(2) what is the brand and model of the mouse?

I suggest you to update mouse drivers and check if it helps.

Update drivers for the mouse in Device Manager.

(a) press the Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc.

(b) to expand mice and other pointing devices.

(c) click on properties, click the driver tab.

(d) click the Update Driver button.

(e) click on the OK button.

  • [Solved] After changing the mode of power Ssavings on Yoga 13, mouse blinks constantly

Before today, I've never had a problem with 13 of the Yoga. However, I changed the energy savings mode before my class to go to balanced energy and changed the life of the battery of life longevity. Since then, no matter what I do, my mouse pointer appears constantly as if he tries to run something (ie the blue loading circle bit). This occurs about every three seconds. However, after looking in the Task Manager, I can't represent what it would cause.

I rebooted the machine thinking that would solve the problem (as does most of the cases with Windows), but the problem occurs again. Then I thought, well, I'll put the power settings to what they were before them, I changed. Unfortunately, who did not resolve the situation either. The mouse cursor always appears at random with the loading screen.

I don't know that it won't harm anything, but it is incredibly annoying to see all the seconds. So, I was hoping someone might be able to help me and help me with this. I do not think that this is caused by any software I loaded on (I only installed four different programs since I have the laptop, which are on my desk and do not undergo the same question) and it occurred after playing with an OEM Lenovo software, I have a feeling that this could be the cause, but... I do not know.

I'd appreciate any help that you offered.

  • Switching windows with the mouse wheel

How to move windows on my mouse with wheel?

    Hi AndrettiSims,

If I understand you correctly, you want to use your mouse to scroll through open windows. Try the following steps:

    • Press the keys Alt + Tab keys
    • Once you see the box which displays icons of the open window, remove your finger from the Tab key, keeping your finger on the Alt key and use your mouse scroll to navigate in the window that you want to open.

If these steps do not resolve your problem, provide additional information as asked Ken.

  • Windows 8: the mouse fails randomly

I bought a laptop in October of last year with Windows 7, and then put to level to Windows 8 when it was released. Had some trouble before, it worked smoothly in the last 6 months. However, I am having some problems with my mouse.

As well the Mouse touchpad and my wireless USB mouse randomly stop working properly. Symptoms:
    • By clicking on an icon in the bar of tasks opens a new window (Chrome/Windows Explorer) or a new document (PPT/Word/Excel, etc.) When I click on the icons, a color splash animated in (different animation 'demand the opening') icon is displayed. This is usually how I realize that the mouse has stopped working.
    • By clicking on a link in a Google search, for example, opens the page in a new window.
    • Click on the desktop, select a group of files & folders. I can right click, but never a click.
    • By clicking on a document select a piece of text.
    • The start screen corner link is broken.
    • Windows key + int I is no longer works (the fastest access way restart)
Is this a virus? Windows Defender has not notified me anything. Security problems only these last were two instances when my Firewall blocked Akamai NetSession customer, but I looked and it seemed OK to me.
Whenever it happened, I rebooted my computer, and it is up to the good working condition for about a day, then suddenly it happens again.
Thank you all in advance for your help. I would appreciate any advice that can get rid of this annoying problem.

Is there a way that my computer could think I'm now shift

Yes.  It is quite common.  All you need to do is to press and release the other shift that is not "stuck".

BTW, what kind of keyboard do you have?   Wireless?  Maybe it's time to change the batteries?

    Good luck

  • Window and the mouse crashes when you try to close the windows

Original title: window crashes when you click on the red X

I use Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit platform).  Just recently, when I right click on the red X in the upper right to close a window, the window and the cursor freezing for about fifteen seconds.  The window then closes, and the slider works normally.

This happens to my office, although my laptop (same operating system Vista, except for the 32-bit version) works normally.  I use CCleaner on a regular basis, and I have the latest version of AVG anti-virus and Microsoft Security Essentials installed.  This Setup has worked well for over a year.  This problem appeared only in the last 24 hours.

Hello, Mr. the President Y. K..

First, as soon as the computer and then restarting it later in the day, the question has not repeated itself.  I had read on Google that people with this problem a couple of years, were not so lucky.

I have not addded any software, except to perform Windows updates usual a week ago.  The suddenness of the appearance of my problem led me to believe that these patches were probably not at fault.  When I went to log on to this second time, I had planned to restore the system to a previous backup to see if that gave me work around the problem.  However, it was not necessary.

No error message appears when the problem occurred, and the problem was if I was in the office or on the Internet.  Nevertheless, I intend to register your comments useful diagnosis for later use, and for your efforts, thank you very much!

    Kind regards

  • Stuttering in Windows XP, the mouse works in safe mode

Having a problem where my mouse is stuttering and getting hung-up constantly, tried with another mouse, same question. Everything works fine in safe mode, so I thought it was a problem with something in msconfig, no other startups don't aid (including diagnosis) plans. Reformat the drive, reinstalled windows XP, same question immediately, before XP was even born, so it may not be a new conflict driver or something. There is no change to the computer before the problem started, just appeared on a restart.

    Hello

Log on to the computer manufacturer website and update the latest drivers for chipset, BIOS (Basic Input\Output System). Also, look for other updates to the device driver.

  • the mouse is stuck, windows xp and mouse wireless

I have Windows XP and Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000. Since a month or longer the mouse crashes constantly and is gradually worse and worse. Disconnecting and reconnecting the USB works sometimes, usually makes no difference. Same trick with opening and closing the battery cover, usually unstucks it temp but will immediately stuck again every few seconds or minutes.  Its become rather serious. It's like a stutter of conflict not pilot a stuck permanent, it comes and goes every few seconds. Any suggestions?

Greetings, every weekend our computers at work are automatically restarted. I just Monday and my mouse pointer is blue sky! Well, easy to put back, but why is this happening?     To reproduce the problem: Reboot Windows box at work. Do not connect! The remote access connection from the Mac must be the first login after the reboot.  Go home.  Home: 20 "iMac running OS X 10.6.8 run Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client v2.5.3055 on iMac, connect to the VPN.  Run MS RDC for Mac on the Mac.  Connect to the Windows computer at work, which is running XP SP3 Professional v5.1 home.  Do normal stuff.  Sign out of DRC.  Disconnect the VPN.  Go to work.  Open a session.  The mouse pointer is blue instead of Standard Windows! • Pavilion 550-153NA: allow me to interact with the mouse and keyboard when Windows 7 starts at startup

    Hello

I am trying to downgrade from Windows 10 in Windows 7. I tried to install Windows 7 but it keeps telling me that "Windows Setup experienced an unexpected error. To install windows, restart the installation. "I rebooted several times, but I still have the error. Then, I tried to install it by starting the drive at startup. All charge very well and the configuration screen appears. But I went to move the mouse, but it should not move. I tried several different mice and keyboards, but there was no hope, both USB 3.0 and 2.0. I did some research and found that you have to enable 'Legacy Support' in the BIOS. I did this, but there was still no movement.

If someone could apply their knowledge via a comment, it would be very appreciated that I constantly tried since end of December 2015!

    Thank you very much

    Hi all

No, my laptop model is HP Pavilion dv6 1337tx. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. So, today, I shut my laptop down by force by pressing the power button because it did not at this time. Then the next time I turned it the wrong problem started. Whenever I'm on the HP logo sometimes and then the Windows logo comes also. But then the screen stays black and the mouse cursor appears. So, what can be the cause of this problem? I also tried to open with 'safe mode' and 'safe mode with command prompt', but they did not help either.

Note - I tried the method of discharge after taking off the battery and holding down the power button. He could not help. All LEDS are working properly. I have no extra monitor, so I can't check the display elsewhere. Also, I ran the memory test which shows that everything is fine. Please suggest what I can do now as I can not enter the laptop now. • In Windows 7, whenever I have fly over things, the mouse automatically selects elements or following the links without me clicking.

I installed Windows 7 Home Premium Edition on my laptop. I have problems with the mouse constantly selecting the items that I don't want to choose. I would like to go back to the way it worked in all other versions of WIndows where I click on something to select.

Do you know how annoying it is to bang something on a Web page and suddenly your redirect to another page because that your mouse has flown over a link? Or in WIndows Explorer when I look at the pictures & the mouse over a folder, move to another folder WITHOUT all the me clicking on & selecting!

Found the solution.  I guess this was introduced in Vista, so do not switch to Win 7 to XP people.  Repair, go to:

The mouse properties > peripheral settings (tab) > settings (button) > look (menu item) > then uncheck 'enable by typing '.

    Fact.  Fixed.  Gene gone.
