• Need to move book in Word 07 in InDesign 4

  I am quite at a loss here. Has written a book in Word 07, using fonts, I worked to find to express what I wanted to and put graphics in Word documents and text wrapped around those. Therefore, as I have tried to import anything, I'm constantly interrupted by fonts missing problem (I copied word folder of fonts in InDesign, always stayed problem fonts folder), I said yes to the replacement of similar fonts, I said okay, yet pages appear with the missing text. In addition, it seems now that I'll have to remove the images of the documents Word and everything just import the Word text in InDesign and then place the graphic? I have about 200 pages into Word. I don't know how to start and organize. I start a document pg 200, import as many gaps as I can, then moves to a panel of book? I'm afraid so if I sync at the end it will be unformat all previous work that. The goal is to have the book online on a website (I've not yet started) where people can peruse the pages (such as the spread of left and right) and decide to buy and download, but also want it's interactive with music, etc and finally to be able to perform as well to mobile devices. Help!  I have looked everywhere Lynda.com, Adobe TV, with support yesterday with Adobe (India) and took a few Adobe course extremely condensed - all that was far too much unnecessary information to start practically. • Hotel booking form

  OK, so I MIGHT pass jobs soon (keep your fingers crossed) and the company, I'm moving (maybe) to have scored a large number of hotels as clients and will do a good number of sites for them.
  One of the key components on all of these sites will be the online booking. It's obviously all DB driven and so on, but if someone knows a good tutorial or book I'd like a pointer, as I have NO idea where to start. I rarely (never) used forms dynamically. and so don't know where to start.

• Interactive timeline help

  Hi friends,

  I'm like a child who wandered in the middle of a movie and wants to know...

  How to shoot something similar to a standard of NYTimes interactive timeline?

  I'm not looking for handouts, necessarily. I know the basics of creating a chronology (uh, manufacture of buttons), but as I have implied, I'm very new in the world of Flash.

  I just have a few questions:

  I thought I'd go frame-by-frame for points on the timeline - a point led to a framework in which the content area is correctly positioned. This is - effective enough, or that will have negative consequences for some reason that I don't know?

  Should the content box be a clip if I intend to housing more text?

  How can I make sure that my file size become absurdly large?

  I'm sure I can make reference to a book I have for a bit of explanation, but shot tutorial books and I prefer to have a dialogue with someone, or some people, to produce a decent timeline.

  I guess my main concern is to make sure that the file is not too big. Appreciate the answers.

  There are probably many ways to approach create something like the timeline that you pointed out.  Your best bet is to study the timeline did you to create a simple version of it and see what works and what does not work - try to design a modular approach, where each entry has a generic form, composed of a few objects related to each other.  In this way, each entry in the timeline will follow some general process every time.  When you develop an approach, you can come to realize a dynamic presentation for timeline information.

  If you are not very familiar with Flash, you can use this project as a way to get to know. It is unlikely that someone here will take on the role of your personal mentor, so your best bet is to dig and create.  When you encounter a problem, post again with the details of your design and code or design element that does not work.

  Despite your look at the tutorials, they were created with the intention to try to help people learn.  There are a lot of them out there, some good and some bad, the good ones have been created for people who want to learn, and the worse those that have been created for the people who have written more to show them what they know.  Yes, they do not have mothering you might get to have someone watching your every move, so if you really feel you need someone to provide an orientation practice for you, then you should probably take a course in Flash design.

  The only way to keep the size of the file is to control the amount of content put you in the file.  If you have a lot of big content (MB), then you will probably have also become familiar with the management of dynamic content, and it's all another area of design that takes the time to learn.

• I can't open google, yahoo, facebook and other sites.

  I can't open google.com , facebook.com, twitter.com, TomsHardware.com, microsoft.comand live.com (so far these sites that I know cannot be opened in firefox), it just says: server not found. But I can open the other sites (same google.co.id is OK, but not google.com).
  What I tried
  -open websites in safe mode
  -clear the cache and cookies
  -Scan my pc with the microsoft safety scanner
  Other browsers work perfectly, the other pc/smartphone (on the same network) also work very well.
  I'm on windows 8.1.

• FPGA CRio do not give good digital outputs

  I'm working on a project with the compact RIO fpga. I tried following the youtube tutorials and written tutorial, but I get no similar results in scanning FPGA interface.

  I have attached my project. Here's the signal that I get from the Basic VI, which is a digital IO defined as output in a while loop. Alongside this, there is a loop for fundamentally changing the frequency of the digital signal from the top down. But whatever number I put in the loop for, it gives me the same frequency.

