Yoga, install Intel rapid boot after format

Hi, I just reinstall windows from scratch, so far everything works except intel fast boot, when I try to install it from the drivers folder I get an error message saying that the system did not meet the minimum requirements.

Any ideas how to install this feature?

I deleted all partitions to a fresh windows install from a cd. I did not know that quick start intel needed a partition. I guess I'll have to live without this feature.

Hey guys, I had already changed my Sata options in the Bios to AHCI if I I could install windows on my 32 GB Msata drive. I used this setup for a good year or so, but now I just bought and installed an SSD for my system. I reinstalled windows and upgraded to windows 10, but after the installation of the Intel Rapid Start desktop application, I noticed that it doesn't give me any options for acceleration using my 32 GB mSata drive.

When I return to my Bios to change my Sata options to Intel Smart Response Technology, I get the blue screen saying my pc restarts one basically I can't anywhere like that. I am only able to start windows with my Sata options set to AHCI, but I want to still use my 32 GB for cache purposes msata and speed up my telephony.

Any help would be appreciated to help me to re - activate

A native SSD does not need to cache - and in fact a development may lead to a slower system - not only more quickly if the cache drive is slower than the native ssd (which is almost certainly).

  • No command in Intel Rapid Storage after the reset of a device of available Cache

There are in my book of 15-4010nr XT the spectrum of the HP TouchSmart Ultrabook 1 HDD and 1 SSD (30 GB).

The SSD was initially used for acceleration in Intel Rapid Storage.

But I zero it available in Intel Rapid Storage and now I can not "activate the acceleration' even once, because there is no such a command in the interface of the program - it only shows the disk information in the 'status' and 'Manage', but no orders at all (except Acivate LED). How to help?

    Hi Alice-Wonder,

Thank you for your request, I will do my best to help!

I understand that after changing the SSD for available in the Intel Rapid Storage, you are no longer able to activate the acceleration once again, since the command is no longer available. State Manange without any option of the command.

I suggest you do a restore back before making this change. Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8).

If that did not help, I would do a factory recovery.  Performing a recovery system (Windows 8) HP.

During the recovery process, you will receive a prompt to back up your data to avoid loss. If you did not recently, I suggest do you it now.

Restoring files that were supported by using HP Recovery Manager (Windows 8) upward.

    Good luck!

First machine is a DELL inspiron 1545
OK, this is somewhat complicated and I tried a few options.
I formatted the primary partition and installed XP after which discovered the recovery partition that I cannot now access via CTRL + F11, and a few other combinations I tried.

I won access to the partition via ubuntu so I know it's all there and intact.

I tried to use imagex to restore image files of vista on the recovery partition which they are 2 (spl_vista.swm spl_vista2.swm) so I used the order of REF. but I got a CRC error.

I tried to use imagex to restore another image file in the HDDRE folder. WIM, but that the image has no MBR

I was able to start the the recovery partation I discovered was a techguys recovery system by changing the active partition through diskpart, but he told me that he could not find the HARD drive, I also tried to boot to a DMS and had the same result.

any ideas on the means may restore the vista on this machine?

Try these methods to reinstall vista

Contact the manufacturer of Dell and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

You buy a genuine Windows 7 license. The copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, you have installed is an OEM SLP license that should only be preloaded with a new PC. You seem to have installed a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate that uses an activation exploit that bypasses the product activation.

We know that it is because the BIOS date:

    20090115000000.000000 + 000

Windows 7 was released in October 2009, the date of your BIOS says January 2009, which probably means your system is provided with Windows Vista or Windows XP.

In addition, he is a well known Windows 7 Ultimate license which has been used all over the web:

    Windows product key: *-* - Q6MMK - KYK6X-VKM6G

Do a search on the web.

Thus, you must either charge your version of Windows that came on your computer (Vista or XP) or consider purchasing a license of Windows 7 genuine.

