WUSB600N temporarily lose connection (do not drop the connection)

Hi all! I had my WUSB600N for less then 1 year now, and I never really seemed to make it work properly. It tends to decide when he wants to work. Anywho...

Here's the main problem I've had for the past month (which is even more annoying then the last). For some reason, then the adapter doesn't want to give up the connection to the network (most to least), he temporarily stop to do anything. I don't really know how to explain it other then when I surf the net, I can load a few pages fine and then all of a sudden, that none of them will load. They will stay there with a loading vacuum/progress bar and then eventually lead to an error page.

My connection seem fine throughout the process according to the Windows Vista network and connection Center thing, usually within 3-5 bars (apparently these Visual data is not a very good estimate of connection those, however). That's what me stem. If my connection seems perfectly fine, why none of my pages would load and only temporarily? Sometimes, if I wate for about a minute and try again to load the pages, they work.

I read somewhere that Vista has a system of offset in place or something that refreshes the connection or something in that sense every 60 seconds, so I gave Vista anti-Lag a go and it does not solve my problem either. I have the updated driver from Linksys for the card and thought to give it a go a last ditch effort, but hoped someone might know what is causing my problem of Rainlink.

Here are the specs of PC:
Windows Vista Edition Home Premium
2.20 GHz AMD Phenom 9550 Quad-Core Processor
5 GB of ram
64 bit OS
I use Firefox v3.5, but the same problem occurs in Internet Explorer (so I assumed the browsers can be removed from the equation).

Also, I connect to the wireless network is sent to a D-ink Wireless N Router (DIR-615). I can not really change this but if this is the problem that I am a tenant of a House of friends.

I hope someone can help out me! Any help would be greatly appreciated! If you need further information, technical specifications, etc., feel free to ask! Thank you!

Just a quick update for everyone, I downloaded and used WLANOptimizer for the last 3 hours today and so far, it seems to have corrected my problem. I will post if this changes!

If your experience of the same problem, I was and you are interested to try the program out, head to this page:

http://www.Martin-Majowski.de/wlanoptimizer/downloads.php

It's a small 755kb zip file, and the program itself uses an acceptable 8 632 k memory (Acceptable for me in this situation anyway!). As I said, your experience of the same problem, I've been if, please try this program and let me know if it will fix it for you so that we can see if this could a fix for some WUSB600N problems!

My pro iPad connects to the WIFI, but loses connectivity to drops in use.  My other IOS devices (iPhone, macbook, etc.) do not have this problem.  Ideas to solve?

    Hello BrooklynWM!

I definitely want my iPad to stay connected to the Wi - Fi connection while I use it.  Thanks for posting that other iOS and OS X devices have no problem with the connectivity dropping.  We can try a few things.

Would first go through the steps listed in this article: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi - Apple Support Network

Then if it does not help, you can check network settings with this: recommended for the WiFi routers and access - points Apple supported

After trying those, if you still see the drop connectivity, make sure the iPad Pro is updated with iOS 9.3.2 and check to see if the connection when you are in a certain place, time, or one event happening elsewhere in the House.

    Best regards.

  • Can not access the site Web of John Lewis, get message server unexpectedly dropped the connection all the time

Use the iMac with El Capitan 10.11.1 & Safari 9.0.1

During the last week, I was unable to access the site Web of John Lewis and the message "Safari cannot open page www.johnlewis.com because the server dropped the connection unexpectedly. Sometimes this happens when the server is busy. Wait a few minutes and then try again"I retry but get the same message all the time. Can access all other sites ok.

I emptied the cache, deleted the cookies and history. Enter the name of the site in its entirety is not helped either.

Unable to access the Web by John Lewis site with my iPad either.

    Help!

    Try restarting/resetting the router.

    Try a reboot.

Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

Isolate a problem by using a different user account

If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

  • WiFi loses connection intermittently and the erasure of the arp arranges

This has been asked before many times, but none of the above worked for me so far.

I have a MacBook Pro with El Capitan on it. From time to time, usually 5 to 10 minutes,

my connection drops and I can browse the internet. As:

    4 bytes of 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq = 7646 ttl = 53 time = 13,091 ms

Deactivation of unicast arp has NO had no effect either:

    $ sudo sysctl-w net.link.ether.inet.arp_unicast_lim = 0

    Notes:

-J' have two MacBook Pro at home. Other works without problem.

-My phone and other devices work also with the same router with no problems.

-The problematic MacBook works with other WiFi networks without any problem.

    What could be the problem?

Yes, clear arp fix it. Very familiar with it.

I had this problem for 2 years and more than 2 or 3 MacBooks, on El Capitan, Yosemite, and Mavericks.   I Googled it every 1-2 years months.  I captured packets and tested several access points... The best fix so far... is the arp compensation, and I have the automated at the moment:

    in a terminal:

While true; make sudo arp - da; sleep 2; fact

When the window is open, every 2 seconds, my arp table gets undervalued... and if I lose connectivity, the maximum cut is 1 to 2 seconds.