  My thought process goes like this: If the CRio has a processing time of 40 MHz to a loop that cycles 400 times should give me a swing of 100 kHz output, which is not any number, I put in.

  LabVIEW is almost certainly that compile to loop out like dead code (nothing happens so LabVIEW gets rid of it). I advise to use the loop timer function if you are looking to change the frequency or put everything in a timed loop. All in a timed loop will execute a tick.

  Y at - it a tutorial/book white/site that can give me an introduction on the use of the Vision Acquisition IMAQdx screw to capture images using the PCIe-1429? I am brand new to this kind of thing and it is a little outside my area of expertise, and I don't know where to start. I don't even know the basics of a general approach for the implementation of the process.  Any suggestions would be most appreciated. I am aware that I need to set up a file from the camera via the MAX application.

  What device do you want to buy from? Depending on whether you have the camera, you can download the file from camera on our site. To learn more about the files of camera here, which includes links to where to find ready made camera files. Finally, there are a number of examples in the example LabVIEW and CVI finders that explain how to acquire images using IMAQdx. You can access these examples via

  I have some data/programs/music and software on the Dv6 - 2177 ca, I need to be on my new laptop.

  I thought I'd take a backup using Windows7 backup of the Dv6 - 2177 ca and restoration for the new laptop.

  Do you think it will work?

  Will you please suggest me the best alternatives to transfer my programs/data/music/contacts whole without installing them again manually because it is a very painful process.

  P.S. Please also tell me if the Dv6 Dv6-6190SE-6166TX or Dv6-6168TX have backlit keyboard.   Macrium Reflect allows cloning. Once you have a cloned partition, you can see inside the clone and recover files and folders from it. Here is a well written tutorial from the how-to Geek on the subject.

  I have a Belkin Windows Easy Transfer cable and have used it a few times. My results with Windows Easy transfer, and that is why my preference is the use of a cloning utility instead. Macrium Reflect has never failed me, and I've used dozens of times.

  2. it is a retail version and it has been active
  3. the document is not marked as "Final".

• BPEL 1.1 and 2.0 in SOA 12 c.

  I'm a bit new to SOA, and last weeks I try to follow the tutorials of the manual book of SOA to Oracle 11 g (from Lucas Jellema).

  I use Oracle SOA 12 g and the tutorial book is designed for 11g, I found now several minor differences in screens that I was able to overcome.

  Now I am with Chapter 6 (correlation and other things).

  I noticed that I use BPEL 2.0 because it appears when you are working with bpel designer and when you import the project the solution provided by the book, the shown BPEL is 1.1.

  I also noticed that the scope in version 1.1 of BPEL can add 'message' and this option is not available in BPEL 2.0.

  I don't understand why this option is not available.

  My questions are, how and where is defined the BPEL 1.1 or 2.0 version used in the project and how can I have available the ' message on "for the scope in my project.

  When you a drag and drop a component bpel in composite.xml, you have the option to select the version 1.1 or 2.0.

  In BPEL 2.0, you can use "OnEvent" of bezel to receive messages from sponsors & log commercial links.

• Default value for alter diskgroup check

  I do not use ASM but do the study to get my OCP qualification updated as soon as POSSIBLE. For the alter diskgroup check order documentation for both GR 11, 2 and 12 c States:

  REPAIR | NOREPAIR this clause allows you to indicate to Oracle ASM trying to repair all the errors found during the consistency check or not. The default value is NOREPAIR . The NOREPAIR parameter is useful if you want to be alerted of any inconsistency but don't want Oracle ASM automatic measures to solve them.

  
  

  However, the two sets of training notes I have and everything I found online said that the REPAIR is the default option. Not only that, but the above statement regarding the usefulness of the NOREPAIR makes me think that the REPAIR is actually the default. Is anyone able to put me out of misery? :-)

  I did a search in Google: the only source of information that the States of REPAIR was the default value is 11 g - automatic and manual repair disk in 11 g ASM - ASM disk group checks improved, dating back to 2008. However, each official Oracle documentation states that NOREPAIR is the default value. I also found https://jhdba.wordpress.com/tag/check-all-norepair/, which shows the control in action, showing also that NOREPAIR is the default value.

  So perhaps, someone has written a book written that REPAIR is the default, but I was not able to find the Oracle documentation to confirm that. Maybe it was in a beta version, who knows, but I consider that it a mistake and go with NOREPAIR default.

