I had some problems with my laptop decided to format the hard drive and start over. During this process, my laptop crashed and got stuck. • Re leerichardson331 and how do I check if my windows is genuine.

Hi Keith is lee I can't log in on my old account, microsoft will not let me, I did everything you wrote down but now my internet explore crashes all the time with my internet connection, I had my ISP check the connections and they all work very well, I installed everything like you

He writes, when I troubleshoot my connection on my laptop it says that outlook is not configured.the another problem I have is 7 security 4 and 2 updates are updates to windows and the other is a flash drive, I don't have flash on laptop, they are all 0 x 80070002, I also get one for the critical security update from microsoft but IE installed my screen flashes still white but only when using Explorer. Windows xp security are KB950762, KB951376, KB946648, KB952954 KB950974... and update of flash player is KB923789, and they all have the same number of 0 x 80070002. I disabled avast antivirus for microsoft security I have lee badly thanks just remember that when the accident report Explorer it says something about hungapp and sends to microsoft

I would like to confirm where things are and what you mean by what I wrote down, on a format and reinstall as I understand it.  The last I heard of you yesterday was Miss ntrld and I answered in the linked thread.  We must continue in this thread if it's the same discussion.  You can copy this message here so we can be on the same page? Then maybe delete this message. So far, looks like you want to say that your network connection is not configured.  In your bar to explore, go to tools > internet options > connections > LAN settings > set check automatically detect settings and restart.  I guess you mean no prospects of network.

  • Windows XP Professional said that he has failed the Windows Genuine Advantage test. But I called the Windows Activation and the officer confirmed that my product key is genuine. How can I make Windows genuine?

I recently bought a copy of Windows XP Professional. I installed and activated Windows XP while I had an Internet connection. This went well. I then download Microsoft Security Essentials, who then informed me that my copy of Windows is maybe not authentic. Confused, I downloaded the WGA tool, who confirmed that my Windows XP was not authentic.

The Microsoft product activation call and reading my product to a CSR key, he confirmed that the key was official and I have to contact Technical Support. But Tech Support costs a bit of money, and I'm only 15 years to be honest (Yes, I have a bit of technical knowledge).
My question is this: is it possible that I can make genuine Windows? This problem is getting boring now. I tried to reinstall Windows XP and re - enter the product key (I tried an online activation and a phone).
    Thanks in advance.

Original title: old Dell laptop broke down.

    Hello

You can contact Dell and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks and to reinstall the operating system.

They should do this for a small fee.

If this method has not been destroyed by the last re - install, and if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

With a Dell, you press F8 at startup and follow the instructions

    http://www.Dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?docid=266618

The methods above resettlement generally do not require allows you to provide a product key during Installation, the recovery process uses the Installation product key factory to activate automatically during the resettlement process.

  • Vista asks to activate and insert the restore disc. SE message at the bottom of the screen: "this copy of Windows is not genuine".

    Original title: corrupt Windows Vista

I have vista business and I think he got corrupted when I went overseas. Now it asks me always to activate and insert the restore disc but I've mislaid and cannot locate my restore disk. Also on the bottom, it indicates that this copy of windows is not genuine? Please help anyone on how I can restore this back to the original.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

    See which way suits you.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Message on the screen "not genuine Windows 7' then 'join HP Smart adapter.

HP laptop, less than a year, running Windows 7, 64. These messages appeared on my desktop saying "" Windows is not genuine, Build 7601' and ' attach a smart adapter HP for maximum performance "."  I called HP, computer out of warranty is an extra cost, probably a virus.  I have 'Complete Care Protection Plan' of Staples - they do not solve the problems of virus free of charge, but he told me to start safe mode and run my virus program (Norton) and it should show if it's a virus.  I did that, he didin't show a virus.  I had a "Chat" online with Norton, he said, it is not a virus.  Maybe an update has not loaded right.  He gave me a phone number for Microsoft.  Out of warranty, I called extra charges.  I checked my "Updates" and found three that failed to download, so I downloaded them successfully.  Keep the messages.  The brightness of the screen changes also sometimes when I start so I must correct via the control panel and it sometimes takes forever to send an e-mail, especially with photos.  Is it possible to fix this without having to spend another $200,00?

