6 Lightroom from Adobe directly but serial number can not be validated

just bought 6 Lightroom from Adobe directly, downloaded and installed on my new iMac (renovated). When I entered the serial number, it cannot be validated. Can be due to the following Adobe I me am preinstalled by the vendor?

Hello, finally I could install it. Chat support has been helpful and guided me to download and run the AdobeCreativeToolCleaner. That's all. Now it is in place and works very well.

Why Adobe doesn't realize that I have the serial number registered under my account, so I can use it on my 3rd PC?
This Adobe Acrobat is NOT part of my subscription of cloud!

Or open a separate account and request to transfer your individual copy of Acrobat for it. Then connect to that account on your computer to third and you should be fine.

According to the guidelines of your account, you have a copy of Acrobat Standard XI and the serial number starts with 1016-***-***-***-***-*** and you try to install Acrobat PRO that is the reason why you get this error.
Please uninstall Acrobat PRO XI and install Acrobat Standard XI from the link below: -.

4 no serial number can not be upgraded to Adobe.
A few years ago, I bought Lightroom 4 on the Apple App store, he is not come with a serial number. Today, I bought the upgrade to Lightroom 6 through Adobe. I have the serial number for LR6. When I try to install LR6 it asks the serial number for LR4. (Which I did not because he did not part). It does allow me to install without serial. I did a 'chat' with adobe customer service but am nowhere.
Someone at - it suggestions?
Uninstalled, reinstalled LR. Still could not get around the serial number thing. I had to send back the upgrade. They have not yet processed the refund. I'm struggling with the customer service. I was caught in a phishing scam in adobe forum pages. Someone has been in contact with me claiming to be the help of Adobe initiated by my post here. I finally realized it was a scam when they asked Adobe and my password. And I'll still have to pat the full price of $149 to upgrade to Lightroom6. Just stick with LR4 for now.
It was the most frustrating experience.

I received an email last Wednesday that said I was out of downloads. I followed the link, bought a few others and received an email from Adobe with a serial number. When I put the serial number it says 'serial number not valid.
I went through 20 layers of Adobe customer support and nothing has been resolved. I tried the serial number again this morning and have always the serial number is not valid.

I'll put up a new Macbook Pro the retina, bought this week, and try to install the copy of LR 6 I bought in September 2015. It is currently loaded on my old Macbook Pro. I understand that my license allows me to install this on two machines; This is particularly important now that I move from an old machine to a new one.
I downloaded the complete file of the LR6, but when I try to install, I get "update serial number: serial number you provided is valid, but calling it a product was not found on this computer."
I gave the serial number under my account on the Adobe website and delivered when I bought LR 6 September 2015.
It is said to "Select a product", but only gives me options of Lightroom 1-5, not 6. My new LR 6 license is useless just 6 months after purchase?
I opted to buy 6 LR on perpetual license rather than a subscription monthly CC, as my country's currency is devaluing rapidly and I need to be able to afford access. But now Adobe does not seem to recognize the validity of the copy that I own. In fact, it is difficult to find a reference to LR 6 on the Adobe web site.

It shows the message you have purchased an upgrade license, and it asks you to select the older version that you upgraded and provide older version serial number as proof that you are eligible to use the upgrade.

In Adobe buy screen serial number, the "Download" button directed me to a download Avarto Bertelsmann. I have too drive my Mac, security s and downloaded files. Avarto installation was a failure and then found another site of Adobe which was a success. Should I be concerned about the unsuccessful Avarto download?