• Simulation/Interaction knowledge check w/strikes

  I'm working to develop training modules with Captivate 9 on Microsoft Excel computer-assisted; one of the lessons that we teach is the use of keyboard shortcuts to eliminate the need manually scroll / SELECT large amounts of data.

  We want to do a check of the knowledge on which requires a student to perform these shortcuts. However, I am not currently able to understand this.  I can easily do things that require clicks with areas of click, but after searching around for a bit, I have yet to find a solution to this issue. (I'm very new to using Captivate and am almost completely self-taught with just some tutorial books and some internet research to help my understanding... Please bear with me!)

  I hope that you guys can help me my presumption, it is that it is not possible, at least not in a way that actually simulates the actions that they would in Excel.  I could have them enter the result in a text input area, but this isn't really what I want to do; I want to use keyboard shortcuts, and plan to move to the slide or the State which would occur if this shortcut was entered in the Excel program.

  If you do not need to show the entry on the screen (as you would with a text input area), here's a suggestion:

  Create a button (whether with a smart form, used as a button or a button interaction)

  Make the transparent button with an opacity of zero is not visible

  Move it to a corner of the slide

  In the Actions of the button tab, select the shortcut option and type any key you need.

  Disable the click of the mouse allows

  This should to pause the slide to wait on your keyboard. If you want to include a hint so that they can have assistance if necessary, you can enable that.

  I think it'll do what you ask. If I understand correctly.

  

• HP Pavilion DV6-2113sa - gel and does not restart.

  Sorry, my first post is for help, but I tried to use the really useful post here to diagnose my problem, but I am always sick.

  The problem is that my laptop is freezing up at random times. I've had my laptop for almost 2 years and take care of her well enough although I use it a lot and I had no problem either until a couple of days, when my laptop started to freeze.

  First of all, he does everything on Skype and continued to do so while trying to play a game or surfing the internet. It often freezes when I did click with the mouse, but during a game, it will freeze just by itself.

  During the freeze, nothing responds, and the laptop must be stopped manually. However, if I try to re charge the laptop immediately, he cut all trying to re load and a 1 beep. It seems that I have to wait a minute or two before it is re-load. Another thing I noticed is that if I try to reboot the laptop, it will stop, but once he begins to recharge, it will cut making the same noise beep short 1 and I have to wait several minutes before it shuts down again.

  After talking to a friend who knows more about computers than me, he said it could be the hard drive needs reformatting. I have recorded on my external hard drive and reformatted the laptop provided that the sale to the retail/factory.

  However, he then frozen again while transferring elements of my Ext. HDD.

  I ran a test of memory with MemTest86 who finds no problem and I ran a fitness Test of the disc on the hard drive which has not found no problem either so I a sneaking suspicion that it's unfortunately the motherboard.

  I tried to recover the system new return to the condition of the sale to the retail/factory because the first time I did it, the screen went black while reloading the laptop for 10 minutes so I stopped it manually. He then reloaded after a few minutes of waiting, but as stated, it froze later.

  The last thing I tried was a hard reset and so far this morning of the writing, the laptop has not frozen, but I'm not holding my breath that it's the end of my problems.

  About the temperature of the CPU and motherboard, it worked between degreesC 78-92. What is a safe temperature for an II Ultra of AMD Turion?

  The next thing I will try is cleaning the fan from dust using compressed air to see if that cools down the system a little more.

  But as I tried to more advanced options, without success, I feel this wont change anything but I guess it's worth it.

  Apologies for having written a book here, but I thought the most information I provided, the advice/a more accurate diagnosis could be envisaged without having seen the phone in person.

  Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do next, or if they feel that it is the motherboard at fault?

  I have the laptop for repairs (07/04/12) Wednesday, but obviously if it can work again to normal, so it allows me to save a lot of money and hassle!

  Go to Power Options and check the power settings. Give the setting balanced to try. These times are too high, if you just do something light like surfing on the web.

  Your next step: cleaning your laptop of flows and vents is a very good.

  Search the dust or pethair.  Use a can of air compressed to clen the vents. You can buy boxes of air compressed at stores like Walmart, Bestbuy and similar in their departments of PC.

  What are the ambient temperautures where you use Notepad?

  You can be at the point of needing to replace the processor thermal interface materials. That's something normally better done by someone experienced with laptops. If you are willing to take the risk, there are sites like Insidemylaptop , where you will find tutorials on how to disassemble your laptop to replace the equipment of thermal interface of high quality such as OCZ Freeze or Arctic Silver 5 thermal material.
