WiFi roaming in GSM - he works?

It has been reported that the 45.2.7 update beat Wi - Fi while traveling

with GSM networks abroad. Can anyone say if this is a problem with

the last update or not?

I'm planning a trip to Europe and normally I use my emergency phone

Basic (no foreign SIM - using spring SIM) and do all my email but not others

use of data (without the web navigation or GPS etc.). It worked very well for me

in the past time, I used BB phones. The cost of email data was nominal.

Now the Photon has also wireless and I should be able to make Skype calls

When you are connected to wifi. Is there something to look at doing this?

Thank you

Sammy

Looking for a way to solve the problem of wifi roaming between wifi and AirPort Extreme Repeater.

As my iOS devices need me to reset the network settings so that it connects to the Internet. And a few times have restart the device as well. Could not set yet!

the IOS version on all iOS devices I have is 9.3.1.

I tried two different repeaters, but the same problem exists.

Sorry, I know exactly what problem you describe... but it might be helpful to understand that iOS devices wanders very well to all networks with more than one wireless access point.

iOS devices tend to stay connected to the first access point what they "see" and they will remain generally connected to the access point, even if you move the iOS device to another area that is close to a different access point.

What is the problem you're trying to describe?  Or, Alternatively, please provide more details on what you think the problem might be.

  • WIFI and BT do not work on Satellite C850-F12S

    Hello
My friend has a portable Satellite C850-F12S who wouldn't start so he asked me to fix it.
I used a Windows 7 disc retail and product key as his cell phone to reinstall windows.

I downloaded the Atheros wireless, intel drivers and realtek, but none of them want to install. I have the seam of Ant to get the wifi or bluetooth, too much work.

When I enter the serial number in this site it is said that it is bluetooth and wifi but the drivers wont install and when I go to "network and sharing", "change adapter settings" it only shows the ethernet adapter nothing else. I tried pressing fn + f12 and the wireless led turns amber, but still nothing.

I ran out of ideas. Could someone help me fix it please?
    Thanks in advance

I can't read this specification for laptop (too small), but so deep is the product key, which means that this laptop model was offered with the original version of Windows preinstalled.
Before that you're wasting your time trying to fix something I recommend you install the original version of OS which includes all necessary drivers, tools and utilities.

I just hope that your friend have created recovery (DVD or USB) media because after your Windows disk recovery facility installation HARD does not work.

Ask your friend if there a recovery media and use it for the installation of the OS.

  • Unusable WiFi roaming

How can I allow AND prevent the wireless connection
networks based on their BSSID (MAC address), what
their SSID (name, default or custom) is the same and
change the SSID is absolutely NOT an option?
    Physicaly connect the preferred network
Wireless access point is also absolutely NOT one
    option. i.e.

Allow to connect / reconnect to the:
    SSID - Linksys
    BSSID - AA-AA-AA-AA-AA-AA
    and
    Prevent connection to:
    SSID - Linksys
    BSSID - BB-BB-BB-BB-BB-BB
    and
    Prevent connection to:
    SSID - Linksys
    BSSID - CC-CC-CC-CC-CC-CC

I understand that with Roaming there may be several
WAP on the same network (multiple BSSIDs on one SSID),
but these are completely separate networks coming
the chance to have the same name.

This seems like it could be done by
Connection Manager software with options for
"Do not connect to Non-preferred network BSSIDs" or
"BSSID specific roaming", but I have not found
all that done this correctly. I tried
WiFi Hopper and WirelessMon, two programs
support connection via BSSID, but they always jump
others if preferred BSSIDs network disconnects.

    To make a simple comparison...
Walking items willy nilly to cars
can work and be actually desirable in situations
as the Hill-jack - or factory production lines
Hack-cabins, but the average user is more likely to
make the connections based on WINE # car parts
regardless of whether or not it has the same
color by default/personal as another car.
WiFi should be no different, with Roaming being a
Secondary Option when desirable, NOT the default
    function of substitution.

