  Let's see what's not there.
  First some general info. Each new Toshiba notebook is preinstalled with original recovery image. This image is also saved on the HARD disk on a separate partition. With the factory settings repair my computer option will appear in the advanced start-up (F8 at startup) and HARD drive recovery option can be made as described in Toshiba document you posted in your first assignment. If nothing is changed, this option will be there and you will be able to do the installation of HARD drive recovery again ad again.

  I have an Inspiron R14 N4010, I recently installed Ubuntu 13.04, removing the stock of Windows 7.

So far, no progress is possible except that Microsoft has discovered that he is no longer an audio in/out located on my device. This is absurd! My laptop was purchased 2 years ago for around $500 with award-winning special Beats Audio Sound System. I want to come back. I was forced to resolve the previous question myself and I wa slucky enough to find a way. But now, I am presented with an audio problem I'm afraid that I can't solve in my favor.
