  I installed Win7 on P300 s brother without any problem. I don't understand what the problem with your drive in Win7.
  Are you using the original installation disc for Microsoft?

  I am really disappointed and frustrated, I installed drivers before and the Toshiba driver on drive C file shows a driver by Atheros wireless and I installed it but it will not appear on the Device Manager.
  I copied a driver realtek on a disk and loaded, it appeared on the Device Manager but wouldn't work, came up with the code 10 error?

  When I turn on wifi radar it keeps saying "the wireless network device is disabled. Please activate"- large just give me an idea how to!

  I can't connect my laptop to the internet and it smells just a waste of money and be out here is not anywhere I can take it to!

  Can someone offer help and why not the manual provided with the help of these things!

  I think that this problem of WLan is not related to the missing driver, but on the fact that your WLan is not enabled!

  Then all first move the WLan switch on IT and then use the FN + F8 key combination to select the WiFi network!

  By the way; isn't your Atheros or Realtek but INTEL WLan card wireless network card!

  I installed Windows 7 Pro on my Satellite P300 and everytime I try to use the button mute etc it starts the program set button assignment but no options are available to choose.

  Can you please tell us which version of Windows 7, you have exactly? I mean the 32-bit version or 64-bit and you downloaded the package of value added specially for Windows 7? From Toshiba Web site shows also different patterns of P300, what model number you have?

  Have you ever tried to assign different functions to the button? For example, there is a file mute.exe as far as I know in case Toshiba should be assigned to the button mute. Check it!

  Maybe reinstall the VAP might also be useful.

  Everything seems to work, except the webcam.

  * Download driver Chicony Webcam drivers from Toshiba Web site section was updated. If you can't find an updated driver, try a new driver of another model of Toshiba.
  * Install the Service Pack 1 of Vista, or Vista Hotfix KB934374: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/934374 (KB934374 is included in SP1)
  * Update your e-mail software (MSN/Yahoo Messenger, etc...)
  * If you have another program that can use the webcam (e.g. Skype), make sure that they are completely closed and not, sitting in the system tray.
  * Try to close the bar Assistant camera on the left side of the office.
  * To stop the Camera Assistant software from running at startup, run Regedit and delete HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Camera Assistant Software".

  If this does not work, the best option would be to backup your data and run recovery. If it still does not work, then the webcam itself may be faulty.

  I'm unable to connect a Toshiba Satellite Pro C850-15 q Part No.: PSKC9E-01JOOHEN to a projector, laptop computer does not wish to duplicate the screen for the projector.

  The laptop worked without any problem with a spotlight for months, but its only today that it is unable to connect to a projector via a VGA cable.

  So far, I have tried to use the laptop on different different projectors, but will not work on any.

  I have a problem installing win xp to Satellite p300-133.
  To resolve this problem, I have tried the solutions:
  switch to ahci mode in bios and incorporating storage drivers compatibility intel to the installation cd xp with nlite, but none of them solved the problem.

  Laptop computer starts from the cd of xp and xp installation says "program Setup inspects your hardware configuration" and then a blank black screen comes.

  You can install the Win XP without drivers Intel Storage Manager (SATA drivers) but in this case the SATA mode must be on compatible mode.

  I put t understand why this doesn t work on your laptop. I think it's a problem with your Win XP drive. Contains this Win XP SP2 or SP3?

  Currently 2 hard drives, both are partitioned.
  Disc 1 - C and D
  Disc 2 - F and G
  Current operating system on the C drive is OEM Vista 32-bit HP
  BIOS version is V4.20. 05/01/09

  I want to upgrade the Win - 7 HP 64-bit operating system
  I know that this will require a format the C partition.

  There is no relationship between the BIOS and the operating system. Thus, you need not upgrade Bios for Win 64 bit.

  You can install the Os on C: and it will be able to read information on other partitions too.

  When I connect my laptop via a cable, all right. Only with wlan i´m problems.
  My router ssid is displayed correctly. I can also type the key. But then the router is not to be found.

  I use as wpa2 encryption.
  I think that Vista has problems with it. Vista has also the most recent updates and my wireless (intel agn5100) card.
  I tried all the three drivers on the side of toshiba. I Don t know what I can do next.

  If the MAC address filtering enabled your WLan card mac address has been inserted, then your laptop wouldn't connect.

  You need a Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit system disk. I doubt that Microsoft Win 7 32 bit disk also contains the 64-bit version.

  First, the best solution is to install Win XP SP2, and then register the mentioned patches. Then restart the laptop and install the sound card driver.

  I have the Satellite Pro P300 (PSPCDE) with the same sound card. Satellite and Satellite Pro have exactly the same configuration material just my Satellite Pro comes with Vista Business and your probably one with Vista Home Premium.

  With this machine of the company, I also have Windows XP Home edition recovery DVDs. I tested with my laptop and with original sound Toshiba recovery image works well. I noticed that this recovery image has Windows XP Home with Service Pack 3.

  So the question is why your own installation ends with this noise problem.
