The computer is an emachine and was purchased at a walmart nearly 5 years ago and it worked fine until one day it started to do this. I can't access any of my files or anything. It must be a software problem, because since then I checked all the problems of material possible and found nothing. the result of this is that I can't use my computer. It is a desktop computer and was reliable until it happened. I'm not sure of the cause, and I think it's something wrong with the operating system. Hello Sarika
Thanks for your help.
It's not that simple I thought he'd be when I used your method that whenever I tried to uncheck 'Use graphics processor' Lightroom 6 crashed.
At least you put me on the right track and I persevered and found the file relevant agprefs of Lightroom web help and followed the instructions to change manually.
I have changed two files with the same name but stored in different locations.
Everything works fine now.
Thank you once again.

Worst ever customer service! Took a month to solve my request for an account that was signed for fraud with my bank details, and would not deliver even a refund of $1 for fraudulent use of the account. If they treat their employees the way of customer service treats its customers, not surprising that the service is the worst I've ever met. Bad form Adobe. What a month subscription pay you? Adobe Community
If your card has been used fraudulently to subscribe, you should be able to get the charges reversed with your credit card company. Not to defend the whole Adobe Customer Service, but in this case Adobe has no way to tell if it is a fraudulent use.

I have Windows XP Home... and all of a sudden I get no internet access. When I do ipconfig... it does not show a default gateway. I did everything update driver LAN, resetting the router, restart, by specifying the IP address (from the automatic ip configuration) and is still not available. I know that the router is that I can access it from another computer. any help would be greatly appreciated.
original title: default gateway problemIs the connection wired or wireless?
What version of XP, including service pack? (do right click my computer and select properties for info)
It happened just before this problem occurred (failure, virus infection, etc.)?
If this is a wired connection (which, I suppose, since you mention the 'LAN' pilot), have you tried to connect the Ethernet cable into a different socket on the router, (b) using an Ethernet cable from verified (maybe the computer that works), or (c) confirming that the Green LED next to the computer's Ethernet Jack lights up when the cable is connected?
Given that you know about ipconfig, it would have helped if you had provided the results of the ipconfig command. Here's a way to do it, but first configure the card to obtain an IP address automatically
- Open a command prompt window
- Type the following lines and press ENTER after each line
ipconfig/all > "% userprofile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".
Notepad '% userprofile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt '.- Copy and paste the contents of the Notepad document in your response. Close the command prompt window and the window of Notepad and remove ipinfo.txt from your desktop.

Updates to Windows Firefox blocking systems to blue screen since 09/02/10
Since Windows 7 updates tonight (09/02/10) I have blue screen crashes when you run the Mozilla Firefox browser. It started just this evening with the latest Windows updates. I have reported this here and on Mozilla and hope that someone set quickly. If this isn't the case, I'll have to restore both of my laptops to the restore point before applying updates. We running Windows Home Premium 32 bit, and the other is WHP 64-bit, so I know the issue is not limited to one specific machine.
Firefox bug Forum sent me this reply. Not specific to Win7, but leads me to think it may be something similar...
This has nothing to do with your problem if you can start your computer Win7 (not Firefox) without getting a BSOD.

Running Windows XP home SP3. eMachines T6528 AMD Athlon 64 3500 + processor, nvidia GeForce 6100 GPU
I downloaded and executed a double file Finder and SEVERAL files deleted by mistake.According to these instructions, you are not supposed to do that! Look at them again. They are on p. 137 (or p. 145). (P. 137, printed on the bottom or the p. 145 of the .pdf file!)
Remove all the drives and physically disconnect all USB and network connections first!
Then either start as you normally would (if you can) and select:
Start | All programs | System recovery | System recovery
and then click Yes.
Or if you are unable to start up as usual, you will need to press F11 at the beginning - almost immediately after the ignition of the PC.
THEN, when you are prompted to, you can insert the disc. :-)

Windows 8 HP laptop blocked on clear blue screen after auto repair.
My younger brother, who has a laptop HP in Windows 8, told me recently that her computer was broken. I turned it on and it works normally with loading points and logo of HP that move in a circle. Then after a few minutes, a brief blue screen appears with a frowny face and a message that says: "your PC has encountered a problem and needs to restart." We are only collecting the error information, and then we'll restart for you. "After that it shows that for about two seconds it goes back to the HP screen where it says now auto repair. Then it goes to a black screen blank, followed by a white light blue screen with which I can see get around and see the mouse. I tried pressing all the buttons I could think of, all the 'F', control + alt + delete, etc, but I can't really start up where it can connect. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

error message when you try to print from the windows photo gallery
I can't print the Windows Photo Gallery photos: failure of the Document to print - load plain paper. I reloaded paper, updated printer drivers and called Dell technical support, who said it was a software isue since I can print other documents as well as photos from Photoshop Elements. I get the same message when I try to print from painting and the image viewer. Looks like a problem of microsoft.
My printer is Dell V515w and is 4 months old.
Even if I can use Photoshop Elements, it is easier to use the Windows Photo Gallery. Any ideas?
