Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

I understand that you have problems with a prompt from Intel, you get when you log on to the computer, but I would like to learn more about the issue in order to provide you with better assistance.

  1. What are the error messages you get when installing the drivers for audio and video?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists:

Method 1:

Try to run the following hardware troubleshooter:

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

Method 2:

Check if you get a yellow exclamation to the device driver in Device Manager, I would say, you right-click on the device, and then click Properties and check the error code provided on the general tab and post us with the same information.

In addition, refer to the steps provided in the following link and check if that helps

No sound in Windows

Method 3:

In addition, install the drivers audio and video of the computer manufacturer and check. Follow the link to do the same.

    Dear Sir.

While I have already configured the RAID 5 with 5 disks, then the OS (windows 2008 R2) installation step I saw 2 separate partitions. and can I install it on the partition with only 2 TB. Another, we can't. So during my installation completed OS, then I can use only 2 TB, for another volume is about 5 TB can't do anything. Can I do the RAID 5 with 5 disks (10 TB)?

I wait your helpful to my set.

    Thank you.

    silamay
This is new server, there is not any data yet so I can reinstall. What I want is that I just want to RAID 5 until I started my DC project. I already look for how to convert to GPT, but I'm not at all.  I know that I can't convert GPT as the OS in the same disk but that is because I try to configure RAID 5 and OS, but while over OS I do not see another 5 to just see only 2 TB.

I don't understand most of what you wrote.  You must activate the UEFI (below), then convert to GPT before installing Windows.

    silamay
How can I install on a UEFI system?

The T610 supports UEFI, but must be allowed.  Start the BIOS (F2) Setup and change the boot mode in the UEFI instead of BIOS/inheritance.

Your alternative is to create a RAID 5 using all disks, but the definition of the size as something as small as 2 to, then another RAID 5 with space remaining.  Each table will be displayed in Windows as a separate 'drive' - you can then install normally in the smallest 'drive '.

  • Start with external hard drive problem

I recently bought a Western Digital 1 TB external hard drive. When it is connected through the USB port my Pavilion a815n Windows XP hangs on the blue HP screen at startup. Western Digital technical support Advisor info sent to me I need to change a setting in BIOS but I can't find the trunk of USB device option setting in the BIOS of HP.  Can you tell me how to access this setting, or what else to do to solve the problem?  Thank you!  Jake

    Problem:
After connecting a device USB to the PC, the computer does not start in Windows.

    Cause:
The motherboard has a boot from the USB device, or a similar option, which is enabled in the system BIOS.

    Solution:
In the system BIOS, disable the option to boot from the USB device and the USB Legacy Support option. This will allow the PC complete the process on the internal hard disk and allow you to enter Windows. If this does not work for any reason, you should boot your PC before connecting the USB key. Once the computer is fully booted Windows, plug the USB and wait for the operating system to detect the drive.

Update the BIOS seems to have solve the problem. It was normally restarted with the attached hard drive.  Thank you!!  Jake

  • Epson Stylus Photo RX420 with Vista printer driver problem

I have an Epson Stylus Photo RX420 Series all in one printer, copier and fax machine which worked perfectly on my old Windows XP computer.

Unfortunately this XP computer has failed recently so I've upgraded to a new PC running Vista.

When I try to install the Vista printer recognizes the device and research initially drivers preloaded to find the printer driver.

He says so I need to use Windows update to download the right driver which I allow then (which is consistent with the information available on the Epson site that says I need to use Windows Update to get the correct driver).

Windows Update, then go online and find the pilot, but finally errors saying installation fail due to a timeout problem.

I have no other problems with Windows Update install the patches, fixes, etc. They all have download and install correctly and they should be larger in size than the printer driver.

Any thoughts on how I can get the correct driver for this printer, download and install?

    Hi IanRP,

I suggest to download the compatible driver for your printer from the link below and check if the problem is resolved.

If this does not work, try to connect to the Windows Update site. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site and install all updates.

I think that there are only two choices for you.

The first is to uninstall and reinstall the ATI Driver. If that does not work, try to restore your system with the CD or DVD delivered.

If after this procedure the fault persists, contact the nearest Toshiba Service Station for control of your laptop.

Have you tried to reinstall the operating system on the HARD drive?
    Check if this is possible

After the installation of the OS, you can try running a like for example the HDD Regenerator HDD repair tools.

You say that you have downloaded a driver from the Epson site, but have you downloaded the * good * driver? You need a driver for the Epson CX5500 for * Windows 7 * and the correct 32-bit version or 64-bit Windows that you are running.

I hope this is the right place. We have a server Dell R520 which was recently installed, win server 2008 r2. When I click on Device Manager, we perhaps 10-30 items in other devices. If you have installed the operating system from a Microsoft Retail version, you may need to apply the driver Chipset from Dell.

    Hello

Try to update your display manually driver and do not use the analysis of the drivers on the manufacturer's website either.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones

  • Windows 7 problem with the Dell XPS 15 laptop (L502x)

    Dear friends,

    Greetings!

I need your assistance related to a problem, I was confronted with my Dell XPS laptop computer L502x purchased in the United Kingdom a couple of years back. In fact, I tried to update my system for windows-10 de-windows 7 Home Premium (originally installed) via windows update. Later, due to some display problems driver I had to return to the former. But, as soon as I returned my windows for windows 7 HP, it stopped at day no more and I was constantly receives the message from windows update that always ends with a constant error message; so the update process has failed every time.

Therefore, I want to restore my laptop to factory through the restore partition settings that already exist in my machine, the "repair" option does not appear (snapshot attached) when I hit the F8 key. I wonder if there is another option available to use this recovery partition to recover my laptop to factory State. Please suggest me the solution so that I can do what is necessary to restore my machine to the factory settings.

I can't wait to have an encouraging response from you.

    Best,

    Adnan!

If the Ctrl key pressed, while pressing the F11 key repeatedly (about once per second) at startup does not work, it means that the recovery partition no longer exists.  If this is the case, you cannot restore to the factory.

This would also be the case if the hard drive has been replaced.

  • Dell Inspiron 15R SE AMD video driver problems (7520)

    Hello

Updated Windows Installer update drivers AMD GPU for me earlier. I think the problem is that it has installed the AMD site instead of graphics drivers switchable drivers that are compatible with my laptop (Inspiron 15R SE).

All programs that use the AMD card crashes when I start the system, including the Catalyst Control Center and the switchable graphics program. I tried to get into windows to display advanced options, but windows stops responding when I open the menu (Gray screen for about a minute then it returns with the window closed).

Dxdiag crashes if I start it, and if I try to run again he asks me if I want to run without Direct3D. If I press 'No', it crashes. If I accept, he let me in but does not detect the graphics card AMD.

I tried to uninstall the drivers and re - download coupons Dell website, but the problem persists.

I'm running an AMD Radeon HD m 7730 GPU and 4000 HD Intel integrated graphics.

TL; DR: All programs set to use graphic crash dedicated. Drivers say they have updated, but the problem is still there. Cannot access driver rollback screen (windows crash).

If you need more information, just ask. I run the Dell Diagnostics tool and he found nothing wrong, so it is a driver problem.

    Hello

I followed the steps you posted. Uninstall driver AMD asked me to restart later, so I allowed him to. I was greeted with a BSOD whenever I started. I tried to boot my Dell driver recovery disk, but there is no drive detected. I finally decided I had to do a system restore.

The good news is that the problem is resolved.

Bad news is that I lost all my files. This time I am disabling the windows driver updates...
