  I have baught 3 4540 s i5 computers HP laptop loading all in same way and 1 gives me uphill.

  When installing Windows 8 x 64 I get to select region and language, see the drive and select Install.

  Installation windows screen rises and finishes "prepares the files for the Instalation.

  After that, I get an error message:

  "The unattended answer file contains an invalid product key. Either remove the

  invalid key or provide a valid product key in the proceed unattended Setup answer file

  with Instalation of Windows.

  I tried to install with all 3 of the disks accompanying different laptops and the same error.

  Only thing changes was I added aditional 4 GB RAM (Corsair Value Select CMSO4GX3M1A1333C9), and two-way on the HARD disk with a vector of 128 GB SSD OCZ.

  Any ideas on what and where the problem lies?

  Had a wave of bath (admitidly a little).

  Remove the extra RAM and try again.

  It worked.

  So, there's a propblem with the installation of Win 8 x 64 with the Corsair Value Select CMSO4GX3M1A1333C9 RAM module.

  I am upgrading to Windows XP.  I have a MacBook Pro with Parallels Desktop 5 installed.  I have this computer configuration with two users and that you have successfully installed Windows 7 Home Premium (retail version 3 critical lic) to the user.  When I tried to install Windows 7 via Parallels on the second user I came across the answer file contains an invalid product key.

  I was choose Win7 64 bit since there is still no Win8 on the vmPlayer 4 and I also tried to install as an operating system "other 64', but he stops just a message like this:

  Do not use Easy Install, select instead 'I'll install operating system later' and install then create a normal life.

  I recently did a fresh install of FCP 7 on my MacPro.

  I upgraded to final cut PRO 7.0.3

  I have FCP X installed (but it settles into its own Applications folder)

  I copied and recopied the settings of Applications / Final Cut Pro extra easy configurations

  to: disc HARD/Library/Application Suppoer / Final Cut Pro System Support/Custom Settings

  I trashed and re-trashed my preferences through the rebellion preferably digital Manager

  Not yet seeing all that ProRes easy configurations, but I see the codecs listed in my sequence settings.

  Google and the forums here were not much help.

  I'm not 100% sure on this issue but I don't think that there never were ProRes easy configurations. I don't have on the copy of the FCP 7 on my machine.

  There is Res Pro from Apple capture settings, as well as all added by a third party such as AJA for use with their I/O device.

  May be wrong, however.

  If I'm wrong, please let us know why, but my assumptions that are

  • Your old XP machine is usable
  • It still allows to log
  • There is no password required when you don't sign

  So you can try this...

  1. Click Start
  2. Click on Control Panel
  3. Click on user accounts
  4. Give your XP logon password
  5. Restart your XP machine
  6. Try Easy Transfer and him give the password that you set in step 4

• Easy transfer Windows - log file?

  Using Windows Easy transfer to move files from my old XP system to a new Win7 system.

  The transfer was to take 12 + hours, when he was about one hour left, I went out for several hours - when I came back, my new computer has been restarted (caused by an update of Windows that has been installed).

  Now I don't know if the transfer was finished when the reboot happened and if it was, if all the files got flies or not.  I managed to find an application of easy transfer journal - but it just seems to just reporting on applications that have been migrated and not the real user files.

  Can someone help me to know if the transfer is completed and if so, how can we know if all files transferred or not?

  To activate the full administrative privileges with a normal Windows 7 user account:

  Open an administrative command prompt (right click; Run as administrator)
  Type "net user administrator activate: 'Yes and press ENTER."

  That should help him.

  I have restored all of the changes made by Advanced System Care 5 now everything works.

  Advanced System Care 6 upgrades done a registry clean with no problems this time.

  It seems therefore that the registry clean was the problem.

  It does not look like it cleaned everything more then old software keys and the extensions that I use more.

• Sysprep with the answer file

  I used sysprep/Imagex without problem.  You wanted to change the default profile, so I went to windows 7 in Audit mode.  I created an answer file.  After sysprep when the pc enters the installation program, I see an error message about could not find or process the unattend file.  I am including the below xml answer file and also the file from the directory of the Panther setuperr.log.  Any help would be appreciated.

  I figured it out on my own - the doc has a section "6.5.4 configuration Support for static file" which basically said yes, it is now supported for static files, then a "see also:" link to the dads.conf section, that I'm not good enough to see there are now 2 new parameters in your dads config file...  All is ready!  It works!  YAY!

• Home Profile Answer File status still says "incomplete".

I've updated the answer file and it is complete, but the State never changes to show 'Complete' and is still showing 'Incomplete', regardless of how many times I try to update and save.  Is this a bug?  Help, please...
