Windows 10 mode 'sleep'

I installed widows 10 last night on my HP 15 laptop and have had several problems. I was able to solve. I noticed now that my laptop do not wake from sleep mode. I'll have to turn off it competely if it is in "standby". I made sure the keyboard is configured to wake it up, and it still doesn't react.

Advice as how to solve this problem?

Thank you!

I have a craving for x 360 and the Jesse solution worked for me as well!

Here are the steps to follow...

-On the desktop, right-click on this PC and select Properties

-On the left, choose Device Manager

-Click on the arrow next to display adapters to expand this category

-Right click on Intel(r) HD Graphics Family and select software update of the driver...

-Choose the option search automatically for updated driver software

-Your computer should find and automatically install the updated driver

-Once the installation is complete, restart your computer

I am now able to close successfully, sleep in and out of sleep.

Hope this helps others with the same question.

Help, please!  Last night, I closed my laptop and he told me it was going to continue to install updates.  105 ofr them.  I have not thought very well no problem because I was going to bed anyway.  So I close the lid and go to bed when he was to be updated on 27.  When I opened this morning - a full 15 hours later, it was still updating the 27.  So I waited and nothing happened.  It has not frozen as the blue circle turns again.

I turned off and removed the battery and then lit it back to see he's trying to return to the update of the 27.  So I tried from the laptop in safe mode and now it says "update configuration" but in a lower resolution. fun.  Is it possible that I can start windows and circumvent the updates?

    Hi Rab_Random,

What Version\Edition of Windows you are running on your computer?

Step 1: Run system restore and startup repair, you can follow the steps mentioned in the article below

  • Thunderbird freezes when Windows 10 fate of mode 'sleep'. SOLVED by disabling lightning, provider for Google Calendar and calendar Tweak

Since the update of Windows 7 Windows 10, Thunderbird has acted erratically. At random times, he keeps checking for new messages. If I then try to manually check for mail, it freezes. He meets some menu commands, but by clicking anywhere in the components (list the mailboxes), the list of messages, etc. does nothing. Sometimes, it opens a white notification window, which I can only get rid of kill it with Task Manager. More often, if I just close Thunderbird and start it again, it starts working normally again... For a period of time. The problem seems to happen most often when I turn Windows off mode 'sleep', but

    I'm currently under Thunderbird 38.2.0.

I tried to disable some add-ons that I wasn't really using. I'll see if that helps. I saw that he suggested that users with similar problems running Thunderbird with all disabled add-ons, but I also saw that it said that it is really only a temporary fix rather than a real solution and I agree. List of enabled extensions:

    Add-on Compatibility Reporter 1.1.1

    Check compatibility 1.3.1
    Compact header 2.1.0
Mark all as read button 0.7.1
Reduce to a minimum at Lac revived 1.1.2.1

Any other suggestions? Anyone else having the same problem? I saw a few others with Windows 10 problems, but nothing quite matched mine.

Thanks for the help. Until now, deactivation of lightning, provider for Google Calendar and calendar Tweaks seems to have solved the problem. If it begins to freeze again, I'll do Mode without fail a test.

It would be interesting to know what your system brand and model is and what your version XP and the Service Pack, but it's just a fantasy of mine that the Microsoft Answers forum would actually make for such things when a new issue is created.  This shortfall in crude in the development of MS Answers forums unnecessarily prolongs solving simple problems.

If you don't see a message like this:

No disk, Exception Processing Message c0000013 parameters 75b6bf7c 475b6bf7c 75b6bf7c

Until you can determine what the 'real' problem is with your hardware, you can disable the pop-up message by making a registry adjustment.

Before making changes to the registry, back up your registry with this free and easy to use tool popular:

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/ERUNT.html

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Regedit

Click OK to open the registry editor, navigate to the following key:

In the right pane, check the value of the ErrorMode setting.

If ErrorMode is set to 0, double click on ErrorMode and set 2 (2 = disabled).

Click OK to save the changes, and then click file, exit to close the registry editor.