  • Bugcheck after format and re install Windows 7 BS Bluescreen

    Nice day

I formatted my hard drive the other day (31/05/14), since my computer has been crashing with blue screens like crazy - at least two to three times a day. The system is a customized version of the year, and I've updated all my drivers and software. I did my best to try to understand why it keeps crashing, including repair of windows, memory diagnostics, disk hard scans, Mr Fix It, removing overclocks, etc, etc, but I failed. I can say with certainty that the event viewer reports the same codes of each hour. It's as follows:

    The computer was restarted after a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0 x 0x00000000000406f8, 0 x 0000000000000008, 0000000080050033, 0xfffff80002ec3d3d). A dump was saved in the: C:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP. Report ID: 060114-19749-01.

The specifications of the system are:

    ASUS p8z77-v lk

Intel Core i5 3570 k (returned to the stock clock, formerly overclocked to 4.5)

7950 vapor-X (returned to the stock clock, formerly overclocked to 1150, 1500)

    8 GB corsair vengeance

Hard drive 1 TB seagate (primary)

HDD 2 TB seagate (for steam games)

Hitachi 500 GB (used for photos and backups from norton)

    Windows 7 Professional

As stated above, my drivers are all up to date, just like Windows. Any help would be appreciated.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Intel Rapid Start on single SSD (boot EUFI) technology

    Hi all

I bought a new Dell Vostro 3360, Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD, BIOS (A11) before Christmas.

Was working fine and then failed to start. 2 days on the hotline, in the end the old motherboard (BIOS A11) has been replaced under warranty that it was not possible to boot from USB, wouldn't boot from SSD, no optical drive, the BIOS could not be flashed etc.

However since the new motherboard (A12) quick start Intel exhibited the following behaviors:

    1. TSRI timer set to 1 minute. The documents left open on the screen.
    2. On the lid close / sleep, the system goes into S3 state with power light pulsed.
    3. After waiting for 1 min, the hard drive turns on, apparently wrote the current session of the RAM to 'Hibernate' SSD partition.
    4. All the power lights turn off, the system now seems to be in S4.
    5. By pressing the power button, power light comes on briefly (approx. 1 second) and then all the lights went off and system does not start.
    6. Pressing power button a second time the system will be 'cold' start, IE no recovery from sleep mode. Back on the desktop all open documents are closed. And by examining the log of events says:
    1. Critical - error ID 41 - "the system has rebooted without stop properly first. "This error can be caused if the system unresponsive, crashed or unexpected power loss.
    • The foregoing seems to demonstrate that in step 4, when the power to the RAM is cut, the session is lost, is that it is not successfully get written in the score or if this is the case, then it will fail to return the RAM to step 5.
    • For the record, "Quick start" Disabling Windows makes no difference.
    • Via high cmd powercfg-h off to turn off put into hibernation in Windows, makes no difference.

So in the current like State left by the Dell, system technician otherwise manually shutdown and allowed to sleep will lose your open work / have not been saved.

    1. I've updated the BIOS with the latest "A13" with no improvement.
    2. I deleted then recreated the volume of 8192 MB with DISKPART according to - http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&cs=19&docid=545794&doclang=en&l=en&s=dhs

Except that for a start of Win8 EUFI using a GPT disk, the ID VALUE must be SET ID = D3BFE2DE-3DAF-11DF-BA40-E3A556D89593.

The VALUE ID = 84 OVERRIDE does not work on this kind of disc.

I also then reinstalled the last configuration QuickStart of Dell - 2.1.0.1002, A00 (23/10/2012)

    3. the partition above appear to be "accepted" by TSRI, as the definition of ID above, TSRI disappears from BIOS unless and errors during the execution of the FIRST installation program.

    4. If I am not above, TSRI is not visible in the BIOS and I get the message "Quick start is not enabled" to start the desktop. In this scenario the sys remains indefinitely in S3.

I spent another 2 days on the phone with the Support of Dell, and their ultimate solution is replace the motherboard again.

I would like to know if it doesn't matter what other avenues / options to restore the Intel Quick start technology.

