With a memory card with a large capacity with Powershot SX50 HS

I have a Powershot SX50. He got a 64 GB class 10 memory card. Video recording will stop when 4 GB of a sequence value is turned? The manual says recording automatically stops when the file size of the clip reached 4GB, or after 29 minutes and 59 seconds. I want to shoot the video rain than that, that's why I got a large capacity memory card. If he stops after 29 minutes? Just save the video and start to record again or what?

Nope just restart recording

  • Win 7 will not identify Canon PowerShot SX100 IS with a large memory card

As the post title suggests, my Win 7 computer does not recognize my PowerShot if he uses a large memory card, a 32 Gb SDHC by Sony. It's very well with a 8 GB SDHC card. Is this something internal to Windows 7? It is very strange to see him appear in Windows Explorer when there is no memory card or the card 8 GB, but does not appear when the 32 GB card is in place. Any thoughts would be welcome. Thank you!

    Suggestion:

Do not connect your camera to your computer.  Buy a memory card reader - they are inexpensive.  In fact, most modern computers have a built-in SD card reader.   Remove the memory card from the camera and insert it in the drive.  Connect the player to your computer and treat it like any other thumb drive USB.  The card reader is small and fits easily in your case of the camera, much better that the cables and such.

Much faster, without fussing over the drivers, no battery worries.  This also means that you don't have to install anything on any computer to be able to copy your photos.  It also lets you remove the lightening fast compared to in the camera memory card.  Most of the software that comes with cameras is terrible.

  • error message "memory card error" with a SD card on C5180

Looking at the specifications, I see memory 'High Capacity' (SDHC) is NOT supported on the device:

  • BlackBerry smartphones is the blackberry bold 9700 compatible with micro SDHC memory cards?

    Hello

I currently own a Bold 9700 and I use a 2 GB micro sd card that came with it. I was wondering if it would be possible to put a micro SDHC card in the "BOLD"? for ex a 32 GB card? I don't know if the size of a micro SDHC are similar to the micro sd card, so I'm not sure if I need to order a larger memory card.

    Thanks in advance

Yes, the 9700 can take up to a 32 GB Micro SDHC card.

  • Problem with 16 GB Sandisk memory card

    Hi all

I just bought a Clip Zip and use a Sandisk memory card to use with it. Unfortunately, while most of the library, there are a few artists who don't. I tried moving them on the player's memory, and then they operate, so it seems to be a problem reading the card, rather than the tags of the files. I bought the card from Amazon, so I eliminated the possibility that it might be a fake card. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be the problem?
Thank you very much for your help!

How many records you on the drive? Keep inmind that the zip has a database of song 8000 limit. anything above 8000 will not be crawled and appear not in the menu. If you have less than 8000 files can you put some of the bad files so we can take a look?

  • Problems with e250 and SD memory card?

Basic information about the player: e250, 2 gig, version 1, 01.02.24 has

Basic information on the SD card: Sandisk micro SD, 2 GB

I have my sansa for a year and a half, and I have never had any major problems with it so far.  Recently, I had to remove the songs to put on the new songs due to lack of memory, so I decided to buy a memory card for it.  Getting the empty memory card I inserted and recognized my drive and everything was fine.  The problems started when I put songs on the memory card.

I put my player in MSC mode (as indicated in the manual), it is hooked to my computer (windows XP), and everything was fine.  I used windows media player to synchronize music on the memory card, then picked up my drive.  It is restarted, as he should, and I went to listen to music I would put right on and yet once again, it was fine.  Then, I wanted to listen to my music, and he flipped out on me and wouldn't let me play it.  After determining that it was not just this song, I removed the memory card and tried to play the old music, but he would always let me.  A small red box saying 'Wrong way' just kept popping up.

I decided to start over, so I have deleted all of the player (via the computer) and then attempted to deliver music on.  I tried a few songs, sync and play the two media of windows and my computer says that the songs were on the player.  To get the player from the computer, I went to "songs" and saw that it was always empty.  I hung up, and the computer says that these songs are on the player.

In a nutshell: my computer says it is synchronization of the songs to the player, but in reality, it isn't.  This has only started to happen after I had the memory card.

