120 jealousy scanner

Want all-in-one printer well under warranty (bought end of August 2014) 120.

Problem: sudden lack of scanner.

I got in touch with Scott of the Canada-USA on 17 November 2014, 22:08 (Italian time).

He gave me all the instructions of thHP printing & scanning doctor (new driver, new firmware, ecc), obviously with the result draw: it is not possible to establish a link between the PC and my desire to 120.

In any case, using the copy function, I can say that without doubt there is a hardware failure as I see that scan ioff light, while that the sensor detects the light.

I hope I will get you the instructions for the substitution.

P.S. The scan function seems quite a problem printer Envy: a previous Envy 100 (out of warranty) exhibted one fault simmetrical: light scan, sensor to scan out of use

  • Connect the scanner via TimeCapsule

    I have a Canon LiDE 120 Cancan scanner.  I want to connect to my local network using port USB TimeMachine.  My laser printer works this way, but the utility OS 'Printers and Scanners' preferences won't find the scanner.

    Is it possible a scanner by the TC/airport network for all my computers can "see"?  If so would appreciate any advice on the installation program.

    Note: even if directly connected to a computer the button 'share (printer) on the network' disappears when a scanner is selected.

  • Scanner model HP Envy 120 series wireless

    I have a HP Envy 120 series printer / scanner, wireless. I can print and scan with all my software except when I go to my bank site to deposit a check, it does not recognize my scanner. What can I do to solve this problem. I downloaded the last Java which would recommend the Bank still does not work

    I understand that you have a 120 Envy that works very well with the HP software, but does not seem to be recognized by the software/site of your bank. I will certainly do my best to help you!

    Because the printer works with the HP software we know that is not the printer itself that does not work, but there is something maybe on the Bank's Web site does not properly. I suggest that you try another web browser (if you are using Internet Explorer, try Firefox or Chrome), make sure that all of your Windows updates are completed (if you use Windows), make sure firmware is up to date of the printer and if all else fails try to install the printer through the USB port as opposed to the radio.

    If the printer is not always recognized after these steps, you will need to contact the support of your bank to see what their Web site.

  • Light fault scanner want 120

    all I get is vertical lines whenever I try to scan or copy, this has happened a little over a week ago, when I wanted to make a copy of my passport.  On the HP site it says that I have more defects, I bought this printer last summer, and after a few months had to have a replacement as he himself turned on and off all the time.  I tried the eprint solution unplug it and factory reset please I can do it is expensive to repair, I'm sure I'd have a year warranty from the date I received the new printer, but I say I got it June July 2013 I bought my book club and finished paying for the month of August so if I had another a (replacement) that the original was probably defective , I'm still covered please any info greatly appreciated I tried all troubleshooting.

    I am pleased it is now resolved HP Customer Relations called and they are sending me a printer of replacement with a warranty of 3 months up to at least now I know how much guaranteed I and you have the option to extend it much thank you to you all and this forum.

  • HP 120 do not envy copyingor scanninmg

    I have a craving for 120 HP all in one device, which is less than 2 months old.

    I connect via Wifi and my OS is Mavericks 10.9.2

    The printer prints fine from all devices, but it won't copy.  He has a message "Scanner problem.  Turn the printer off, then on.  If the problem is not fixed the scanner component is broken and can not copy or scan.

    By turning the printr off & on does not resolve the problem.  As part of troubleshooting, I have the drivers updated and done a hard reset but the problem persists.  Printing is still fine.

    Anyone have any new ideas, please.  Thanks in advance.

    I have a problem with the buttons on the scanner LiDE 120. I can't use tham for installed scanning utility. I installed it on several machines, but only once I managed with setting of the button.

    I tried the latest drivers from the support of canon with no result.

    I know where to establish the connection of the utility to the button, but I can't choose which.

  • HP Envy 120 no scan no option on Yosemite

    Try to get a replacement HP Envy 120 configured with Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.   Before installing the version of the software from the HP site, I had a visible scanning tab in the preferences for the previous printer system.

