  • 10 Windows WiFi problems

    Hello

I have a Windows 10 partition on my MacBook Pro (Early 2015) retina. I use Windows on a regular basis, and recently, I have a lot of problems with my WiFi. Today, I completely lost my private WiFi connection and I can't solve this problem. I restarted my router several times and nothing has changed. I installed the Windows updates before - maybe that's the reason? Is it possible to reinstall the Boot Camp software? I currently have version 6.0. I can only find the versions 5.x on Apple's site. Or how can I fix this? In my device manager, the card network Broadcom 802.11ac is listed and even my router said: that the MBP is connected to WiFi. The network card is also says that I'm connected to the network, but access is limited (no internet access). WiFi works fine on my other devices like my iPhone 6 s. If you need anything else to know, feel free to ask.

    Thank you in advance.

  • WLAN / WiFi problem after 10 Windows upgrade

After an upgrade to Windows 10, WiFi seems to have been turned off, and when I try to activate it with Fn + F8, it says I need to activate the WiFi switch but there is no physical switch WiFi on this laptop model. And no luck trying to activate it right click on the adapter, via Windows GUI or the WiFi icon on the keyboard.

Tried to install the latest drivers for Realtek WiFi adapter Toshiba and the Toshiba system driver but no luck either.

I think that this issue may not be specific to the Win10 upgrade... Opportunity experienced by those who have upgraded to Windows 8, but impossible to find all the topics with a quick search.

Anyone know how I can be able to work around this problem?

    Thank you.

I have the same problem, but my work around is to go to my program leader, Toshiba, Flashcard, button Support and click on TBSWireless. The WiFi icon will toggle on and off this icon. For me that only turns on the WiFi light, I then use the Fn/F8 key to activate the wifi. To check it works I have remove the LAN plug. It may be useful

  • WiFi problem after upgrade to Windows 10

    Greetings!

I read a few posts on WiFi problems after the (improper) upgrade of Windows 10. I have a ThnkPad T530 which I've upgraded to Windows 10 Windows 7 in September (too late to roll back). Here's my question:

I have three computers on my desk. This standard T530 running Windows 10, a ThnkPad E555 running Windows 7 and a Dell running Windows 8. I used all three last Friday. I installed Norton on all three Friday and everything went without a hitch. When I first started their return to the top of this morning, the two others came online as usual. The ThinkPad T530 connected by a router in the company, but has no access to the internet. I can connect to the hotspot on my phone and it connects fine. I tried to turn the WiFi connection and then turn it on again, restart, by killing and restarting the business connection, etc. Nothing changes.

    Help, please

    Ben

    Try the following:

  • Intermittent WiFi problem after upgrade to Windows 10

My acer aspire V3 - 571 has been intermittently lose WiFi for the last 2 days since Windows 10 Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade.

    The Aspire has:

Driver Atheros wireless network adapt AR5BWB222 10.0.0.38 Wednesday 2/15/12

    So far, I have:

    1. in the properties Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network Adapter, I unchecked the box in the tab property management who read allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

1B. Made sure flight mode was in the off position.

1 c. Forget exactly where I did, but made certain settings in another? location have been set to "Maximum Performance".

    2. check that the firmware is updated on my network router, the value 2 of WPA - PSK (AES) security.

    3. search through many forums to read the responses of people upgrading Windows 10 WiFi issues - seems it is a widespread problem, although no one said that the WiFi signal loss was intermittent, as is my laptop. Shots of the Internet for my research also shows WiFi problems occurred in the past for installation of Windows 8. (So far have not come across mentions of WiFi problems for the latest installations of Windows 7).

    4. in exploring my laptop, I came across a page of Microsoft Updates - SEE ATTACHED. I was surprised to find that these updates go out quite frequently during the day. For example, 10 separate updates between 23:30 and 16:24 on August 1 and 18 separate updates between 12 h 06 at 15:57 on August 2.  Included in the record of updates for August 1 and August 2. I am aware that Microsoft uses my WiFi to download updates AUTOMATICALLY. It is possible that this intermittent intermittent interruptions of the WiFi update download?

