1029 receiver wireless MS mouse compatibility

I have a keyboard model 1. 0 to MS Wireless Comfort 1027 and MS 3 wireless desktop receiver. 0 and I am looking to buy a wireless mouse that will connect to the receiver and be compatible both of which above, (they are currently working both with Windows 8 Pro 64-bit).

I spent the last two hours trying to find a definitive list of the compatible optical mouse wireless without success and I was wondering if someone can help me here?
Thank you very much.

  • A Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2000 work with a 1.0 Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop receiver?

Original title: MS Wireless Optical Mouse 2000.

    Hi all

A Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2000 work with a 1.0 Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop receiver?

It will work with a 2.1 Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop receiver. So maybe the operating frequencies are different?

    Thank you
    Terry

Since then I've been able to solve my problem.

It seems that mouse, when you buy as a set of office, are "coded" somehow work with the receiver for this game. A little logic, I guess.

So thank you for the interest of all.

  • How to fix problem with Windows vista to fail to load while a dual receiver wireless (for keyboard & mouse) is to plug it into any USB port?

Turning on the PC with a wireless receiver (Microsoft model 1119) plugged to any USB port causes Windows Vista does not load.  Turn off the PC, unplug the receiver, put the machine, loads without problem.  Once windows is loaded, reconnect the receiver wireless Microsoft and less than a minute, the keyboard and the Microsoft wireless mouse works perfectly.  Device Manager does not take into account conflict of devices.

    Hello

Thank you for keeping us posted.

Check if the hard disk has been set as the first boot device in the boot coastal in Input/Ouput order Basic (BIOS). Otherwise, you can set the hard drive as the first boot device and check.

Consult the manual of the manufacturer, to do the same thing.

Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from configuration can resolved BIOS/CMOS settings. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    Hope this information helps.

  • Replacing the old Standard Wireless Optical Mouse... can new mouse- or even model work with old receiver (mouse/keyboard)?

I have a model 1025 MS Standard Wireless Optical Mouse that has a flashing click function (it often does register any). It is part of a game that uses a keyboard with the same (office-puck-type computer) wireless receiver. I would only replace the mouse with all that is the closest current model (or maybe I can find a refurb or exact same model used, if need be).

QUESTION: The interchangeable receivers for a given model, or that they can be used with only one unit (mouse) specific?

I'm guessing that they refer to the receiver, otherwise with a range of 300 ft, chaos would result in an office full these. But maybe also this "overlay" is insider manually first handshake which is known later. If so, then there's a chance? My mouse: model 1025 p/n X 800127-113

The BIGGEST QUESTION, then maybe: a current 1000 series mouse will work with the receiver old (my model is more made, apparently)? Thank you!

It depends on the frequency that work on the mouse and the base.  I tried to find info on your old mouse and there is nothing available.  I think would be best to simply select a new wireless mouse.  It will come with a wireless receiver dongle that you can plug into a USB port.  I think you'd have a very hard time finding a new mouse that will use the same exact frequency as the old configuration.  If you're short USB ports to plug an extra dongle you can always buy a USB hub for next to no money. • Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 v2.0 does not connect to the Wireless Desktop 3 receiver. 0a

    Hello

I'm having a problem, try to use a Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 v2.0 with a wireless desktop receiver 3. 0a. My previous mouse, wireless laser Mouse 5000 connects fine but the left click button is inadmissible about half the time so I bought the Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 v2.0 to replace. Laser mouse 6000 v2.0 works fine on my laptop with the usb receiver that comes with it, but I would like to use this mouse if you use my office receiving office 3. 0a that connects my microsoft comfort keyboard 1027 and all other previous microsoft mouse that I have owned. I downloaded and installed the latest drivers point software and smart and still it does not detect or connect the mouse 6000 v2.0.

I tried to use the usb receiver supplied with this mouse on my desk but he won't my keyboard (comfort 1027), but the mouse works fine when using the usb receiver. Any suggestions to get this mouse works with my receiver older are greatly appreciated! Thank you

    Hi Mburton8899,

It must have the same version of the receiver in order to work properly. Unless the mouse is bluetooth, it can only pair with the USB dongle, with which he came.

    Hope this information is useful.

    Hi Nyasaboy,

Wireless 5000 mouse & keyboard 3000 V2.0 Wireless both are compatible with Windows 7 so I would like to know the exact error message you received when you tried to install the driver update for the mouse wireless & keyboard?

For now, you can uninstall the drivers for keyboard & mouse from the Device Manager and restart the computer that will install the default drivers for keyboard & mouse and check if it works.

    1. type devmgmt.msc in the search box start and press ENTER.

    2. in Device Manager, expand the mouse & keyboard listed in the list of devices.

    3. right click on the driver > click on uninstall.

4 restart the computer. The drivers will install automatically.

  • HP wireless optical mouse: wireless optical mouse broken

HI - My Mom just dropped the wireless optical mouse that came with the HP Envy 23 "touchscreen all-in-one.  The mouse no longer works.

Both the keyboard and the mouse are wireless and use a shared USB receiver.  The keyboard still works but the mouse does not work.

I guess it is not repairable, so here's my question: when I buy a new mouse, do I have to buy a new USB receiver as well?  Otherwise, the new mouse will automatically work with the current USB receiver?

Thanks in advance for any help/ideas that anyone can provide!

    Belloc66

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

A wireless mouse, you buy, in itself, will come with its own wireless receiver.

When you buy a keyboard/mouse combo, they come with a single receipt that works for both.

The new mouse MIGHT work with your existing receiver - the only way to know is to try it.