My internet connection is lost at home after a few minutes. I stop the wifi, then turn it back on and it works again for a few minutes and then repeats. It works fine everywhere else?

Please see recommended settings of WiFi routers and access Apple points.

Despite these recommendations, some routers will work better with the latest Mac models if you turn the radio 2.4 GHz mode in settings and only use the 5 GHz. Note, however, that very old devices Apple and some third-party devices can then not connect at all.

Some third party routers have advanced that you may need to change the settings:

The encryption algorithm must be AES.

The group key interval must be 3200.

I can't give you specific instructions on how to change these settings, because all routers are different. Refer to the documentation for the provider.

  • Laptop HP - 15-r213ns: hotkeys (keys of wifi sound, brightness), does not work after windows update

    Hello

    I have a HP laptop - 15-r213ns (ENERGY STAR) with windows 8.1

Last night, after an update of windows, the shortcut of the brightness (F2 and F3) volume (F7 and F8), wifi (F12) and keys all others have stopped working.  I can always change the brightness and volume using windows, but I can't do more using the keys.

The function keys are working, as refresh F5 or F3 Browse. I noticed that before I had to press the FN key for this and now she does without the FN + Fx, so I guess that the update of windows must have changed something here.

They used to work fine before the update. I reinstalled the display drivers (NVIDIA G-FORCE 820 - M) and looked for new drivers or update drivers using HP Support Assistant, but everything is up-to-date.

I was looking for hot key factors in the page of HP drivers for my product but could not find any keyboard, drivers or software related shortcut keys.

    any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi, Marco:

The system of the event utility is supposed to get the Fn keys to work.

    Details:

This package contains the HP System Event utility for the laptop models running a supported operating system. HP System Event Utility allows the special programming function keys.

    File name: sp70439.exe

You can find this file in the Software - Solutions section of the driver for your model page.

I have to restart the PC with wifi switch in position-the wifi works fine and fn + F8 is able to turn on and turn off the wifi. But that put the material do not react to pass and - diode LED is always on (in case when I start the pc with position control on and in the case where is when off wifi LED is not clear and switching does not work).

    Hello

Different Satellite U500 (and other models) supports various wireless network cards, and that's why you'll find also different WLan card drivers.

Your U500 seems to be equipped with an Intel Wlan card and here you can also download the right Intel Wlan card driver for this card:

  • My WIFI and 4G are not work with specific applications, even though I have access to both?

After the new update, the applications on my phone are not connected to my 4G or WIFI network home. I tried to reset my phone, but the problem persists. I am still able to call and text, but it's using my data even when I'm at home. I don't know how to solve this problem. This would have something to do with a new application that has appeared in my settings: (null)?

    Hello Mia,.

I understand that you are having multiple problems with your applications and data connection. You also see an option to Null in the settings app. For me, it looks like you need to restore your iPhone. Let's go over how to do this and then sync thing back above.

I would like to start with updates on your iPhone. It will be particularly to the research in the App Store, as well as in settings > General > software update. If it's all the goo, then you want to transfer iTunes purchases to have a safe copy of them. Once that is done, is to reset your iPhone in settings > General > reset > erase all content and settings. Let it finish and then start downloading or synchronization of the applications one at a time to test. If it works, you can speed up and synchronize the rest of the file content.

After erasing and setting up as a new device, your device is now in a factory setting. Try again what you were trying when you first found the question to determine if erasing and setting up a new device solves the problem. Contents of the device could have caused the unexpected behavior.

    • If the problem persists, you can contact the Support technique Apple.
    • If the problem is resolved, a type of synchronization of content both on the device. For example, if you had a problem reading music, add songs to iTunes and confirm that they will play. If your contacts have not been loaded successfully, you can add contacts to the rear. After each sync, test to see if the problem is back.

Take a look at the article below to learn more in-depth details on how to do this.
