Windows 7 files deleted a temporary profile. How to recover?

Hello

My user profile has been corrupted and I was assigned temporary. A few important files have been cut and pasted the office over the weekend, and after you restart the computer my file went because I was assigned to another temporary profile. Where can I find the folder on my computer or has been permanently deleted by the system?

Also, when renaming a user Windows XP folder creates a new folder of user the name of the connection, rather Windows 7 redirects users to the TEMP folder and kills the data after a reboot. It is a design flaw. Where are my data now?

Last updated: I got most of the files by using third-party data recovery software. If you experience a similar loss data try to preserve the structure of the car as much as possible a you can succeed as well. I saw a lot of similar positions in line with very little useful information about the problem of data loss, so I hope someone finds this useful post. Thank you.

Restore backups.  You do not compatible external backups and persistent of the files and folders that are important to you than losing them would ruin at least a few minutes of your day?

Not to mention step 1 of the first link, you said that you have followed...

    1. back up whatever it is that you do not want to lose in the profile folder of theC:\Users\(user-name) of this user account, If the profile folder still exists, to another location, and then delete the profile(user name) folder.

Now - if in the first step you did that C:\Users\(your old username) doesn't exist anymore - I refer back to my first statement "backup."  He had disappeared before.

In addition - something like Recuva * could * find something--unlikely if... especially given the duration of the use of the system has obtained from erasure.

    Hello
Some time ago, I created a folder of bookmarks in Firefox Bookmarks and added a large number of bookmarks inside. Today, I wanted to cut the record, I did apparently, and paste it into a folder of Windows 7. When I tried to paste the folder, the command paste has not been highlighted for use. I went back to Firefox and my bookmarks folder went from bookmarks. So where is it. How can I recover my bookmarks folder? Using Firefox 3.6.13.

If you have not closed Firefox, open the bookmarks library (in the menu, select Bookmarks organize bookmarks), and in the library, select organize > Cancel.

If you have already closed Firefox, or the Cancel option is not available, you can restore one of the automatic backups of bookmark (Firefox creates backups of bookmarks for the last 5 days that it has been used). Hi Randall,.

Do you get "Microsoft temporary profile" when you connect to the account?

This behavior can occur if the user profile was deleted manually using the command prompt or by using Windows Explorer. A profile that is manually deleted does not remove the security identifier (SID) of the list of profiles in the registry.

If you get this error message, you can perform the steps.

I suggest you perform the steps mentioned by "James V replied on 29 January 2013" of a similar discussion.»

Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