    Kind regards
    Graham

PS apologies if this should be in the thread "Laptops" rather than "hard disks"?

Technician Dell came today and replaced the motherboard.

This solves the problem with Intel Rapid Start - to my surprise.

No configuration changes of the software were made, unaltered hibernation partition etc.

Then only the conclusion I can draw is that it was a hardware problem.

  • Cannot install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology technology

    Hi all
I'm having a problem with technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology. I will describe my problem briefly at the outset.
    Here's my problem:
I have a Dell inspiron 14z 5423 model ultrabook with Windows 7 Home Premium. He was fine, when suddenly the system crashed . Whenever I started it, a blue screen flashes and restarted. I tried everything to keep it. I have googeld for each solution, but could not repair it. Unfortunately, I have expense installing the operating system. And other MISFORTUNE, I only tried to format and delete the C: drive (C: drive was approximately 250 GB and removed to create other partitions of it) but my ENTIRE score got DELETED and MERGED into a single Partition. Fortunately, I managed to recover my data very Important. (End of part 1)

Now, later, I installed Win 7 Professional.
Previously, he had installed TSRI and seems to work correctly. Now, I try to install TSRI in my ultrabook but could not do so. Without knowing it, I installed the operating system with the SATA Mode: AHCI instead of Intel Smart... (RAID). Now when I try to change SATA RAID BSOD mode flashes then restarts. I also tried the following technique:
    http://www.overclock.NET/t/1227636/how-to-change-SATA-m...
    But can't make it work.
I want to install SORTS on my ultrabook and do not want to reinstall win 7 in RAID mode for this.
Please help me with this problem.

  • Windows 10 won't install after formatting in the installer from the disc

    Hello

I tried to install 10 Windows on my MacBook pro 13 ' 2012 with SSD and HDD 10.11.5 running. I followed the procedure step by step with the Bootcamp Assistant for two hard drive. I have my USB Windows 10 install prepared, latest updates of Bootcamp and puppy 35 GB disk. I did this several times and can not get pass the Bootcamp with Windows partition install formatting. Whenever I click Next after format, he says "we couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information see the installation log files".

it say something about MBR and Windows needs EFI.

I had the same problem, you click on the partition where windows should be installed? Seemed that Windows did not know where to put them.

  • After you download El Capitan, I received the following error message when you try to install: the drive is not formatted in MAC OS extended (journaled). Use disk utility to enable logging or reformat the disc. Can anyone help?

After you download El Capitan, I received the following error message when you try to install: the drive is not formatted in MAC OS extended (journaled). Use disk utility to enable logging or reformat the disc. Can anyone help? (My disk utility shows that she in MAC OS extended (journaled) format.)

It shows that it is Mac OS extended, not journaled. Click enable logging in the toolbar.

The thing you read is if you format the drive using the RAID settings you have selected. You have to look at the bottom of the window where it shows the Format.

  • How do I copy the files to update Photoshop CS6 in an external Hardesk so I can install after formatting?

BR.GENERAL-2015V1.pngHow can I copy the Photoshop and Illustrator CS6 update files in an external Hardesk so I can install it after formatting my PC or re-install?

Help > update should do it for you after the fresh install CS6.

If you mean that the installation programs, you can download these applications download Creative Suite 6 and copy to an external drive.

If you want to do the same thing for updates, go here: updates to manually download all updates cs6.

  • Technology Intel Rapid Storage from BIOS

I have an Aspire S5 with a 128 GB SSD. The SSD is seen in the laptop as two 64 GB drives and is configured as RAID0 as default. At one point the RAID has not and I tried factory reset, but the laptop would not get into the recovery mode (by pressing ALT + F10 and all variants of ALT/CTRL/F keys) then I reinstalled manually with a USB key.