Any error will always be displayed in case view the log, but you won't see any popups

  • Windows will not remain in mode 'sleep'

My guess is that there is a task is scheduled during the time that I put my computer into sleep mode.  When I say not to go in standby mode, it will often directly go into "locked" mode only.  Another problem I had is that there was a time where the computer would go to standby very well, but when I went to use the computer the next day, I would find the office running, meaning not in locked mode or "standby mode".  I have tasks scheduled for a few nights, but another thing I'm wondering is, when the task is complete, it's supposed to go naturally in mode 'sleep' if I allowed him to sleep when he is silent for a certain period of time, including when a task is completed, even if the task brought the computer out of sleep for the task.  Help!

  • P2715Q, Windows size and location change after the mode 'sleep'

    Hey

After that the monitor wakes up fashion 'sleep', all the windows are in the upper left corner and in different size just before going to sleep. It makes me crazy. Did not help. Found a few registry hacks key, but it can't be that difficult.

    I use following:

View P2715Q Dell, Windows 10 Pro GTX 1070

    Everything is up-to-date.

Really hope you can help me!

    #update 1

It has something to do with how long the mode 'sleep'. I set the Sleep mode function 1 minute, whereas the display 'falling a sleep' and woke up after 30 seconds or more. Everything was in place.

This isn't a question of monitor. It is a video card driver problem. Tiles from 1920 x 1080 uses two P2715Q sewn together by the video card driver to get the resolution of 3840 x 2160. So if the video card driver is slow to initialize the awakening from sleep mode, all open windows and icons are tossed at top left. We see this issue "tile" on AMD and Nvidia drivers. All you can do is to continue testing video card drivers latest when they are released.

    Workaround solution =
    * Spend 90% of your icons to the taskbar or the far left background
    * Close all open windows before allowing computer standby modes

  • How to ensure the backup of Windows 7 starts and runs until the end on a laptop which is mode standby, or could be put in mode 'sleep' when the lid is closed.

    Hello

Many of us with laptops with Windows 7 would like to ensure that, when a Windows backup is scheduled, it starts successfully and goes to full completion, regardless of whether the phone is first 'sleep', or if the user of the laptop close the lid of the laptop, which would normally the laptop mode 'sleep'.  In other words, how to backup Windows or Windows 7 be configured to wake from mode "sleep" and prevent it from sleep mode, when a backup is scheduled and actively running?

I saw a way to schedule a task that will wake the computer, but I'm looking for something more intelligent than that.  I'm looking to see if Microsoft has already thought this through and allow you to pre-configure operating system such as we have no additional installation software.

  • HP Pavilion g6 has a problem with the driver (s) interfering with Windows mode 'sleep'

    Hello all;

I have a HP Pavilion g6 (about 4 years) gave me when my daughter bought a new. I had problems with it being slow to start and slow to close (a couple of times that it has initialized to me on the Web). I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit SP1. Today, I ran a check on my system in advanced tools, I got this message: "Drivers interfere with Windows out of sleep mode" and this one: "a device driver for a device on your computer is cause of performance degradation. I checked the logs and he suggested I have uninstall these drivers, there are two listed, but they are the same driver. I don't know what to do here. Here are the details that were given:

    Setting time: 1.8 seconds

The driver (s) is/is up-to-date. I'm so confused at this point. I think that I need this driver, but that does not mean I have two? Can someone enlighten me? These icons next to them warning, I would try to solve this problem before that I have to keep the PC doctor. Thanks to you all.

Graphics card drivers are needed for the sleep mode feature. Based on the parameters of the driver, the availability of the mode 'sleep' is decided in Windows. Try reinstalling the drivers, then check: uninstall the drivers, reboot the PC, install the drivers, reboot the PC and then check. If this also fails to solve the problem, try to use a lower version of the drivers, by uninstalling the current version of drivers, restart the PC, install the lower version drivers, reboot the PC and then check.

Please note that the beta versions are not stable, test rlease only. Beta version of the drivers will always have the latest version, but it's not recommended to use the drivers because it is still in development/testing.
