced closed. "NVIDIA OpenGL driver detected a problem with the display driver and can not continue." Error code: 3'

It happens on all projects ranging from different resolutions and sizs from 30 seconds to 40 minutes. I suspect it has something to do with this error of the video and pilots communicate do not, but something causes of creation to arrive after the clip, played some time to display. • CS5, no Audio output of the Source monitor, but output OK for the program monitor

    Hi all

Any thoughts on why audio output would be audible during playback in a timeline/program monitor, but the same clip doesn't produce audio output when loading in the source monitor? In the body of CS5.

I checked the preference settings and everything seems to be fine there.  We have just added a set of external speakers to this workstation and those are the audio devices in the program monitor.  When a clip is read in the Source monitor, speakers produce a nice low hum, but the sound of the clip is missing.  The buzz that crosses leads me to believe the audio hardware is mapped and set correctly, but maybe not?

    Thanks for your thoughts?

    LIndsay

My apologies for the lack of detail... I know better than that.  Luckily I thought about it the problem.

The clip is Ikegami MXF.  The problem was that the first audio channel didn't have any audio recorded to it.  I changed the properties audio clip and disabled channel 1. Voila! The clip was loaded in the source monitor and the sound became audible.

I found the inspiration for the fix in this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4324033#4324033

    Thanks for the research!