    5. this afternoon, when the WiFi did not work for Windows 10. I reinstalled as a dual boot Ubuntu 14.04. I have had no trouble to connect to the WiFi for Ubuntu.

    Not yet:

    1. I haven't tried connecting the laptop via an Ethernet cable to my router during one of these WiFi failure.

    2. my ISP is a VOIP/Internet, using a Westell and a single Cisco router configuration. I have not taken into account if they can be a cause of the problem.

    3. I read on a forum that someone corrected their problem with WiFi connection by changing their setting include TKIP security router

NOTE: I need to put Windows screenshot attachment 10 updates in a response email separate to this post as this post does not accept the attachment.

Would appreciate your comments and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I'll probably also put this on a Windows 10 forum elsewhere.

    Hello!

FYI, this has worked for me, finally a solution!

The strangest thing - I have uninstalled the driver Atheros. Do NOT reinstall it. After uninstalling the driver Atheros, a right screen Windows 10 panel immediately appeared style - either on advice of Panel or in the page settings of WiFi, was asleep, can't remember which - that contains an entry box marked my wifi password. I entered the password and boom, the wifi worked. He has been since.

Once again thank you. Mark resolved.

    Hello @jay05,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! The forums are a great place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I came across your post about the WiFi problem and wanted to help!  I understand that you have found the DNS errors.

First of all, try to review the steps offered by Community Member

    @Great-Christine-Tree:

First of all, we have a step by step guide to guide you through the process of diagnosis here:
Troubleshooting your wireless network and Internet access

A second option is to try the following steps:
    Powercycle the network:
    1. turn off your laptop.
    2. unplug the power to your router.
    3. disconnect the power to your modem.
    4. wait at least 45 seconds.
5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
    7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

Turn off the power to the adapter:
    1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
    2. expand the network adapters.
    3. right click on the Ethernet adapter / wireless, and then click Properties.
    4. click on the power management tab.
5 remove the check mark next to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
    6. click on OK.
    7 test cycle.

Reset the TCP/IP settings on your PC:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" without the quotes and press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

It can also help to reset the winsock catalog:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes, and then press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

    Reinstall the NIC drivers:
    1. download the drivers from here , but do not run them again.
    2. go to your Start menu/screen and type Device Manager.
    3. expand network adapters.
    4. right click on the wireless adapter and choose uninstall.
5 install the drivers downloaded in step 1.
    6. restart your PC and test.

    Test an ethernet connection:
Explicit. Test if the problem persists on a wired connection to the adapter hardware troubleshooting wireless can be directed to the appropriate areas.

    Test another connection:
Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that. Each device interacts differently with your router or modem and it is impossible to exclude the settings for this device until the laptop has been tested on another network.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, try this document published by Microsoft for network management issues: wired and wireless network problems. You can change the operating system with the drop-down list in the upper right of the document.

  • 10.11.3 WiFi problems (Macbook Pro end 2013)

    Hi everyone-

This morning, I noticed that my rMBP has updated 10.11.3 Although I was under the impression that I was not in the beta version more.

in any case, I'm a part of a home where the WiFi signal is sketchy (I tried before with utilities wireless in diagnostic tools), but with this update, I can't get any reception more. On the other hand if I boot Windows 10 side (bootcamp) I can connect... It is at a point (weak signal) but I can still connect. It's the same with an air of iPad 2 in the same place.

If something tells me the WiFi drivers have declined in this version. Is there anyway that I can change the TX side Mac power for example?

    Thank you

    Houman

So, I moved to another part of the House where I used to connect no problem WiFi and the same question. Now the MBP sees the Wifi router, but it won't let me connect. Even when I removed the router and tried to connect, it asks me a password, but refuses to connect.

