Z3200ps: Ink system purging units?

I might have to purge the ink in my printer Z3200ps. Only one color really, but I don't know if I can serve only one color without purge all. My yellow ink cartridge failed without prompting me to replace it and now my yellow ink line is empty. I saw mention on this forum about installation print heads and I have used myself when setting up my printer, but I can't find anything on their purchase for the Z3200 for this type of situation.

I saw these units purge ink system...

http://www.partshere.com/online/detail.asp?PartNo=Q6675-67004

but no mention of how they are used.

If anyone can advise me, or help me find the yellow ink, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you.

Peter

Thank you for the confirmation on the purge units and the suggestion to clear the air with a needle. I'll see what I can do and report. I really appreciate your help. Thank you.

Hi CHCA. Your Officejet 6500 must be out of warranty? You can doublecheck the warranty status of your printer here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/weInput?cc=ie & lc = on -if it is still under warranty, you should not pay for a new printheaad.

But if your printer is no longer under warranty, you buy one a. The part that you really need to order an Officejet 6500, is CN643A. Hello Kah524,

I met your questions and we have a solution for this and you can try it, but that would apply only on starting with '0xC18A' and not '0xc19a error codes.

Try the following steps for Photosmart C7280:

    A. - Press and hold the "*" key.

    B. - Press the "#" and release both buttons.

Display should say "enter special key Combo".

    C. - Press and release in sequence the buttons '1', '2' and '3 '.

Display should say "Support" and display the FW rev (something like R0631R)

Press and release the right arrow button until the display shows "Menu of the System Configuration'.

Press and release the OK"" button.

Display should say "hardware failure status. If it isn't there already, arrow above for "Hardware failure status"

Press and release the OK"" button.

Display should say "hardware failure status: clear." Press OK to erase.

Press and release the OK"" button. Message becomes "hardware failure (breakdowns) resolved state. Press Cancel to continue.

Press and release the "CANCEL" button as many times as necessary, so that, either the "Welcome to Photosmart Express" screen appears, or, the 'ink system failure' is displayed. DON'T TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.

Using the power button, turn the power off and unplug the power cable from the back of the printer output and the wall.

Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first, and then to the back of the printer

Switch on the device. The printer may display message "USE POWER BUTTON CLOSING the PRINTER" followed by "Press OK TO CONTINUE". Press OK.

If the printer has already initialized, then go to the next step. If this isn't the case, the printer will start the "ONE TIME INK initialization PROCESS". Allow this process to do and not to interrupt. Once the initialization is completed, the printer print a Diagnostic page.

To check, features of the printer print a PAGE of TEST car. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use or installation of the software.

If the error is still there, or reoccurs replace the unit.

  • HP Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one printer - H711a/H711g 'Ink system failure', will not print computer

At first, it was just a problem with do not print from the computer.  Error messages had to do with the failure of the print head or do not find print head, etc..  After going through several different controls online, download the scans, etc., it does not at all, print showing an error message "ink system failure".  I tried to remove and reinsert the 4 printheads (black 932, 933 colors) and turning market and check the caps and unplug the power.  Since this is a wireless network, I can't unplug the USB.  It was the OK signal.  Now, with this error message, I don't see the home screen printer controls.  It just says: put it on and then contact HP.  Help, please.  Very frustrated (it didn't happen all at once - a first he wouldn't print from the computer sometimes, other times.)

  • Failure ink system - error 0xc18a0206

I have a HP PhotoSmart C7250 all-in-one that has the error:

    Ink system failure

Ink system has failed.  Cannot copy, receive faxes. or print.  Refer to the printer documentation.  Error 0xc18a0206. Stop the power, then on again.

I was not able to locate this error in any manual or on the website of HP.  I found similar ones involving different printers and cartridges.

I tried several scenarios to powering off the printer, unplug the power and remove the cartridges, but nothing works.  I noticed that the cartridges have dates that are in the past.  Before you go out and buy a new set of ink cartridges, I would like to know if this is a possible solution to the problem.  They are all new (just open the packaging) but more than one year after the date on them.  I don't want to buy a complete set of cartridges, so I'll have to replace the printer (who knows what cartridges will take a new printer).  After all, the cost of the cartridges, it would be a good part of the cost of a new unit.

    Hello!

A few months back, I did a collection of solution for this problem. He helped resolved much ink system failures up to that date. You can check it out.

  • OfficeJet 6500 E709n: Failure of 6500 all in one ink system

Recently inherited a 6500 all in one and installed this AM.

Everything was going fine until I had to print a test page.

    Error: Ink system failure.

The manual says disconnect power and reconnect after 10 seconds.  This did not help.

When I ask to print, it says printing the error message and then it makes a grinding noise - in that order.

Then an error message appears on my pc computer screen.

This printer has been moved from one House to the other - it would have something to do with the message or the squeaking noise?

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you for your suggestions.

I had 2 problems: ink system failure and grinding.

The solution you provided workd partially - that is to say, I can print now but...