I noticed that in some places, I don't have the problem... its as if my laptop reacts badly to some other customers on the same WIFI network.  This question makes me crazy, and I can't imagine how was such years.  If I don't fix it manually, I find myself for 30-120 seconds every few minutes.

  • Time Capsule loses connection to the internet every day

I have a time Capsule airport of 5th generation TB 3 (802.11 AC, A1470).  For the past year, I lost the connection Wireless to the internet once a week or more.  In recent weeks, he has taken place more frequently and often now also 3 - 4 times / day.  During the internet cut, the light on the Time Capsule still green watch, but none of my devices are able to get to the wireless (3 iPhones, iPod Touch, iMac and 2 MacBook Air, Bose Speaker).   I can restore internet connectivity by cutting and then by restarting the power of the time Capsule.    All phones and computers are running the latest software updates.  Airport Time Capsule is running 7.7.3

We do not know if you have a service provider problem, a problem of modem or a matter of Time Capsule.

Provider number... check with your service provider to ask them if they are experiencing loss of momentary service due to new installations of equipment on their service. They will most certainly say that their service was perfect and the problem lies elsewhere, but it does not hurt to check.

Modem question... If the modem loses its connection to the service from the provider, even just for a moment, then the Internet will go down and the time Capsule which landed.  Unfortunately, there is no easy way to test the modem.  All you can do is connect a computer directly to the modem for a few days and check the connection from time to time to see if it fell.

If so, this indicates that you that you might have a problem with the son of Internet that come into your home to the wall outlet, if you do not want your provider to send a technician to check and test the line to come in your House.

If the wiring checked out OK, then you may have a problem of modem and the modem will probably be replaced... regardless of his age. If the modem is more than 4-5 years old, then it really must be replaced at this point.

If you have not replaced the Ethernet cable from the modem in a few years, it would be a great time to do this.  There are some modems that just don't get along well with Apple routers... Motorola 6121 SB, SB 6141 and SB 6183 come to mind.  What is the number and model of your modem?

Matter of Time Capsule... If there is no connection drops during your modem 2-3 days 'test' with a computer connected directly to the modem, then the time Capsule becomes the suspect.  About everything you can do in this case is to reset the device back to the default and then put settings in place again to see if this will help the issue. If you don't want to do it... and you have an Apple Store close to home... you can take the time Capsule to them and make them run tests on the Time Capsule.

As you can imagine, 99 times out of 100, no problem you will find when you take the Capsule in the Apple Store because the drops intermittent are by far the most difficult problem to resolve.

  • Could not get the connection w / router WRT54G

I tried all the suggestions on getting the router to connect, but have had no success. All the lights are on, but as soon as I unplug the router to the computer, I drop the signal and reconnect again. I tried to connect to the routers web page and it says unable to connect. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Connect the Modem to the Internet Port Linksys router and then connect your computer to the router on the LAN Port No. 1...

On your computer, click on start - RUN - CMD and click OK... In the hit command prompt window type "ipconfig" enter and note the default gateway IP, yet once in the command window prompt type "ping default gateway ip" and hit enter and check if you have all the answers, if yes, then you can connect to the router configuration page using the default IP address.

Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 (the Linksys router default IP) and press ENTER. Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...

This is not the expected behavior. A member of the battery is disconnected does not cause other switches to restart. They work as individual switches.

Original title: perfect connection, but can not use the web or programs that require connections

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

Who are you referring when you say, "web or programs that require connections"?

It seems that your antivirus software is blocking the connection internet or computer is infected with a malware or a virus.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Run the network troubleshooter

Using the troubleshooter from network in Windows 7

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

If this does not help, then use method 2.

    Method 2:

You can disable your antivirus and check if it helps.

    Reference:

    Disable the anti-virus software

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/disable-antivirus-software#1TC=Windows-7

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

If the problem persists, use method 3.

    Method 3:

I also suggest you use Microsoft security to check the virus or malware scanner.

    Refer to this article:

    Microsoft safety scanner

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

    Hello Dennis,.

I'm sorry that you have a problem trying to connect to some Web sites.

Just to make sure I understand your question, you lose the internet connection only to some Web sites, but if you unplug your router, you are able to connect to the website like Facebook without problem.

Let's start with the basics on the wireless connection.
-Make sure that the cables are properly connected to the router.
-Restart your router, turn it off for 45 seconds and then turn it back on
-Try again to connect to the problem site.
-Update your drivers for your network card wireless

Then I'd suggest that you update the firmware on your router. Go to the router manufacturer's website and download the latest version of the software package.

Here is some information on the use of networks wireless that might be useful:
