A previous network connection lost

My ethernet network consist of:

-2 workstations Windows 7 cables

-1 Windows 7 WiFi laptop computer

-1 office wired Windows XP

- and a HP C309a printer cable

Everything seemed to be initially connected to the network working group when switched on via a router Airport Extreme with Internet access via a modem Telco.  Once the modem has failed, a Telco modem/router was provided as a replacement.

Since then, one of the Windows 7 desktop computers is no longer connects with the WORKING group.  Initially, the cable has proved defective when the Internet and HP printer could not be connected through the router.  A new connection of cable to the Telco router has restored the Internet but still cannot detect the HP printer even through its IP address.  I confirmed that the Office XP always connects to the printer via the router so that all interconnection cables seem to be OK.  After checking that the WORKING group and the permissions settings appear to be the same, and reinstall the printer drivers and software for this office, there is still no connection with the WORKING group or the printer.

In summer, all other workgroup devices connect through the router and the Internet, but 1 desktop computer only connects to the Internet.  I noted that the network connection for this desktop watch network 6, while others show network 4.  Maybe that's the problem.

I need help to reset the settings of office 1 network WORKING group to be compatible with the rest of the devices.

Did you see a yellow triangle next to Teredo Tunneling?

Try the following:

1. Open command prompt with credentials for administrator (find CMD and right click - Run as administrator).
2. Enter the netsh environment. Type "netsh" and ENTER.
3. "int teredo" and ENTER
4 ' set disabled state' and ENTER.
5. open the Device Manager and uninstall "Teredo Tunneling pseudo-interface".
6. open the command prompt with administrator credentials once more.
7 netsh + ENTER.
8. "int ipv6" + ENTRY
9 ' set teredo client' + ENTRY
10. open the Device Manager and the analysis of new hardware.
11. Select 'Show hidden devices' in the view menu. You will see while it is present without errors

  • Apple Store is not up-to-day - network connection lost

    Hello

I have a MacBook Pro with OS X El Capitan installed and allows you to connect to the Bank of the United States, where I bought the laptop. I moved to the New Zealand a few months ago and changed the NZ store, and for the last two weeks that I'm not able to update the software through the Apple Store, I always get the message "the network connection has been lost", even if the network is OK:

My account is active, no problem. I even "bought" a free app just in case and it's all good - I could add to my list of software and download it.

Any thoughts on how to proceed?

    Thank you

    Fabio

More info: I already followed the instructions to "If you can not connect to the iTunes Store - Apple Support.", everything is OK - no firewall issues, DNS or key ring...

    Hello

I see that you have switched from Vista to XP.

First of all I recommend you update the BIOS.
As I m not wrong on the European driver Toshiba page, you should find a newer version of the BIOS.

You will need to upgrade Win XP to the last State.
The XP must be up-to-date and all service packs, hotfixes and patches MS must be installed in your laptop.

Access the Device Manager, and then score in each USB hub root, you must disable the option called allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
You can find this option in the properties-> tab power management

  • Network connectivity lost every 24 hours after the migration of DVS

Hello community...  Well, I'm puzzled again.  I am running a vSphere 5.5 U3 environment with the latest patch.  I'm going through certification VCP - VTC prep and decided to migrate my (lab at home) environment of standard virtual switches to virtual switches distributed as I have not had a lot of experience with them so far.  Migration seems to be okay.  Before migrating, I used three different 1 Gbit/s links a group of hash LACP-IP on my standard vSwitch.  I have several VLANs for different laboratory networks.  One is specifically used as a DMZ for the WAN to my ISP connectivity.  I created a virtual machine for use as a firewall with multiple network cards, which one is connected to this VLAN WAN.  On the standard vSwitch seemed to work exactly as expected.  For some reason any after moving to a DVS, the firewall VM needs to be recharged all morning before the full network connectivity is restored.  It's a strange problem.  I tried to re - create the virtual machine and play with the security settings of DvPortgroup, but the problem persists.  Anyone out there have any ideas as to what could cause this?

Oh, a little more in detail...  I moved from hash balancing LACP/IP road based on the physical NIC load with the migration to DVS.  Remove groups from the aggregation of connection of the switch too.