If someone could help me, that would be great.  Thank you!

I don't think that Windows Media Player will work in players v1 in MSC mode. It must be in MTP mode for WMP to recognize. In addition, with the cards in players v1, you HAVE to add/remove music in MSC mode only by drag and drop from your computer to the card (read as a drive in Windows Explorer). You have to treat the reader and the card as the "separate entities", even if physically they are connected. Once music is on the map, the player will fit perfectly on both songs.

In what concerns the "bad tracks", you need to run CHKDSK to repair corrupt files, so you can remove them properly. Answer NO when it asks you if you want to save the files "bad strings" (or something like that). Check the 'sticky' & the FAQ at the top of the body for specific instructions on running CHKDSK. While you're at it, also check out & play on your player of formatting, as you should probably next to you to go to a clean slate.

I believe that files (songs) put on using WMP in MTP mode can ONLY be played in this mode, and MSC placed files using drag ' drop can be read in THAT mode, which can be part of your problem. Probably best to start fresh and then don't forget you must manually put the songs on the map in MSC mode.

Another oddity of SD cards (at least with players of v1) is that you must also manually add the 'album art' to the file containing the music if you want to see the album art that song. With WMP and MTP mode on the player, it will play the album art embedded in the ID3tag. It will not do this on the SD card . You can see specific instructions on how to do it here. There is also a video showing the procedure here.

    I hope this helps...

  • Smartphones with Blackberry Bold 9700 blackBerry memory cards

Anyone know when the memory cards will be available for the Blackbery Bold 9700?  Also, it is clear that Bold 9700 phones purchased now in the United States through AT & T accepts memory cards when they are issued, or is there a reason why they can be incompatible?

    Hi again,

Each company determines the level of the BONE they will be based on a particular model of BB that they resell. There is therefore no way of knowing what they ship their newly sold models with... you might can get to answer this question. But, given that it is a very recent model, I expect to have the latest OS levels, which supports up to 32 GB cards.

Regarding RIM branded media cards, I've never heard of such a thing. For example, my BB came with a SanDisk card brand media. SD cards are generic enough... There is not (to my knowledge) that are made to work only with one instrument or another. They are designed as generic storage devices that work inside of any device that takes care of their abilities.

Finally, there is nothing you can take these forums concerning everything that is future-oriented. If anyone here knows, they are specifically excluded from reveal whatever it is facing the future with authority. Therefore, what I said is my opinion on what will be the future - but it is not guaranteed in any way, shape, or form.

    Good luck!

  • Tethering: How to save pictures on memory card + computer with Canon

I've been shooting tied to more than a year with a Canon Rebel T5i and Lightroom on a Mac laptop. The photo would still save on the memory card that was in the camera as being transferred to the computer.  I got a new laptop and installed Lightroom computer, but now when I shoot captive photography is only transferred to the computer so it is no longer the backup to memory card, I became used to it.

Clearly, as I did in the past, it is possible with a gun to get the image to be saved on the memory card and the computer. I can just find a way to get there.

I think the only difference is the new laptop - I think even the version of Lightroom is the same.

I looked everywhere for some settings that I need to turn on our something, but I'm coming up with nothing. I even tried to call Canon technical support, but they said it's a matter of Lightroom. I can't find another way to get support for Lightroom outside this forum, so I hope someone can help?

    Thank you!

I thought about it! I thought I'd be a good citizen and a report on this issue. The problem was a FAULTY MEMORY CARD. After troubleshooting with a representative of Canon, we tried attaching the Canon EOS Utility 2 software which has a box where you can tell it to save on computer + card. Even when this has been verified for some reason any image would save on the memory card. We unplugged the strap and turned images on the camera without the cord plugged in and recorded everything on the map normally. The support guy suggested I have try shooting with a different memory card. After that switch on the memory card, it was working fine... saved in two places as it was supposed to.

I'm so happy, it was a such simple fix. Interesting that the memory card otherwise works normally (for the body of fire). In any case, I hope this can be useful to someone else someday.

So HAPPY to have this mystery solved!