First of all, concerning the failure of the system of ink - the operating manual supplied with the machine to stop the machine, unplug from wall, waiit 10 sec and reconnect.

I tried and it doesn't work.

The ground ' n you provided (from HP for the SAME model as my machine) gave another way to reset the machine - turning machine on, unplug the machine, unplug the unit from wall, wait 15 sec, wall plug, machine to reconnect.  In that order.

Similar, yet very different and IT WORKED.

    So thanks for that.

But the machine still makes a grinding noise that lasts about 3 seconds.

I press print, paper flow, paper comes out of the printer, and then there's grinding hard.

Back then a series of sounds as if something has been reset.

All very very different from my previous 960C that is turned on when I printed and do not grind or reset of sounds.

I have a HP Officejet 6600. I replaced the black cartridge with a new HP black ink cartridge. This message keeps poping up, there is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn the printer off, then on. If the problem persists, contact HP. It gives me as two solutions. Solution 1: Reset the product. Turn the product off, and then unplug the power cord. Plug in the power cord and then press the key to activate the product. I've done this three times. Second solution: contact HP support note the error code provided in the email (I looked and it does not give me one) then he says, supported to contact Hp. go to: www.hp.com/support. Hey @popcorn101,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you get the error "printer failure: there is a problem with the printer or ink system' on the front panel of your HP Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one printer.". Thanks for the troubleshooting steps that you received before reaching out for support, including. Right now, you have completed all the troubleshooting steps available in your efforts to solve this error in accordance with the document of support here. The failure itself is probably due to a failure of the print head. The print head is the part that the cartridges will fit. It controls the "reading" of the cartridges and put the ink on the page. If the print head does not, then the printing within your product system has failed. In this model of printer print head is a non-replaceable. Therefore, the resolution is a replacement of the entire unit.

I highly recommend at this stage that you contact our Technical Support telephone queue for discover hardware replacement options.

  • My HP printer has an ink system failure, what can I do to fix this?

    Hello

I'll do a tutorial on how to solve the error message ink system failure.

Now, in general this error can occur when the ink cartridges are bad, the printhead is damaged or the sensors are indicating that the ink system has failed to the printer.

    Step 1:

The first step we take with an ink system failure problem is a hard reset with the printer. A hard reset Resets the sensors inside the unit causing the sensors reading if the print head or ink cartridges are healthy or not.

    Hard Reset:

Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall

    Wait for 30 seconds

Plug the power cord into the printer, and then on the wall (do not plug power cord into a surge protector)

    Step 2:

Now, if the hard reset doesn't fix the problem there are a few available documents to follow which will guide you through a few steps to try to resolve the printer.

I will list a couple of them here:

If your printer does not appear please go to HP support and drivers and search for your printer and your document.

    Photosmart C7280

    OfficeJet Pro 8600

    OfficeJet 6500 Wireless

    Step 3:

If none of these documents allows to solve the issue, I would call HP @8004746836. They should be able to help you replace or repair the unit. This could result in the replacement of the printhead, if so please be aware that if you are out of warranty, it will cost you.

    I really appreciate it!

  • OfficeJet 8600: HP OfficeJet 8600 'problem with the printer or ink system '.

We have replaced the cartridges (with HP) and now we can print only about 1/2 a page, sometimes 1 page-, then it displays an error, "There is a problem with the printer or the ink system" and the printer should be set and to continue...

We bought new (2nd series) of the ink cartridges and the same behavior exists.

It seems to point to a new print head - but those who are more expensive than a new printer.

Are there other measures I could take to try to resovle?

I can't find scraps of paper (ie: torn, jam, etc.), nor any excessive ink any where - everything seems pretty clean.

I removed the print head and cleaned the contacts.  I cleaned the contacts on the ink cartridges. I ran "Clean print head" in the Tools menu (which results in the same error)

There are sometimes up to 3 of these messages "stacked."

It is died regardless of what was asked of it... ie: print from netowrk, printing via usb, copy color, copy b & w, etc..

I have 2 Office jet 7500 a E910; I get 'ink system failure', the other works well; I take the printhead that is OK, I put it in the other: 'ink system failure '; I just got back from the other unit and no problem. I tried to unplug and reconect, same error. I tried to reset the printer, the same mistake; I cleaned with cleaning paper for lenses from contacts inside the print head holder, same error. What more is needed?

    Hey there!

Thanks for getting back to me!

I understand that the question much better now thank you for the clarification. So the problem is with the 1 printer, you take the printhead of the printer to work and put in the printer broke and he always says that there is a "ink system failure".

These steps you have done certainly point to the printer in question. I highly recommend that you call Support technique Hp for help with this problem because they have more options for you I do. For a uniform 'ink system' on 1 unit you know has a printhead working in could be a clear sign of a fatal error.

If you are in the Canada, U.S. dial 800-474-6836 or you can Contact HP worldwide.

HP printers usually have a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase, you can check the warranty using the following if you wish; guarantee cheque.

I hope this helps. Please let me know the results. Have a wonderful day!