In the BIOS, both drives are considered to be of 64 GB, but Windows only a drive on which I have installed is considered 64 GB, it is still considered the RAID drive (128 GB). It is not usable because I need to format it first, but I dare not do this. I see that the recoverypartition is still on it, but since in RAID0 RAID0, I'm assuming that all data on this partition Ghost is not usable in some way.

When starting the laptop I get the fast Intel Rapid Storage Technology technology (press CTRL + I), and it is said that the RAID has failed, listing the two disks (partitions), one of them as a member and the other (the one I reinstalled Windows on) not as a member. So I deleted this configuration and recreate and reinstall Windows again. But when I deleted the configuration I can access any more to technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology, the guest never happen! It just directly boots into Windows. By pressing CTRL + I on startup does not, probably because the FIRST is not loading...

I'm going to assume that the recoverypartition disappeared forever, since I have already reinstalled on one of the partitions, but I'd like to at least get a RAID running again.

TL; DR - technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology itself uninstalled from the Board of Directors, how can I enable it again?

If you are not using windows 7, I strongly suggest you to re - install under UEFI.

I suggest you update the BIOS if no update for your S5 is available, perhaps this may solve your problem of TSRI:

  • Intel rapid storage / MSATA Question

I have a HP Envy TouchSmart Ultrabook running windows 8. I had a problem with the fast storage disk intel / chip MSATA since I bought this laptop and I'm quite confused on how to fix. A few months after I first bought this laptop it crashed with a blue screen saying critical process is dead and after he collected the information he stop and came back as not found boot device. I immediately contacted HP and they sent me a USB windows 8 reinstall the kit that I ran and did a clean reinstall of windows 8. After doing this and everything set up on this subject, I closed the laptop for the night and he fell asleep. The awakening of the laptop in the morning, he said the same thing as before, critics of the process died and start the device not found. so, I called HP and expelled for a repair. In my opinion, that they put a new hard drive in it. Soon after getting it again it crashed for the second time, so I contacted HP and after complaining that they told me I could take it apart and try to fix it myself. They said as Caste drive / chip MSATA needed to take and to perform a new installation of windows, then reinstalling the drive of caste / chip MSATA and then install the latest version of the driver intel rapid storage, which I believe has been 12.5 after doing so, it has worked for 5 months I had no problems after I downloaded the new windows 8.1 and it ran for a few months with no problems. One day it froze on me and crashes on startup, I couldn't do a system restore and decided to just do a clean boot of windows 8 and start again because I had already saved my files before that, because my computer didn't have before. After doing a clean reinstall of windows 8, I installed the rapid storage driver intel 12.5 and after put my laptop to sleep he made the same critical process is dead as it did the past so I decided to take the chip reader/MSATA caste of my computer reinstall windows, then reinstall the drive/MSATA of caste and start and install the drive of fast storage intel 12.5 well that does not work after put to sleep it's the same critical process died. So I reinstalled windows 8 AGAIN but this time I was not installed fast storage drivers intel but after you put the laptop to sleep it still crashed with critics of the process is dead and so at this point I took the car of caste / MSATA chip out of the laptop and did a clean install of windows , but I have never reinstalled the MSATA chip, I just completely took it and after having put her to sleep WITHOUT PROBLEM, it didn't crash.

I guess my question is my cell phone will be ok without the drive of Caste / MSATA chip in it? This seems to be the main reason for my computer crashing and it out makes the computer to run without crashing once he's asleep.

Or maybe I need to install a new driver for fast storage intel?

Given that I do not wish to install a rapid storage driver intel going there just to make my computer slower?

Also I've ever heard call the chip MSATA, a reader of caste not to mention that the people of HP that has helped me the first time so I don't know if it is the correct term, I tried to look through forums, but has not found a solution to this problem any help will be greatly appreciated.

I will try to update the bios and see if that would help solve the problem. But I think that it is due to a defective material that I removed the card SSD to the computer and it starts correctly.

I still don't know how the different my laptop will be to not have a SSD inside card.

It worked fine for a few days without the ssd, but what difference does he have it or not?
