    John and Ann,

Thanks for the info.  I will contact Adobe tomorrow to confirm that CS6 nor does not support the Sony XAVC-S file format.

    I appreciate your comments.  Phil

    Hello Phil,
I can confirm that support for XAVC-S support has been added in first Pro CC.1 (7.1). I'm sure that others have worked around the issue of transcoding the footage. You can also download a 30 day trial of first Pro CC 2015 if you want to try. Just make sure that you update the application (help > updates...) after downloading.

I try to use "reset your PC.  Once the computer is thinking on this subject for a while it comes up with this error: "Insert Media some files is missing." Your windows installation or medial recovery will provide these files"there is a button"Cancel ". and that's all I can do.

    My problem,

I have two hard drives.  Who has windows on it and programs.  A second hard drive which has all my other programs on it.  I install a third hard drive, and when I did it changed my second hard drive volume letter.  I followed the steps to change my drive volume to the Moose letter, but this letter is not an option in the menu dropdown.  When I put the hard drive that had the letter of volume change to another computer, it happens that the drive letter in the correct volume:

So, I need to run my programs.  I tried to re - install or uninstall some key programs, but I get an error that it can't uninstall, and it cannot install because it first tries to uninstall.  (example, I get the error message 'Error' 'the program name "" is not a valid short file name "then it cancels the uninstall when I hit the 'ok' button.)

I have decided to all re - install windows and start over, but now I get this new error.    "Media insert some files is missing." Your windows installation or medial recovery will provide these files. "

My version of windows 8 Pro has an upgrade to windows 7, you only gave me a key in my e-mail address without link to download software.

    Hello

To refresh or reset the computer, you must have the installation of Windows 8 media. See the article and try to create one:

  • New log files not 100% usage

I just recently made my web app with new features to require my BDB to have at least 65% use of disk (from the default of 50%) and use of file minimum of 25% (an increase of 5% by default). At the start of my application, I temporarily coded an env.cleanLog () to force a cleanup of the logs to bring the DB up to these parameters to use.

I have deployed the application and its been blowing away the clean process now for about 2.5 hours. It generates a new log file of 100 MB each minute he tries to compact the DB. However, at 2:30, I just ran DbSpace and the use of DB is only up to 51%. Perhaps more surprising are the two following facts:
    (1) newspapers newly created vacuuming files are nowhere near 100% use
    (2) some newly created log files have already been cleaned (deleted) themselves.

There are 0 updates which passes to the BDB while this process is running. My understanding is that when the cleaner removed the old files and created new files, only good/valid data are written on new files. However, this is not the case. Can someone enlighten me? I am pleased to read the docs if someone can point me in the right direction.

    Thank you.

The vacuum cleaner stops turning after the cleaning of several files that are in the environment, because it shows he does not progress. He wakes up again to do clean-up as more data is written by the app. If you call cleanLog, of course, he will do more cleaning.

The FAQ contains a section of performance that you may have missed. The use of the DbCacheSize is there.
    http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/database/BerkeleyDB/je-FAQ-096044.html#34

In general, you need size your cache to your own performance tests. DbCacheSize gives you a guideline. Not enough memory to hold the internal nodes is strongly recommended to achieve a good performance, but your own analysis - including with cleaning of the newspaper - is the last word.

  • Satellite C50D-B-120: refresh your pc - it will delete all files

    Hello

I'm looking at a friends by Satellite C50D-B-120. It does not start. There OpenOffice files on it, but I don't know exactly where. If I try the "Refresh your PC" option troubleshooting it will delete all files?

    Thank you

    Matt

    Hi Matt

I found very interesting Toshiba technical support document in the Knowledge Base, and I think it might be useful to you.

    Windows Recovery 8 & repair
    APS2. Toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB2A03ES0000R01.htm

The 'Refresh' option is primarily a repair technique. It is a good method to return your PC to a known good state while preserving your files and a large part of your configuration. With the option "Refresh your PC", accounts of users, data files and some settings are retained on your PC without the need to create a backup or make choices about what to keep or delete.

This means that the data should not be affected by using the update your PC option.

  • Executable file cannot create files

I created a VI that creates files in its operation. It downloads files via FTP and also creates a config file, if it does not already exist.

When I ran the VI without building in an application everything has worked well. Now that I have built in an application, he cannot create any files at all for some reason any.

The strange thing is that it doesn't throw any errors. Part of my application FTP receives a list of files in a directory through then a loop using the 'get' vi file it draws in the FTP in the Toolbox of the internet. The for loop to zip right through the list of files without having to download them, but acts like he did download them. Its supposed to wait until it downloads or expires. As I said though, nothing in the VI can create all files. I'm trying to create a configuration file, but it is not created.

I am even dealing with the case where when I use the 'VI path.vi current"from a stand-alone application, it will send a path like c:/directory/myprogram.exe/currentvi.vi. I analyze it to the directory of the real executable without a hitch.

I am running XP, not vista, so it's not like I need to run it as an administrator or something. I'm puzzled. I hope that I have adequately described the behavior of this problem for you guys.

    Hi Rex,

before installing all the drivers (unnecessary):

Have you checked all the wires of the error? Especially in the creation of your program file section? All messages of that?

Can you show your code (a light at least version)? You can replicate the problem with an example vi?

Will be the files OE be saved if you save on XP - Home user accounts?

I think not so much, and I wouldn't trust him anyway.

I use this tool. During installation, you create a folder in a location of your choice for the backup of data to go. I keep mine in My Documents. Whenever my documents are stored outdoors, a copy of this record is as well. If something happens, if you reinstall the program, you can return OE the way it was by restoring the folder you created.

This freeware tool backs up everything on OE in seconds. Ignore what is written in red. Which refers to another program.

  • Why my recovery disk creation program cancels after 50% of creating files

I'm doing a recovery disc for my Compaq laptop. It has Vista OS.  I use the recovery disc creation program.  The program starts and shows that it is creating files.  When the indicator progress says 50%, the program seems to stop, and after a few minutes, I get a message say that the process is canceled.  What can I do to create a recovery disk?

    Hello

This recovery process belongs to HP Compaq, not Microsoft.

They are the ones to ask about problems when you attempt to make the recovery of the disks.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/contact-HP/contact.html

Or you could ask in their Forums:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/

Here is the HP Compaq information on how to make recovery disks:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?DocName=c00809678&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=us&product=18703#WhenCreate

Create a set of recovery disks operating system

HP Recovery Manager to create a personal set of recovery disks. When you select the recovery disc creation process, the HP Recovery Manager examines the PC and determines how many virgins DVD discs will be necessary. According to the model, you will need up to ten or more CD - R or CD-R, or up to three discs DVD-R or DVD + R. The creation process can take up to an hour or more. Do not interrupt the process of creation.
CAUTION: disks must be CD - R, DVD - R or DVD + r using No CD-R/W or DVD - R/W drives read/write because the creation process will fail.

Create a set of recovery disks operating system by following the steps below.
    1. Click Start and enter the recovery in the field of research. Select Recovery Manager in the list to open the HP Recovery Manager window. Allow the action to proceed, if you are prompted.
Alternatively, click Start , all programs , Recovery Manager , and then Recovery Manager . Allow the action to proceed, if you are prompted.
    2. Click Advanced options , the creation of recovery disks , and then click Next .
The program appears to pause for about ten minutes while it examines the computer and calculates how many DVD-R or DVD + R discs are required.
    3. When you are prompted, put a blank disc in the optical disc drive and follow the on-screen instructions to create the recovery disks.
NOTE: If a disc is inserted before the disc insert prompt is displayed, and the Recovery Manager does not recognize the new disk, press OK to clear the error message, then eject and reinsert the blank disc. In case this happens, without loss of data occurs, or damage the computer. It just "stops" the process of recovery that the Recovery Manager to identify the blank disc.

After all, the recovery disks are created, label the disks and store them in a safe place. If the recovery disks fail when creating or damaged, you can order replacement of HP recovery disks.

    See you soon.

Is there a way to create files and the folder structure on the playbook Simulator and access via software, our application stores files on the Simulator and access them, so we can do?

You have access to directories in the application sandbox as the main "shared" area that will contain the files for videos, music... etc.