    Thanks for the research.

    Hello 506,

  • Windows 7 Build 7601, now says not genuine after crash

Bought/installed Win7 Pro on my (aging) machine time Jan/Feb & activated product.

After a week away recently, my PC did not boot - just crashed.  Last known good configuration did work, catering to the highest point due to a registry restore problem.   Anyway, forced the cancellation by renaming config & software in the \system32 folder.

Then machine again, I'm immediately went to Windows update to ensure that it was up-to-date & then had "Windows 7 Build 7601, this copy is not genuine."  Had been authorized for about the last 7 months.

Have tried to change the key product & scoring even once again.  As well as the uninstall & reinstall it again once, but no change.

I already download Win10 install files when the option popped up;  Maybe I should have completed the installation. Although it may have failed.

Anyway, here, is out of the tool of diagnosis of MGA.   I hope someone can advise:

    Thanks in advance.

I spoke with MS support.  The representative has essentially kept repeating that the product key was not for home/use; later mentioned he has a license of the company & had been used several times.

However, he had no answer to come as to how is it this had been works well for 8 months & problems have emerged since my start/disk/registry problems.

It takes time for this abuse be detected by Microsoft because it is a Multiple Activation key (a lot of PC have or will have the same problem) that very probably activated too many times (each key has an activation limit)

I also tried to find more information as to where the key was first used / details of other activations (in the case where was my repeated recent attempts during the activation/validation was just suspended);  but only repeated representative key is blocked.

They may not know / have a record of when it has been used first.

Y at - it other advice? My Win7 installation has been very recently posted just grab the update Win10 install files;   However, I'm guessing that it's probably not worth trying to go down that path right now?

Since you have not a valid Windows 7 key from the upgrade of Windows 10 can install but most probably (but not immediately) detects the invalid key and also go "(Non authentique)."

Of course, if it turns out that I need to splash £100 on a 'get genuine' license then I will - but was hoping to get data confirming the situation [seems that my previous purchase by Amazon will not get any farther].

If this MAK key was purchased by a third party seller to Amazon for their web site at Amazon report. At the very least, they should block / prevent the seller by using their (Amazon) web site.

Or else I'll watch Win8.1 (& get top of what to Win10 update as soon as possible) or Win10 at home; Although I had barely begun to use Win7 XP!

Since you said that you have an aging PC I would stick with Windows 7 (support ends January 14, 2020).

One thing, you can try if you are still interested Windows 10 (after the backup of your important data files is to install Windows 10 via the GWN icon on the taskbar or the media download: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 )

This will tell you at least if Windows 10 fully supports (graphics, Audio, keyboard and mouse, access Internet, etc.) your PC.

  • Get the message saying Windows is not genuine

    Hey,.

The computer is maybe about two years old and it came with Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed. Yesterday a box emerged telling me my copy of Windows is not genuine. I followed the link and tried the validation thing, but it's on this page for centuries now. I run ESET NOD32 antivirus, Malwarebytes, Super Antispyware and Spybot and nothing but cookies tracker was found on one of them. The only thing linked windows that I've messed around with lately has been uninstall Windows Office. Don't think that this would have caused a screw to the top, but who knows. No idea what could be causing this and how to solve?

    Thank you.

  • Build 7601 a copy not genuine Windows. Problem is that it is

I have a problem. I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 computer laptop I've had for a good 2 years now since March. It came with Windows 7, and I know that it is authentic, because he never had the message at the bottom right. However, today, a message saying "Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine", but it is! What should I do? Excuse if this is in the wrong topic, I don't know where it goes into the subject.

Well, I did said the comment. The analysis said that. I hope that I copied it correctly.

    Is anyone know now?

Wait a second! I noticed, after I did the analysis thing the message saying that it is not genuine is gone! What on Earth is happening?

the report shows no problem. There are a few characteristic heal self then maybe that fixed it...

If it happens again after a new report.