In contrast, side Windows (bootcamp) has no problem (3 bars) and other devices can connect as well.

It is clearly a problem of driver wifi on the latest versions of El Capitan.

Sometimes, it is connected to the network, but shows a limited access, sometimes wifi is diseabled. Even after I troubleshoot it seems to work for a few minutes. but then, it's the same problem.

Note: there is no problem with wifi when the laptop is connected to load it (works fine). The problem is that when the tower is not connected to the charger. For this reason, I always the laptop is connected to the charger.

I don't know if this is related to your problem, but using the battery will cause the unit to run in a different way compared to the mode high performance when it is plugged. So you can try to change the power plan to high performance in battery mode. Of course, this will cause a more rapid evacuation of your battery.

  • E-all-in-one printer WiFi problem 3520

    Product name: 3520 e-all-in-one printer

WIFI problem ofline whenever we want go print

I bought a HP 3520 printer e-all-in-one, cause it can print ussing WIFI. But I am very satisfied! Whenever I want to print, the printer go to ofline and is not able to perform the task of printing sent from my laptop. On my laptop, I have windows 8 and I installed the right driver. Yet he expect regeister once more my printer and install the driver all over again before finally seeks to print. For me with the amount that I have to print this is does not work!

I'm regretting that a lot i let the salesperson talk to me by buying a Hewlett packerd. Because I have this printer now a little more than six months and already want to trow I have a very high roof. Previously I also had bad experience with a Hewlett Packerd printer!

    Hi idebont,

If you haven't already done so, please run the PSDR.  Find and fix common printer problems using the tools of diagnosis HP for Windows?

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector)

This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

We need to know if the printer or router is to lose the connection.

You have a flashing wireless to the printer when you try to print from the computer or is the light solid?
If it is flashing then the printer tries to find the network.
If the light is solid, it is on the network. Try to print from a mobile device, if they are configured at the printer.

Print a configuration page to see if the printer has a valid IP address.

    Printing a Network Setup Page.

Type the IP address in the address bar of your web browser. (Internet Explorer)

You can access the Web server integrated for the printer when the printer is in offline mode on the computer? (EWS)

If you have a valid IP address and you can access the Web server integrated for the printer, then perhaps changed the IP address assigned to the printer to the router. So the origin of the computer does not find the printer. (setting up a static IP will solve this problem)

Check the port showing on the computer to verify that it matches the IP address of the printer.

Go to start, devices and printers, click right on the printer and on the left, click printer properties, select the ports tab.

Click on configure port to display the IP address.

If the IP address does not match, and then create a new port with the new IP address.

    Close the port to configure.

Click Add Port, select the Port TCP/IP Standard, then New Port and follow the instructions in the wizard.
  • Explorer Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience into account only one user. Other user accounts properly.

This problem deals with only one of my user accounts, where the user accounts function correctly.  When my wife logs in to his user account, it receives the error "windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience."  No ICONS or deskbar charge upward; However, my daughter and my user account functions properly.

I did a system successfully restore to a previous point, but the problem remains.

If you are still having problems with Windows Explorer crashing, I suggest to consider the suggestion offered by ShadowKat:

"Hello people, it seems that some guys out there are still having trouble with this random crashes. I have the same problem, except that it happens every time that I go to my media files on my NAS. It seems that there is a bug or something with windows that causes this problem when you access a folder to storage media like mine, especially when the size of the file is very large (archive all my discs of film there for convenience and continuous =), about 1 TB of data). Windows capable of generating thumbnail images for your files and blocks the Explorer as well.

I solved this by going to my computer > click the "Organize" (upper-left) > folder and search options > view tab check "Show icons, never thumbnails" option and uncheck the "display file on the photos." This prevents windows to generate images and solved the problem for me. Less visually flashy Yes, but at least not need a cloth and restart is).
I hope this helps and good luck!