    After installation of the version on the HP site for 10.10, then add the printer in system preferences, the scanning tab no longer appears.  Neither the scanner appears in the Image Capture or preview.  When I try to use the HP Scan application, it is the "before scanning" for a while, then generates an error: "HP Envy series 120 - Airprint is currently unavailable.  Please check if it is turned on and connected or try again later. »

    The printer is on and connected to the network.  I am able to print to it.

    Any advice?

    Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I understand that since the addition of your HP Envy 120 to your Mac running Yosemite 10.10 in operating system you is no longer gives the sweeping opions. I would like you to go ahead and follow the steps below:

    Scrub / uninstall

    • Open the Applications folder > folder HP or Hewlett Packard > Uninstall HP
    • Click continue, click on one of the printers in the list.
    • * Only perform this step if you have not all other HP printers. Hold down the command, Option , and command, while now the three buttons.
    • Click on Uninstall.

    Reset the printing system

    1. click on the Apple icon ( ), then click on System Preferences.

    2. in the hardware section, click Print & Fax/scanning. The Print & Fax/scanning dialog box opens.

    3. make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left panel and then click on reset printing system...

    4. click on OK to confirm the reset.

    5 type the name and the correct password.

    6. click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows any selected printer

    Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol...

    Repair disk permissions

    1. on the Dock, click Applications, then utilities.

    2. double-click click disk utility.

    3. highlight your hard drive / partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").

    4. click on the button to repair disk permissions at the bottom of the window.

    5. once the repair is complete, restart the computer.

    Restart the printer. Now you can download and install the printer software and install it. Click on the link below to start the download and follow the instructions on the screen:

  • Canon IJ Network Scanner selector EX do not install

    Good then, I managed to strain support three row of Cannon and they recommended I have contact Microsoft support that refused to help without paying me $99.

    I have a Canon MX922 multifunction that worked smoothly with Windows 8 However, after the upgrade (with a clean install) to 8.1 Windows, I can't have the drivers to install completely.

    When you run the installation package (mast-victory-mx920-1_0 - ucd.exe) I get no error, however, the IJ Network Scanner selector EX is not installing (it is necessary to scan the network). I extracted this from the main installation package (\mast-win-mx920-1_0-ucd.exe\mast-win-mx920-1_0-ucd\win\Driver\LANUTIL\SELECTOR\) installation package and tried to run and received the following error: "an error has occurred while the files have been copied.", then the installation will fail.

    Before calling the Canon, I tried to install the main package as well as the IJ Network Scanner selector EX package in a clean boot state and got the same results.

    The only thing that Canon could happen to was copy "usbscan.sys" C:\, C:\Windows\System32\drivers and C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository and try again.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Don't know if this will help, but I found a solution for it not to install it on my system.

    New installation of win pro 8.1 and it installs fine

    Add avast anti virus and it works, but if you try to install it fails

    Disable all the features of Avast and it still fails to install

    Uninstall Avast and restart and it still not be able to install

    found that Avast does not uninstall and blocks the selector definition of the connection network scanner program

    Solution albeit strange and cannot confirm if this works for other anti-virus software is:

    Uninstall Avast

    Reinstall Avast

    Uninstall Avast right after the new installation

    Seems to be the only way to get Avast to uninstall completely

    Load all your Canon drivers and test

    So all the work and they will likely

    Install Avast

    Once again, this may be a similar problem with other antivirus software but cannot confirm

    To do this procedure on a laptop, a Tablet and 3 workstations and it worked on all the

    To expand on my subject line... nothing ignite communication between my Windows laptop 8.1 and my printer Brother HL - 3170 CDW WiFi when I try to print from my scanner CanoScan LiDE 120. Documents created on the laptop go to the printer without problem. Is there a configuration screen of the 120 that I have not found? Where should I start his problem in case of problems?

