It seems that the hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced. Laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example if you have a 320GB hard drive you can use a 500 GB hard drive but not a hard drive of 250 GB.

From two days ago, about 8 or 21:00 my computer freezes whenever I clicked on any icon or attempted to open anything. Not even all that normally appears as yahoo messenger and all my other programs popped up. After this has is spent several times I went to safe mode and thought at first maybe it was something with the memory, or maybe the computer was going slowly I went into cleaning disk and deleted files. Then, I went in my add or remove programs and deleted some things more freeing space. After that happened, I tried again and still no luck. Shortly after, I went back to the security mode and attempted a full McAfee scan for viruses. It took 11-12 hours and there is no virus. Then, I went back into safe mode and tried to do a restore of the system for a few days back. I've tried twice and both times a screen popped up error after about 3 or 4 minutes for system restore. After some research I found this means cessation critical object, so I tried a startup repair, it said 0X000000F4 (0XFFFFFA8006881BA0, 0XFFFFFA8006881DD8, 0 X 0000000000000003, 0XFFFFF800022E3540). I then went to my device because Manager that all the time I did research we're talking maybe a driver is not updated. I discovered that my drivers are all updated, but my IR devices has a triangle attention beside him. Hey Buddy,

This error message means that an incorrect boot order is set and the computer tries to start between LAN port to the internal HARD disk space. It should therefore go into BIOS setup and change the boot order. Put the HARD drive as the first boot device internal.

Take a look at this article from Toshiba:

  • Satellite L750 - no error at startup boot device

When you try to start my Satellite L750/755, I get an error no. Bootable Device.

Before I try any recovery, is it possible to remove the HARD drive and connect it to my other PC so that I can get all my pictures, music, etc. it. If so, do I need.

I have it on my old desk, and bought a HARD drive with a USB caddy, if disk HARD just looked like an external drive.

    Thank you very much

    Tim

Yes, you can remove the HARD drive and connect it to your other laptop / PC with USB HDD external enclosure. With the help of this forum you can connect your HARD drive as an external device that must be recognized and listed in the Windows Explorer, so you can have full access to all your stored data.

Back up all your data and put the HARD drive in your laptop.

Usually, if there is not a hardware problem you can start your laptop and press F12 to get into the boot menu. When the boot menu appears on the screen that you can put the recovery disk of information optical disk drive, choose the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER. After making this optical drive should start the disc and start to copy the data to the HARD drive.

What you can do before you start using the recovery disc is to enter the BIOS and set it to default settings.

Please try it and send feedback.

  • Operating system not found, no boot device has been detected but can run XP in Bootcamp without problem?

The title says it all. I searched and tried the partial fixes to some of the questions.

I have installed Bootcamp and a working copy of XP Pro works no problem at all.

I installed VMFusion and merger goes to the partition, and I get the error no bootable devices and not found any BONES. It seems trying to boot from a network, it works to resolve a MAC address. Then he hangs on. Then don't say: "no found bone." I put the disc XP Prop and try reinstalling and it said: none found disk... I have attached a few photos.

    Thank you

Note: These senses are different which have already been posted so read and follow through... Note: These steps assume that you have a single Apple to default installation of Windows on a single Boot Camp partition and Boot Camp of VMware Fusion single default partition Machine virtual (without a snapshot *) and if you have changed the partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine to add additional hard disks to be virtual or RAW disk then do not use these instructions unless you backup the Boot Camp partition the Machine package virtual first. * Also note that Fusion 2.0.0 may accidentally have a snapshot with the virtual partition Boot Camp Machine and it should not have, then you should check to ensure that the condition does not exist as well. (With merger closed if the partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine package is over 1 MB in size, then you might have a snapshot in place and do not continue with these instructions.)

    ===

    1. If the merger is open, close it.

    2. in a Terminal (/ Applications/Utilities/Terminal) copy and paste command, as the following and then press Enter and it will delete the partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine of the metadata and the Virtual Machine to help.

Note: This does not affect the Boot Camp partition install windows in that it does not remove it.  Also be sure you copy all the command line below, as well as, "RM" at the beginning of the ' (quote) after the s in the Machines. "

Drive appears you in the BIOS? If not, and if reinstalling it does not help that I assume safely that the hard disk is dead.

You can also try to download/creation of the various Linux Live boot floppies [Unbuntu, PartedMagic, etc.] to confirm that your other components are not at fault. If you can start and run a live linux OS then your other components of the system may very well.

You can also remove the drive of your machine and install it as a secondary drive in another computer or a disk to see if you can access it.

You can also run a HDD diagnosis by accessing your site of hard drive manufacturers and download/creating a diagnostic boot disk.

  • New hard disk identified but causes the error "no boot device found".

    Hello

Recently my computer (Inspiron 15 3521) had hard drive failures, so I ran a diagnosis which resulted in replace me the hard drive. I thought I would upgrade the old 500 GB for a hard drive of tuberculosis.

Now, when I install the new hard drive, that it translates "found no boot device" I ran diagnostics on it and checked everything, and it recognizes the hard disk. Diagnosis is nothing but the problem persists. Any help would be great!

The fundamental question: you have installed Windows on the drive?  New disks arrive Virgin - you'll need the support of recovery do you when you have received the system to install the operating system on the disk.

  • No boot device after changing the partitions

Hi all. I've lost the ability to start in my Windows partition through bootcamp. When I use startup disk system prefs. OSX, he can see Bootcamp, but rebooting produces an error message "no boot device." If I hold the alt key while rebooting, I can only see the Macintosh HD, without bootcamp (or recovery, by the way). I can see the Bootcamp drive on the desktop, so I can use Parallels to run Windows based on this drive, I know that the drive itself is ok.

I did a fair bit of mucking partitions. I decreased my Macintosh HD partition and inserted a new Macintosh HD and Bootcamp. Then, things are funky, and I created a volume of CoreStorage on top of Macintosh HD and it is associated with a partition on an SD card (created a fusion DIY with a TarDiskreader). All this worked fine and I now had a huge hard drive Macintosh and boots fine Mac, Parallels works fine, but I can't start natively in Bootcamp.

    Can someone help, please?

You cannot start Windows if you can't do a backup.

You can try this, but no warranty if:

    Saving your files:

You can remove the hard drive and put it in a hard drive USB enclosure > plug it into another computer > and try to read and copy your data in this way.

Or, you can download Knoppix > make a bootdisk to > start your system with it (IF your material is all work) > and copy your data from the hard drive like that.

Your other option is to recovery specialists of data that are very, very expensive.

    Hello

    > I tried a new hard drive in the laptop, but still the same error

The laptop computer was preinstalled with the Win 8 System.
The laptop BIOS UEFI s takes the mode and secure boot.
This means that if the secure boot and UEFI is enabled, the laptop is unable to start the external device or wouldn't boot to other systems such as Windows 7 or Linux.

To install another system, you must change the mode MSC UEFI boot mode and have disable secure boot option.

To access the BIOS, you must press the F2 key immediately after the laptop has been powered.