Well, change of load balancing policy and upgrade the DvSwitch to version 6 did not help.  However, I stopped the machine virtual and added 4 E1000 NIC as a test.  I've reconfigured the firewall VM to use the new cards instead of the VMXNET3.  Load Balancing has changed back to "load depending on the physical NETWORK card" and always use VGT to separate traffic.  From now on, he went the longest without experiencing the issue so far.  About 16 hours so far without having to restart the virtual machine.  Will keep posted guys.

    Hello

In your case, I recommend updating BIOS and to enable the option to Wake up on LAN in the BIOS and Vista.

In Vista, you can enable it in Device Manager-> properties-> Advanced tab LAN card

In addition, an update of the LAN driver would be desirable.

  • Scanning network connection lost

I use Windows 7 with Officejet Pro 8600, recently I tried scanning, but the error message says that I have no connection. I checked all the cables, tried to get my pc and printer and the router market works and worked by the doctor of printing & scanning HP. The doctor fixed the problem of scanning if I use the screen on the printer, but if I try to use my PC software it always says no connection. Doctor is not helping here. Can anyone help?

Hi GS64 and welcome to the forums of HP!

I see that you are facing problems of scan software.  I would like to help!

I would say uninstalling the software of the printer.

Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest to reinstall the HP printer install wizard for Windows.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • Network connection lost to ESXi 4.1

We have 2 guests ESXi 4.1 which randomly (about once a month), completely drop off the network.  All guests are inaccessible and the management network is not accessible.  Can not ping any IP address or log in no matter what.  When you access the console, everything looks OK.  Using the tools of the console, ping the network also fails.  After the restart, all is well until the next mistake.  The two boxes do not reach the same way.

Both are HP Proliant DL360p Gen8 servers.

I have some difficulty troubleshooting this as well as the points of VMWare documentation for log files that I can't on my system for troubleshooting.  I exported the vSphere client log files and all seems to be based on the last restart, is not much help.

Any help in diagnosing (or if you already know this problem) would be greatly appreciated.

Safari refuses to go to certain websites (facebook.com, youtube.com) on my iPod Touch and instead displays this error:

The bubble at the top where I typed in the URL doesn't change, it always says "facebook.com" or something else.

No matter where I am, so it won't get fixed by resetting my home Wi - Fi router. Other sites load fine. I have reset the iPod, too, by pressing the sleep button and one on the front (whatever it's called) until I see the apple logo. I also did 'Story clear and data Web site' in the Safari settings.

I searched the web and found a number of threads that start with similar complaints, but I can't find one where the problem has been resolved in fact.

    Thank you!

Not "no matter where I am," means, it happens with all networks?

    If so:

    Try:

-Reset the device iOS. Nothing will be lost

Device iOS Reset: Hold down the On / Off button and the Home button at the same time for to

ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    -Reset all settings

Go to settings > general > Reset and tap reset all settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as your contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) are not affected.

    -Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

    -Restore factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem, make an appointment at an Apple store Genius Bar because it appears that you have a hardware problem.

I'm having the same problem with a HO Photosmart 5520 and win 10. The solution to this annoying problem is far too complex and time consuming. Instead, it should be an option just to cut the sound notificaiotn.

Welcome to the HP community @janhoza!

I came across your post regarding your printer lost network connection and wanted to pop in to help.

Through your message, we don't have the option to disable the notification. But I think that we can solve this problem by simply assigning a static IP address. Here are the steps:

    • Get the IP address of the printer, you can touch the 'Wireless' icon on the Control Panel printer to get the IP address.
    • Type the IP address in your web browser to get the EWS page on your computer printer.
    • Go to the 'Network' tab - click on "wireless (802.11), and then click «network address (IPv4)»»
    • Click on the box that says "Manual IP", then click "Propose an IP address manually" to give an IP address manually to your printer.
    • Click on the radio button that says 'Manual of the DNS server' and under manual type favorite 8.8.8.8 and manual replacement enter 8.8.4.4 (it is Google's DNS server address)

Let me know if this helps. Good luck!