Fortunately my daughter is running Windows 8.1 things worked a little better but manual page 223 left me confused. Win 8 step 4 "select an event" means a button "all events". It does not exist. There is choice for copy, PDF, auto and send. The instructions are ambiguous, but I choose 'copy' and let it go at that. I'm tires if you work with it. I know it is a scanner at low cost and that you get what you pay for, but surely, we have the right to expect that it works as advertised.

  • Aspire ATC-120-UC22 recognition memory?

    I have a system of costco.

    Acer Aspire ATC-120-UC22
    It came with 4 GB of memory (kingston) 1 stick of 4 GB-1600

    I bought a 8 GB kit... crucial memory... 2 x 4 GB

    The system has 2 blue for memory and 2 black ports.
    The 4 GB stick was in the blue port and this port was closest to the processor (in the middle)

    They advised me to put two things of memory I bought in the same colors.
    So I put the two sticks of memory 4 GB 1866 in blue locations. I got the 1 4GB that was there and moved to the black slot between the two.

    Start the computer.

    It is not acklowledging the 2 slots. We see more than 4 GB.

    I scanned the essential use of the http://www.crucial.com/ scanner system
    He seemed to still show that only the FIRST location has 4 GB of memory in it.

    I'm puzzled.

    Help.

    Is it possible to see more specifically what is in the next 2-3 slots?
    is there something I have to ' turn on '?
    Should I move the memory?
    Things seem fine now that I'm online. But it is said that additional memory is not there.

    Sorry if once posted, it is not 100% right but should be good enough to give you the right idea of what and how they should be placed. Your sites should have DIMM2 DIMM1 and so on.

  • Helps with the size of the paper M1176n MFP HP laserjet printer/scanner color

    I've just set up my new printer - HP MFP M1176n color laserjet printer/scanner.  I am based in the European Union and we use paper A4 - but for some reason, it seems to be the impression in a format suitable for American paper size.  Can anyone suggest how to change that?  It's almost as if she makes the smaller document to fit on what would be the American paper size.  But I use A4, and so there is a gap at the bottom of the page?  Thank you, S

    Did you enter M176n instead of M1176n?

    Click on the HP Printer Wizard and select game Preferences. The HP Print Wizard should be present if you have installed the full features of printer software and driver.

    You can change the printing options in Windows to change the paper size by default for the metric equivalent.

    be sure that you save the changes to the default paper size to A4.

    I have a HP HP Envy 120 loan which is an American model. It was provided to me for free by HP to allow me to help answer questions printer.

    I live in the European Union and use A4 paper.

  • Broken Envy 120 printer

    Purchase a printer Envy 120 in December 2012. In November 2013, received an error message saying that the cartridges were damaged, so I could not print.  After that 2 long guaranteed scripted calls to technical support, a refurbished printer was sent in December of 2013.  In April 2014, the refurished printer scanner has stopped working (tried the hard reset); and last week, I started getting a blue C4EBA649 error.  The printer is frozen and will not work despite unplugging and resetting my router.

    The refurbished printer didn't work for 120 days. Given to nine printers are only a 90 warranty.  In addition, when I checked on my warranty to April status, date of the guarantee of the refurbished printer has never updated - which expires in July 2013. Very unhappy.

    I am so so glad you were able to get your printer replaced!

  • Scanner HP M277 function seems to arbitrarily arrest

    Since the Mac OS upgrade, I have a strange problem. The function scanner built into the provided Apple, HP M277 printer driver seems to stop arbitrarily. When the button "scan" in the print queue window will be gray. If I go into the preferences system-> printers and Scanners and select the printer M277c6 there and click on the "Scan" button, then open Scanner it will try to open the window of the scanner, but it stall and never finish.

    When I restart the computer scanner function seems to be restored and everything works as it should. Someone has an idea of what's going on here?

    I go on the HP website and downloaded their software HP Easy Start and completely re - configure the printer with it, but still the same problem.

    Also, I reinstalled the Apple HP (19,13) v5.0 driver. But always after a certain period of time, the scanner is therefore more accessible. I was not able to point of pin code if another program is the cause. Any suggestions?

    There was an Apple update to restore scanning for some HP printers earlier today. Did you check App Store updates?
